In which week did your chemical happen?

I've had multiple chemicals and they all occurred in the 5th week of pregnancy (in the week Af was due).
I am just wondering when you ladies with these chemical pregnancy experiences get them.

I've had 4 chemicals and they've all happened around 5 weeks. I may have had 5 but I refused to test with the last one. I'm now on baby aspirin after a referral to the recurrent miscarriage clinic, but so far nothing.

At exactly 5 weeks, 4 days after AF was due

I had 3 of them, all around 5 weeks as well.

Mine was 3 weeks and a day - two days before AF was due. Got my +ve on the Tues, was negative by Fri (prob Thurs but I didn't test that day) and AF arrived right on schedule on the Sat.

Whew. Almost always around when AF is due. I'm sorry y'all.

I have had 4 chemicals as well and I'm worried too. @Meme69 what strength of baby aspirin do you take and how many times?

@asabee 75mg daily was what the consultant said to buy. The pharmacist knew exactly what it was for as soon as I asked for it so it must be the standard dose.

Only had one. I got a positive about 10 DPO and then started bleeding around 5 weeks so a week and a half after my positive test. The tests throughout this week and a half were very faint so I expected it.

5 weeks here too.

When do you start taking baby aspirin please? From day one or after ovulation?

Report
asabee · 02/09/2020 09:31

@Meme69 yes I read that most people take 75mg but others take 150mg too. Either ways I think I'd start taking it ASAP because I've had enough. It's heartbreaking
@zigaziga it unfortunate but can you believe with one of my chemicals the lines were so damn deep I never suspected it'd happen. Lord knows why this has to happen

@whatever1980 maybe right after you get your bFP

I was told to use it everyday whilst ttc then contact recurrent miscarriage clinic when I conceive. If I ever do.

Just to chip in, another fan of baby aspirin here! I had two previous miscarriages and read up on this loads. Had positive test on 3rd July and started 75mg a day. Currently 13 weeks pregnant and all going well 🥰at 12 week scan midwife increased dose to 150mg (as I'm 40 - they give everyone aspirin at my ripe old age apparently!) anyway the guidance recently changed she said and they now recommend 150mg. Good luck!

Mine was just shy of 6 weeks - about 5 days after I got my positive pregnancy test. It was absolutely crushing, because we had just begun to get tentatively excited and use the word 'pregnant'. But hey, this was my first pregnancy ever, so I'm glad I got to feel that way even for a few days. It gave us renewed determination to keep going, so that was a positive!

Mine was just before 5 weeks. Think I was 4+5.

5 weeks, the 5 and a half weeks as have had two. It's a cruel thing to happen. Messed my cycle up after each one too!

@hellymum21 I've heard a lot of good news about it and I'm starting soon. Hopefully my lil bean sticks as I've gone through too much already.
Thanks for the reassurance lovely

@Rumples & @Theawkwardblonde so sorry about your experiences but you will all get your bFPs soon. So far as it has happened before we're very very likely to carry our own babies soon fingers crossed 🤞
