Ahhh am I or aren't I?

My husband doesn't believe this means I'm pregnant. I stupidly took a digital test this afternoon and it says not pregnant so he says he doesn't think I am and won't believe it until then...Now I'm doubting myself! Going to take a strip test in the morning again. No symptoms at all. Not even sore boobs which I always get before my period.

Not sure the point of this is but as I haven't told anyone that I might be I need to just write this out!

That definitely looks positive to me. It does look like an early positive thought so I'm not surprised the digital was negative.

Could you get a FRER? They are normally very easy to distinguish a line on. I recommend taking a picture of before and after to 'prove' it to your DH. Grin I had to do that for mine because he was in too much shock to accept my faint line as real. 🤣

@Curiosity101 great idea! I'll do that. I don't know if it's just denial or he's freaking out! Will see if I can pick up a first response tomorrow. If I saved the urine from first pee would it work mid morning to test on?

I'm not sure.... I assume it would. I don't think HCG breaks down that quickly but I'd Google it if I were you.

Good luck though, I bet he's just in shock 😄

Looks like an early positive to me! Digital tests aren’t as sensitive and don’t usually pick up til af is due or late! Unless it’s a clear blue 6 days early digital

I have read on here that collected pee has a very short shelf life so I don't know if you could use it later in the day. I can't remember how long you can keep it though sorry!

But first responses are more sensitive than clear blue so if a line is showing up on the internet cheapies then a line should show up on a first response. Maybe buy a pack with 2 in there so if the mid morning pee doesn't work you still have one for the next days first morning pee!

I think those are positive tests. I feel your pain though as I got very faint positives for days and I didn't even tell DH until the line darkened enough that he couldn't dispute it! With our first I showed him the faint lines and he didn't really believe it until I got hold of a digital and it literally spelled out pregnant!

@Curiosity101 yes I think you are right!

@2020wish yes I'm annoyed at myself for wasting an expensive test as should've known it would not be strong enough!

@Lackadaisically yes that's exactly what he said. He wants to see the words! Think I'll hold off 4/5 days for that one! 😆

How many DPO are you?

This was my IC at 9DPO and DH didn't believe me either so I sent him straight out to get an FRER and there was no denying that.

I'd say if you're not many DPO then that's a definite positive and you need an FRER! (Pls whatever you do, DONT buy them from amazon. Many many times they're fake tests and I've seen so bloody many women with false positives and they continue ordering them from amazon as they're cheaper, but it's just money down the drain! )

@mrsmummy1111 ahh amazing congratulations! Did you wait till the next morning to use the FRER or use right away?

OP my cheapies looked exactly like that, in fact probably more pale. I didn't believe it either but a FRER the next day was as clear as day.

Just out of interest I've been using up my last cheapies to check progression and only now at 6 weeks are they dark and clear as day.

A line is a line - you're pregnant! Congrats!

@mrsmummy1111 pa Fitbit said I ovulated 🤷🏼‍♀️ in 14th and I'm due my period today (had the copper coil out on 8th June) so maybe more like 12 DPO? I'm unsure

@chrissagcat There's are my cheapies - there's an OPK in the middle.
Then a Superdrug early response.

Then a FRER the next day.

My lines were even fainter than yours.

Those internet cheapies are crap for getting good strong test lines until about a week after you've missed a period ime. Def try a different brand and I usually wait for a day or two after missing a period to use a digital as they are much less sensitive. It does look promising - fingers crossed for you!
