Clearblue digi weeks decreasing

I had what I thought was my period on 23rd August which was box standard usual AF for me (6 days; 3 heavy and 3 light) but 6 days after I got some light pink spotting which turned brown and was only when I wiped. Very similar to an implantation bleed so I tested and got several BFP including a clearblue digital saying 2-3 weeks. I tested again 3 days later and it was still 2-3 weeks. The brown spotting lasted 5 days and then today (1 week after initial tests showed BFP) I got a 1-2 weeks with my first morning pee and so I tried with second morning pee and result was the same.
Really worried it’s an ectopic or something, I’ll have to wait to speak to GP on Monday but wondered if anyone else experienced a similar thing?

Sounds like a chemical pregnancy potentially. Call EPU on Monday for piece of mind but I think they'll tell you to wait and see if you start bleeding. Test again next week if you haven't bled though.

I've had this and unfortunately it ended in miscarriage

Doesn't sound like an ectopic (I've had 2) as your hcg is decreasing rather than increasing so sounds like your body is trying to resolve this itself x

I would maybe use a frer or similar to see the darkness of the line and then in a couple of days time to see if it gets darker or fainter.
Sadly a few months ago my lines got paler and then disappeared. It had been a chemical pregnancy. (The baby had not implanted successfully) these are really common which I did not realise at the time.

I hope that doing a test that is not digital will reassure you and it will all work out.

@WildT2020 so sorry you're experiencing this. I had something similar in February, got several BFP on both FRERs and CB Digitals. Symptoms were progressing nicely and I even started to feel a bit nauseated, all in line with what I had read to expect. We stupidly told both our parents when I was 5 weeks and in the following few days I did another FRER I had laying around just out of curiosity to make sure the line was still nice and dark, it wasn't... in fact it was barely visible. I chalked it up to having done it in the evening and my PG symptoms continued until I was 6 +1 when I woke up with no symptoms (like they'd all just stopped overnight) and was bleeding. I had a MC that day and a scan at the EPU to make sure all was clear about 3 days later, during which they tested me again and it was definitely negative. Not to be a scaremonger, but I would be concerned about HCG decreasing and would advise the same as the PPs, try and get an appointment at the EPU for a scan. I really hope this works out for you though, keeping everything crossed for you OP x

@jazzibelle that sounds exactly like me. We told my parents at 5 weeks ... I was sure my mum would guess anyway 😖 I was so sick for two weeks after the miscarriage. It takes the body a while to catch up with the reality.
@WildT2020 you need to do another test. Don’t panic. But don’t count your chickens just yet either.
((Hugs))

Hi op, hope you sorry you're experiencing this.

I had a similar thing happen jut it ended badly. It was an indication of the impending miscarriage.

I got 1-2 wks then a wk later 2-3 wks then 10 days later I was expecting 3+ but it has bounced back to 1-2 wks.

When scanned at what should have been 7 wks there was an irregular collapsed sac and nothing else. Had a re scan 10 days later and had tissue remaining so today I got medical management xx

I really hope yours works out differently xx

Im not very hopeful of a positive outcome here but the progressing symptoms are really cruel! I had no nausea at all but yesterday I felt it a bit and today it’s much worse, as well the the typical aversion to coffee - all this morning! It’s horrible cos it’s give you a glimmer or hope but the odds are against me. Thank you for all your replies! I’ll be calling my GP Monday perhaps they’ll do bloods to confirm it. Never had a miscarriage before so I’ve no idea what to expect.

@WildT2020 thinking of you. Try to keep cautiously positive until you know for certain. The progressing symptoms are indeed cruel.

Thank you so much everyone for your replies! Just a little update, I did another test with a 4h hold and it’s still showing as 1-2 weeks. Symptoms have subsided apart from some sharp pains now and again, sort of around my lower left side but around my back if that makes sense. I’ll still be calling Dr tomorrow, just kind of don’t want to go anywhere cos of COVID lol we’ve successfully locked down since March so to have to go to the Drs where sick people go, makes me so anxious!

@WildT2020 sorry to hear that, this happened to me at the weekend so you’re not alone! It’s so hard going from pure excitement & joy, to totally devastated. Hope you’re OK. I’ve read that you should start your first day of bleeding as CD1 so I’m hoping I’m ovulating again in two weeks, they say you’re more fertile after a MC 🤞🏼🤞🏼Lots of love. xxx
