I posted here last week I had got my BFP, started spotting Sunday night and had a cheapie negative test yesterday morning and it seems like it’s a chemical, the spotting has now turned to heavier bleeding and I’ve had some cramps, the sore boobs I did have are gone. Gonna do another test in a couple days just to confirm again but I already know deep down. Not really any point in this post I guess, except for that this shit is heartbreaking, OH is feeling it too, I can tell and we’re both just trying to stay happy in front of our 4 year old. I keep having to run off to cry in the toilet. I may off only been pregnant a week but i started to dream and now it’s ended and I just feel ugh. Is it true that you conceive quicker after a chemical? Is the first day of bleeding counted as cycle day 1? This is all new, and I’m scared that it’s now gonna be another 18 months before it happens again. TTC is unbelievably hard.

Hi, I had a chemical pregnancy last month and it was devastating. We've had a bit of crap time anyway with our wedding being postponed from July 20 to July 21 and we really wanted to have another baby straight after wedding (little girl is 2 now). so thought we would try and squeeze one in now if possible. Fell pregnant on first attempt and now this is our second and final attempt for this year. It is sh*t I'm sorry, take some time to process it, it is still a loss no matter what and then when u feel ready, try again. I have seen lots of women say they got pregnant the next month and I have read similar things online so we can only hope :). Will let you know next week how true it is xx

TTC is really tough. Anecdotally I've heard a lot of people say that they have conceived again quickly after a CP.

I had a CP in my Nov/Dec 19 Cycle - tested early at DPO10 and got a faint bfp then started AF on DPO15 after some spotting the day before. Was completely gutted and promised myself in the future I wouldn't test until I was officially late - for me it was easier emotionally to deal with - oh i didn't get pregnant this month vs. i've had a conception and its gone wrong. I conceived again 2 cycles later at the very end of Jan tested mid-Feb and I am now almost 22w.

Keeping everything crossed for you going forwards.

@xlaurapxx I'm in the exact same boat as you, due to marry abroad in August but now postponed until next August, so started TTC now instead, fell pregnant last month but had a chemical at 5 weeks!

@Wearewaiting sorry you feel like this, I can relate, felt exact same last month, I counted first day of bleeding as CD1, I'm now on CD37 with no sign of AF yet! Took a FRER this morning and had a very very very faint line, so could well be the case you are more fertile after a miscarriage! (Have my fingers crossed anyway) 🤞🏼

Hi Lovelys!

There's always a point to posting, you're feeling shitty and need some support and there's nothing wrong with that!

We've been TTC for 9 months and I had CP at 5 weeks in February, which was my first time being pregnant. I went to the doctors and broke down crying before she even knew what was wrong, and was that distraught she told me I had to have the day off work to mentally recover. It really is an awful experience no matter how many weeks, as soon as you see that BFP you can't help but be excited, so don't beat yourself up about being upset, you need to be extra kind to yourselves.

I unfortunately didn't get caught again straight away, and I am having irregular periods since coming off the pill and only had two periods (including CP bleeding) since Feb, currently on CD75 of this cycle, so me & OH are getting pretty fed up as trying to time it is impossible! Been for bloods etc but seems to be nothing causing them, so just gotta hang in there.

BUT don't loose hope, my cousin is currently pregnant (due next month) and she got caught the cycle after her CP, as did my friend who has a 1 year old, so there's most definitely a chance it'll happen quickly.

Also sorry to hear a couple of you have had your weddings postponed too, that's not the extra stress you need right now!

Wishing you all luck that it happens soon & congrats @Talcott2007 💞

I'm so sorry for you, it's an emotional rollercoaster and I think early testing is a ba**d. I'm currently going through the same here, lines on tests for days and today the most striking negative ever
It's so heart breaking. I wish you the very best. There are no words but being on here makes you feel less alone doesn't it?Sad
