Low cervix - am I out?

Hi all,

I read that when you’re pregnant your cervix will be high and soft and when you get AF it will be low and hard.

I haven’t been tracking my cervix position daily but I’m pretty familiar with how it changes for me. I’m 7dpo and my cervix is super low - I only need to put my finger in an inch and I can feel it. It’s kind of spongy - soft on the outside but hard once you press the spongyness (if that makes sense)

Does that mean I’m out? I felt positive this month but now feeling discouraged. I’m just not sure if this is a trusty sign or not?

I honestly don’t think you can go by your cervix. I have also read that but On my first day of AF it was high and soft and now on day 4 it’s way out of reach!

@LuckyFlash I've read that the cervical change after conception doesn't come until a few weeks later, so I wouldn't go by your cervix in regards to trying to work out if you're pregnant or not :)
