8 dpo BFN first response

Hi all, I am 8 dpo today or possibly 7 as can’t be sure what day I ovulated. Got smiley face 30/8. Dtd 31/8 and 1/9. Was determined to wait until my period was day late to test but couldn’t resist today as heard some people get bfp as early as 8 dpo. Feel so sad now and angry for not waiting. Anyone else in same boat. Just pray this is my month.

I did the same and tested early this week and of course, got a BFN! I'm 9 DPO today so just hoping that by the time my period is due that I'll get a BFP. Have you had any implantation symptoms?

No none at all. Just feel normal. Trying to tell myself it’s not my month just don’t feel pregnant. Hate the bloody wait.

You might not even implant until day 6-8 so it would be far too early to detect hcg. It’s only triggered once implantation happens.

Thanks @Jaysdream7! @TeaSoakedDisasterMagnet is right! If you implanted today then you'd need to give it a few more days for hcg to be detected. Plus implantation usually happens between 6 - 12 DPO so you might have a little bean floating around at the moment just waiting for the right time to snuggle in! Could be today, could be in four days so there's still plenty of hope to be had!

Hiya ladies just give it a few days more before u test x im also on my 2 week wait im not sure to be honest with u how many dpo i am but about 3 days ago i had like really bad period cramps it felt like tightenings around my ovaries almost as if it was bleeding type then this morning had sharp pains in my cervix. Which also felt as if it was tightly closed, However not all women feel any pain at all if u are in early pregnancy. When are u looking to test again

Hi @Brightlightangels! I'm definitely waiting until the weekend before I test. I too had lots of ovary pain after ovulation - it felt like one sided ovulation cramps but they've stayed with me every single day since I've ovulated. But now my cramps are much more central. Could mean something, could mean nothing

@Jaysdream7 if there's a line, two more days should get it dark enough for you to see it! So maybe try again on Thursday?

@Jaysdream7 Hi? I’m the same as you. DPO 8 or 7 (not 100% sure coz my two apps vary by one day) took a test this morning has I was having cramps yesterday and this morning. Only an IC coz I knew it was too early and I’m not wasting my FRER. BFN. Apart from the cramps I also have increased CM, sometimes I think my boobs are sore but other times I think I’m imagining it. I’m tired, but I’m always tired 🙈. Had all these symptoms last month aswell so trying not to look too much into it. To top it all I have a short Luteal phase to have a few more days to wait really.

I’m with you. In hoping not to test for a few days now. AF is due friday or Saturday so I’m hoping to hold off til then, but I can almost guarantee I will be back here tomorrow or Thursday! I’m also a pregnancy test hoarder so I have loads to tempt me. I have three or four digitals, two FRER and 20 ICs. Got a bit carried away! X

When i was pregnant with my daughter i never had no symptoms especially in the beginning. later on i was craving McDonalds and had itchy boobs. With my son during the 2ww i had a lot of symptoms constantly going wee increased hunger along with craving bananas sleeping a lot,discharge then i done a test on the Thursday because i was due on fri and had 2 strong lines

Oh cuteee! Does it have a specific meaning in another language or you liked the way it sounds? I definitely think it would be pretty for a name.

Oh my symptoms have been interesting and strange but I'm taking into account that as I've just started using Pregnacare vitamins, it might be affecting my cycle.

But from 2DPO to 5DPO I had constant cramping on the right side by my ovaries. Then 6DPO to 7DPO the pain moved and become constant on the right side of my lower back sort of opposite where my ovaries are. Yesterday (8DPO) the cramps then became central and low like AF cramps. But throughout the cycle I've also experienced A LOT of trapped wind and very emotional days crying for no reason. I also made a meal yesterday that I felt tasted disgusting to me but my DH said it tasted fine so that could be a symptom too. Also had a sore throat and randomly blocked nose yesterday night! Haha I feel like I've felt everything!
