eleanorsmum....I am ttc #3 DS1 took 9 months DS2 took 11 months and after ds2 took the depo for a year...then decided quite like another on dh not so keen but nearly 3 years on is frustrated that I am not pg - how things change?!
Anyway saw dr 2 years after ttc and long short periods etc - had the 21 day test which was fine - saw dr feb this year - dh had his tests all ok, saw cons March who gave me clomid - have taken 5 cycles with clomid and cycles back to 28 days which is fab....this month had the lap and dye (hsg) which was also perfect... this month only managed to bd cd10 so probably no chance (Dh works away alot)... so af due beginning Oct - have appointment with cons then too plus will take last clomid - I think cons will probably increase clomid as just a matter of time....

Anyway waffle over - go back to your doctor explain situation and ask for day 21 test - he will tell you that dh will need to be tested too! Then probably refer you to consultant - depending on where you live slow or quick - I saw mine within 3 weeks!
ds2 is now 4!! so a long gap!
Hope that helps

I went recently and it was day 8 and she said she'd test me on day ? - 7 and day 21. I nearly burst into tears and said won't day 8 be ok and she got me straight into the nurse.

Good luck with it all, mine's a different reason for having the tests and haven't been trying long but still stressed me out, I really feel for you and wish you all the best!
