Has anyone conceived this way?

Hi all, I'm new on here. I have searched for threads regarding the below and there are some answers but I guess I'm looking for more reassurance!

My wife and I want to start TTC however I have a delayed ejaculation problem. I'm working on sorting this, however in the mean time, I am masturbating to the point of climax and then inserting and ejaculating.

Has anyone conceived this way and is it as affective as normal ejaculation? I mean I guess it's just getting the baby gravy in the right place right?!Smile

TIA

I haven't but I can't see why it wouldn't work, if essentially the same thing is happening! Get your wife to start tracking her cycles and know when she is ovulating too as that will help a lot. Best of luck Smile

I can't see why that wouldn't work at all? As long as you are both perfectly happy I'd say keep trying that, and also just track cycles so you know the best times.

Thank you to everyone that has replied and for your kind words! @Chlo2701 glad that made you chuckle! Grin.

Will definitely track ovulation, wife is normally very regular so shouldn't be too difficult Smile thanks again guys

Hey! We started TTC this way in January (was trying normally prior to this for around 12 months with no luck) I am now 15 weeks pregnant so is does work!

I wish you all the best for you

@annonononomous thank you!

When you say trying normally previously, how do you mean?

Congratulations and all the best with your pregnancy Smile

@GSLP01 maybe I phrased that a little
Insensitively (I didn't mean to do so!)

we were trying to DTD through the fertile window and if he could manage to finish then great, if not we didn't try anything else

I don't think the pressure helped my DH so much so thought we best take the more unusual method so he had more control and it seemed to help a lot!
