Would would like to join me in this dreaded wait?!

I am officially 1dpo 😁

I have sore nipples and tender boobs already 😫

I am not getting my hopes up of getting pregnant but fingers crossed anyway!🤞🏻

I'm starting tww today. We are in this together. Good to know someone else is at the same point as me. The other posts all seem to be slightly ahead. Smile

Ovulating today I think! I have a 2.5 year old, so excited to start this again ❤ this is our first month of trying!

Good luck ladies!

@Blissywiss good luck! 😁
Have you got any children already?

A little about me:
27 almost 28
TTC baby 1 for 2 years.
Irregular cycles, irregular ovulation and a blocked fallopian tube.

@bluemints Aww is your 2.5 year old a girl or boy?
Good luck!

@EssJayyCee I don't have any children no. Although I don't like to admit this through fear of being judged and others opinions, I had two terminations when I was a teenager. It was the right decision for me yet has now led me to fear that I'm going to have issues conceiving. Kind of how I ended up on here really.

So this would be my first time TTC.
My partner has two children from a previous relationship.
I am 27, 28 next month.
I think I ovulated yesterday so today is my first day of the TWW give or take. I had my copper coil removed just over 1 month ago.

Wow thank you for sharing, nice to have someone the same age as me.

@Blissywiss No judgement here hun. That time wasn't right for you and that is okay.
Try an keep positive about trying to conceive though. If you stress about the what ifs your body will be stressed and make it difficult.
I think that is part of my problem. Because its been so long trying I'm stressed with it all.

I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks in January I was distraught. I am finally beginning to feel a bit better about it.

You are about a month older than me then. I am 28 at the beginning of July 😊

It will be good to have someone who is my age to talk to!

@EssJayyCee Bless you! Must have been so hard. I can only imagine how you must have been feeling. Good on you for carrying on!

I am doing my best not to worry. Just trying to take it as it comes. Sometimes easier said than done though.
How are you managing on a monthly basis with it all?

Good luck everyone!! X

Hello @Little11 👋🏻

It is so much harder for me because my cycles are all over the place. One cycle will be able 36 days the next will be 50-60 days. I've had them ranging anywhere between 15 and 72 days.
I just have to monitor everything as much as I can BBT, OPKS and plenty of BD-ing.

Since my miscarriage I have been even more determined.

I am in the process of getting help as well but COVID-19 has put a holt on that!

@essjaycee it's a boy, he is amazing 😊 I'm 27 too! Looks like I'm the baby of this thread as I turned 27 in feb haha!

@blissywiss bless you no judgement here! My SIL has had 2 abortions and she has had 2 children now as well, she fell very quickly with both! Hoping you get your baby soon ❤

@bluemints Aww how cute. We are all similar ages though that's good! Whenever I speak to people on here they are either alot older or alot younger than me so this is good age range! Grin

Thank you, it was devastating. It hasn't helped much that my sister was 3 months pregnant at the time of my loss ☹ Its been so hard but I am definitely getting there now!

I am so confused with my BBT do any of you record yours? X

@essjaycee bless you, that must have been horrible for you. I'm glad to hear you are ovulating though, must be exciting for you when you ovulate so rarely??

I didnt track BBT with my little boy but I think after this TWW is done I will start tracking. It sounds weird but I find it really fun doing this whole TTC tracking stuff, it's obviously so gutting when you are trying for a while and getting nowhere but starting to test and track is exciting x

Hi can I join too Smile I'm 2dpo today.
I hate this wait, been trying for first baby since I came off the pill in October, so this is the 8th month. I'm 26 Smile
I am certain I've ovulated every month as I get a pain one side for a few hours around day 14 of my cycle, this month was quite painful I had to go and lie in bed on the not sore side! Hope that's not a sign of an issue for me.
🤞🏻 for us all this month xx

EssJayyCee · 26/05/2020 19:12

@bluemints yes it is really exciting when I actually ovulate 😁 I just wish it was more often so our chances of TTC were a bit higher!

I enjoy tracking everything. It has made me more aware of things my body is doing.

Hi @introv3rt I am 2dpo too. Fingers crossed for you! I think some people do get pain like you described so I wouldn't worry too much. x

Hello all! How is everyone feeling today? I am the most impatient person ever... In an attempt to be organised though I am thinking about buying a couple of FRER online this week? What’s the deal with the pink and blue dye again? Last time with my first my GP recommended Superdrug own brand tests as she said they were the most sensitive but I can remember how sensitive exactly...

Report
bluemints · 27/05/2020 07:15

@little11 morning! I had a really strong dream last night that I was pregnant, it was so realistic and I remember waking in the night thinking "bloody hell that felt real" lol! I dreamt my mum gave birth to twins the night before I found out I was pregnant last time, but i only ovulated 2 days ago so I'm definitely not going to be having dreams about it yet 😂

So blue dye tests are more likely to show an evap line, so definitely go for a pink dye test! Superdrug first response is definitely a good one to go for, I actually ordered a pack of early pregnancy tests (10mlU/ml is what is on the description) and got faint positives when I was pregnant with my little boy, then I walked to town and got a superdrug test and that came back stronger! I was about 10dpo I think when I took the superdrug test x

How are we all feeling? The wait is killing me and I'm only 3dpo 😂

Report
EssJayyCee · 28/05/2020 15:05

@Little11 Go for it! It's good to be prepared! I think pink dye ones are more accurate and less likely to give off a false positive.

@bluemints I had two really vivid dreams when I was pregnant last time. But not had any yet!

I am okay... 4dpo today and I can't stop thinking about it all though.
I know I won't be pregnant because I have ZERO luck but I can't stop hoping at the same time!

I need to try and forget but I just can't.

I keep thinking I keep getting little cramps/twinges in my uterus area but i don't know if I'm imagining it!

How are you all @Blissywiss @introv3rt @bluemints @Little11

Ohh sorry @introv3rt I missed you out!

@essjaycee I have everything crossed that this is your month 🤞🤞🤞 it's funny though, everyone always says it will happen when you stop trying, sounds so cliche but I got pregnant the month I stopped tracking everything 😂

Report
EssJayyCee · 28/05/2020 19:21

@bluemints Yeah I got pregnant literally weeks before the appointment I was going to be prescribed Clomid to help induce ovulation. I think because I knew I was getting help I stopped thinking about it so much.

Now I don't know when it will be because DP needs to have a Semen Analysis done but he can't because the andrology department is closed because of COVID-19 :(

Hiya girls, sorry for being absent the last couple of days. So good to read catch up on everything,

@EssJayyCee must be so hard not knowing when you are going to ovulate let's hope and pray this is your month! I'm with you on not being able to forget about everything! Pregnancy on the brain constantly

@bluemints the wait is killing me as well. I keep debating with myself when I should first do a test or if I should just wait to see if my period turns up. So difficult to work out what to do. In my head if I do a test I will just be testing fate.

@Little11 how are you feeling?

The last couple of days. Well yesterday I began having stomach cramps and majorly sore boobs today. I'm trying to tell myself that this means nothing though. Easier said than done lol
