LH tests - I’m confused

Hi all,

I bought some tests to do to see when I am ovulating but I am confused because it’s my fertile ‘week’ but yet I’m 0. How long does it take to jump up to a high LH? Does anyone have some examples for a newbie Grin

Thankyou!

This is my first month doing them but mine jumped really quickly. Once I got above 0 I started testing 3-4 times/day

When did you start testing? How long is your cycle?

I can’t get back to the pictures of mine on my app but I would agree you need to keep testing. You may ovulate later than you think.

I started testing on the 22nd when it said it was my ‘window’.

Wow - I didn’t realise it would jump up that much several times a day! I will test in the morning and see if it’s gone up. That’s a lot quicker than I expected, thought it would take days!

This is mine and you can see my first peak at the top. I started testing from CD10. My peak really didn't last very long, possibly a few hours (def less than 12 hours). By the time I tested again in four hours it was going back down.

Oh so it’s possible you could just miss it then testing once a day I guess. That’s good to know for next cycle, might do twice a day

For a 28 day cycle I think you start cd 10. I started a couple of days earlier In case you i ovulated early and started three times daily as soon as it went above 0. I had high levels for a full day before peak. And had peak levels for 3 readings albeit reducing each time

Thanks, this is really helpful. I’m still bf my nearly 3 year old Hmm (that’s another story, he’s just not ready to give it up yet) and my cycles are a bit of of whack. Last month it was nearly 40 days! Hopefully I’m still ovulating & I’m just ovulating late & will see a peak soon

Mine was like this! I ended up testing like 3 times a day and noticed it got darker in the middle of the day! I'd try testing a bit more often x

@Slat3 try twice a day and then once you see the line getting stronger try every 4 hours. Once you have a rough idea what cycle day I'm sure it'll make it easier next month to know when to start testing!

Hey, sorry I can't help with your question as I'm also about to start testing this month and was wondering what app you're using to track this? Thank you Smile

@bibs124 hi, I bought the Femometer ones from amazon & downloaded the app. They were £15.99 & inc 50 + 20 pregnancy cheapies too Smile

Predicted day today and still nothing. Probably a good thing as my husband is in bed and on nights tonight anyway Grin
Hoping I’ll see something soon & that they do work properly.
