Any Ovusense users?

I'm seriously intrigued and prepared to throw some money at Ovusense (and lots of other tips in another thread I opened looking for ways to throw money at TTC)

My questions for current users are -

How long was delivery?

What stage of your cycle should you start using it?

For context I'm currently 5/6 DPO with zero confidence that I'm pregnant and would like something that can truly accurately tell me my fertile window. I haven't had great luck with Clearblue digital and temping for months on end has confirmed I do ovulate, but I ovulate at different times so I can't use historic temping data as a prediction.

Sex for TTC has to be carefully scheduled in my relationship and so having any doubt over the two days leading up to and on Ovulation day is really wasting so many months!

I use Ovusense.

It is good for tracking your cycle however please be aware it will not tell you you are ovulating. It confirms after it has happened. Based on this, it'll then put in a fertile window for you for the next cycle. If you have a normal regular cycle, use it in conjunction with OPKs so they can give you a heads up.

You can use it once you have finished your period but you record a cycle from day 1 of your period.

I am on a medicated cycle currently and this is what my chart looks like. You wear it overnight (for at least 6 hours) and it takes your core temp every 5 minutes. It'll then give a temp when you download it the next day. After 5 days of temps you'll see a rolling 5 day average temp green line appear on your chart and this is what is used to confirm ovulation.

Any Ovusense users?

As far as I can recall, delivery was fairly swift, a few days but can take up to 7days.

You can buy a start park which is the sensor and 2 free month's subscription and then move to rolling monthly £20 (cancel at any time via pay pal account) or you buy a 12 month subscription for £120. No refunds on that if you do get pregnant before the 12 months is up.

Would advise joining the Facebook group, lots of other women in all walks of TTC life using it and lots of people who can help with your chart if you have questions.

Ah that's so frustrating.

I've been quite confidently using BBT which shows a clear rise indicating ovulation every month. But I ovulate from CD 16 up to CD 26 every month so I can't use this data for predicting next months window.

Seems to be that the Ovusense is failproof BBT tracking, I was hoping for something that could accurately predict ovulation in real time every month so we could schedule DTD.

:(

It may give you an "ovulation window" if your temps go up in a way that indicates ovulation but I find that it's often too late by that point.

I don't think Ovusense is for you if you need to be very specific on timing. It won't confirm ovulation until after your temps have remained raised for 3-5 days.

Thanks so much for your help and saving me the disappointment! I will stick to OPKs and maybe just test a few more times per day with OPK to time things better
