Thanks creating the new thread.

Little update from me: following my MC bleeding stopping last Thursday/Friday, I decided to take a pregnancy test this morning. Used a cheap One Step test which says it detects Hcg at 10mlU.

I had a very very very faint positive barely visible but there. Just wondering if I should crack on and start TTC? Anyone got any experience for how long their levels took to go back to non detectable on a home pregnancy test? X

@mrsssk it took me around 3 weeks to get a negative result but my head was all over the place and I wasn't ready to try anyway, could you check with EPU? If you feel ready and they say all OK just go for it

Report
mrsssk · 09/06/2020 15:43

@Dizzy201 I'll ring EPU in the morning and check. Thanks for the suggestion.

I was at 210mlU when I went to EPU after my bleeding (and was 1900mlU before the bleeding 5 days earlier) so it's definitely reducing. Maybe the last few ml is just taking a bit longer to clear out of my system.

@vp91 thanks for the new thread

Had a MMC in feb at 9.5weeks now on cycle 3 CD2.
Currently using pregnacare conception, vitamin d,
Ava bracelet, fertility cup, grapefruit juice and calc Fluor during tww. I will be trying SMEP again this month. Thinking about buying pre seed and cq10 although I keep thinking to myself I have conceived 4 times before now 3 of those were successful and the One I prepared for and took vitamins before pregnancy I lost. I also fell pregnant with 8 month old dd while on the pill and pregnancy I lost we dtd once that month. I feel like I want to step back and relax but then I worry that I'm wasting a month if you get what I mean. Anyway takeout and wine tonight and I've had coffee today, the only good thing about AF arriving xx

Thanks @VP91x xxx

I'm cycle 3 TTC after MC in March - although the first month after MC wasn't tracking, second cycle used apps and this one I'm throwing everything at it. @Dipsy77 I'm with you when I think about how when I fell pregnant I was taking nothing at all. I only continued the pregnancy vits because I'd started taking them for pregnancy then switched to the conception ones. I'm the same though - I don't want to leave anything to chance, but also don't want to get consumed.

Yet here I am now worrying about hayfever tablets Hmm - not consumed at all....Ha! @elliew818 and @dipsy77, thanks for the tips. Bit late for this cycle but maybe I'll try and lay off them. Bloody rough though when I sneeze every few seconds - hardly a turn on for OH - he wants to hit me when I sneeze. Confused

@mrsssk I had a ERPC so unsure on when levels but I know people start to try after bleeding has stopped. I think they prefer to wait for a cycle just so they can date the pregnancy more easily but I'd start trying if you're comfortable!!

@Dipsy77 I know what you mean in terms of feeling like you're trying 'too much'. Both my pregnancies were easily conceived and we weren't trying. But, I'd also hate to think I wasn't 'doing' anything at all. Weird situation!

Xx

Hi. Can I join you ladies? I've just had my mc confirmed today with a scan. I would have been 7 wks today and my booking apt arrived in the post this afternoon. Not great timing. I've got to go back to the EPU on Thursday for more blood tests and they want me to wait for my next AF before ttc again.

@VP91x thanks for the add. I'm in my tww 5dpo, this cycle I used ic opks, dtd every other and on day of peak and day after. I've been taking a preconception vitamin, seven seas omega 3 with evening primrose oil in them and started taking calc fluor in tww. I've also been drinking pink grapefruit juice.
Sending lots of baby dust to everyone. Xx

Thank you @VP91x, and drowning yourself in grapefruit juice totally made me laugh 😂

Background for me is mc in Feb 2020, ttc first cycle but didn't track ov. Tracked using cheapies 2nd cycle and didn't see a positive. Tracked using cb 3rd cycle and got static after 5 days of flashies. Going to use cb with cheapies this month so I hopefully won't go through as many overpriced, highly annoying, flashing smilie sticks 🤣

@Dipsy77 totally get what you are saying, and something I have been giving much thought to this cycle. I too have been pregnant 4 times. All of which were very much wanted but none were properly 'tried for'. Didn't time dtd, never used an opk, etc etc. They just happened, so very easily.
Since the loss, I am so terribly desperate to be pregnant again, the pressure I am feeling is unbearable, I am sure it is hindering conception.
I am going to continue with the opk's this month, but really try to relax otherwise.

