Too early for frer?? I feel pregnant but bfn

Hello, please can someone give me some advise because I'm driving myself crazy!

I ovulated 9 days ago, BD lots around the time. 2 days ago (7dpo) I had some slight spotting and stomach cramps. My boobs are so painful and feel heavy and I've been tired. My period is due in 6 days. Today I have done a frer and it came back as negative. Am I doing the test too soon? I honestly feel like I'm pregnant and had all symptoms on implantation, but by me getting that bfn this morning, it surprised me that I wasn't! Am I doing the test too soon? Has anyone else experienced something similar and then tested in a few days and got a BFP?

Any other experiences would be great to hear! Thank you x

I'd say 9dpo is about the earliest you can get a positive. I had one at 9dpo on a frer but it was very faint.
You're definitely not out yet!

DD2 was like this, I was testing from 8DPO because I just knew. Took until 10DPO to get a very faint positive.

I got a negative FRER at 9 dpo, then I waited and got a positive at 12 dpo. Sore boobs were my first sign! (Never got them before)

DD1 was like this. I knew I was pregnant but it took a good few days of feeling that way until I got an undeniably positive test.

With other pregnancies they've always been very faint on FRER until around 13DPO and never glaringly positive until about 16DPO. All healthy pregnancies and kids.

Thank you so much for your replies! It has put my mind at rest a little. My boobs are so painful, and I never get painful boobs, so really thought that this is a sign. I'm going to stop testing now I think and leave it until when AF should be here and then test again, I don't want to keep seeing bfn!