@Jazper I know what you mean it's all I can think about. One of my friends fell pregnant a few weeks before my MMC she's just had her 20 week scan it seems to have flown plus a friend had her baby the other day and another friend is due any day l. The baby I lost was due on dds 2st birthday so I keep getting reminders on Facebook about this time last year and it's me and the bump or scan pics and I keep thinking that would be me now if I hadn't lost baby xx

@VP91x I've been taking coq10 for 3 months due to my age, figured it couldn't hurt and I wanted to make sure was taking all the right supplements before we started trying, if anything I feel it gives me an energy boost at the very least

@Dipsy77 and @Jazper

I feel the same about wanting to be pregnant after the loss, does anyone else think more people are falling with this lock down or an i just noticing it more?

Had anyone had good results with Coq10 or other supplements? I keep worrying I'm to old to conceive and feeling we have maybe left it 2 late to have one together x

@peonyrose87 how are you hun? What CD are you on?

@anaconda76 welcome ❤️ so sorry you are going through your loss. Have they said why they want you to wait for next AF? X

@Jazper haha, I literally am drinking so much because I discovered absolutely love the taste. Hope it is my lucky drink 😂
It really is alot to take on when you are actively TTC it is like our minds can't switch off!

Hi @mrsssk I'm sorry for your loss ❤️ it seems like your levels are dropping nicely. My experience was not as fast. It took me 9 weeks to drop to "0". I found that towards the end when Hcg was low, it started taking longer to drop. The final drop was as follows:

15 April - 86
4 May - 10
15 May - 5
27 May - 3 (regarded as a negative)

So you can see, the final stretch took a bit long for me. It's different for everyone though, unfortunately it's just a waiting game. But having said that, I've read lots of stories of ladies ovulating and getting pregnant while still having a little bit of Hcg in their system, so no harm in trying 😊❤️

Update: trying for #2 and after three early losses this year. This month I’m on grapefruit juice, smep plan, extra vit D, calc fleur, high dose folic acid, seven seas conception bits, Omega 3, co cq10. I’m planning to try progesterone cream and aspirin this month to try and help me help a pregnancy. 1dpo today and plan to test around the 19th

Thanks for the thread @vp91x
@Dipsy77 that's the nasal spray, I'd forgotten what it was called so thanks!
@MichT4 I feel your pain I've been sneezing about 10 times every hour at least but only wet myself once with a surprise sneeze so I'll count that as a win 😳
@anaconda76 welcome to the thread, sorry you've so recently experienced a loss, hopefully you'll be able to start TTC soon
@Dipsy77 and @Jazper I think you're both right, there's something in the water at the minute. I've just had to unfriend someone on FB, she announced her pregnancy a day after I had my 12 week scan and found out about the fetal abnormality, so her due date is October when mine would have been...anyway she just posted a long status talking about how miserable it is being pregnant in quarantine- which she is totally entitled to feel that way but I just want to scream 'at least you are pregnant, like I should have been!'

2020wish · 09/06/2020 17:55

@elliew818 I know how you feel with the wanting to scream at people complaining about being pregnant. My friend who knows I’ve lost 3 this year messages me yesterday telling me all about her neighbour being pregnant and how she feels o sorry for her because she’s fed up now and just wants to go into labour and it must be awful. I just replied yea well as least she got this far I’m her pregnancy and will be holding her baby I’m a few weeks: so hurtful

@Dipsy77 so strange, my last pregnancy had a due date same as DS as well. I hope that's going to help me not feel too down around that time because I had a bit of a meltdown around due date of MC #1. Hopefully I'll be distracted planning a 2 year old's birthday party.
