Hi, I know there are lots of these threads, but thought I would start a new one for anyone new to mumsnet (like me) and doesn’t know which thread to try and join.

I’m 28 years old and I’m on cycle 6. I’m now 6 DPO.

Please anyone feel free to join; it’s nice to have others to go through it with.

Rach x

I'll join. 28 years old, cycle 7 also 6 DPO. I'm feeling very impatient this cycle.

Rhall26 · 10/05/2020 21:50

@bumphope2020 me too. With each new cycle, I find myself getting more impatient waiting to test.

@kim160790 not too long to go before you can test!

Hoping this is all our month x

Hi all, I'd love to join too! A bit behind the rest of you at around 2dpo. I had an ectopic in February treated with methotrexate so this is the first month I've been allowed to try again. Have got a 2y DD and am 30 (almost 31) - have any of you had any symptoms yet? I feel surprisingly relaxed about it at the moment but that could all change once I get to a point where it's possible to symptom spot 😂

@whambam89 Hi! So sorry to hear about your ectopic pregnancy. I haven’t had any symptoms yet which worries me; I’m trying hard not to obsess, but it’s very difficult. Please send some of your relaxed feelings this way 😂

Hi! 🙋🏻‍♀️
I’m 28, cycle #9 for first baby and also 6DPO, no early testing for me though, prefer to wait for AF. Good luck everyone x

Hi ladies can I join?
I'm 30yrs old trying for #1. I'm also 6/7dpo in my 4th cycle. Had a chemical miscarriage after the 1st cycle and since then my cycles have been long and frustrating (currently Cd44).

It's nice to be on a thread with people who are all similar to you dpo wise.
Xx

Can I join please? I'm 8dpo, second cycle trying for #1 and on CD 26. My cycles are normally longer than this one.
@whambam89 constantly symptom spotting here.. Trying not too though as I had it all last cycle but bfn! Baby dust to everyone! Flowers

@Rhall26 I think I'll wait to test after AF due otherwise I'll go mad on pregnancy tests 🤦🏽‍♀️. Turning 30 in July so would be nice to have a BFP before then to add to the family.

@Nat4392 I’m going to (try to) avoid early testing this month and wait for AF.

@Sausage1990 sorry about your chemical pregnancy. It seems a few of us should be testing around the same time.

@kim160790 ah, this would be perfect timing for your 30th!

@Pol96 welcome! I symptom spotted like mad last month and convinced myself I was so the BFN stung more. It’s difficult not to though 🤦🏻‍♀️

@pol96 we were trying for around 5 cycles before my ectopic and I symptom spotted every single month haha, would drive myself insane! Trying a much calmer approach this time but we'll see how long that lasts 🙈

whambam89 · 11/05/2020 10:07

@Rhall26 no symptoms can sometimes be a good sign! With DD1 I was so adamant that I wasn't pregnant because I had no symptoms then got the darkest BFP on the day AF was due. Fingers crossed for you 🤞

I was due my period between Saturday and today... I've got sore boobs and slight nausea. I'm trying to hold off testing, as last month I was convinced I was pregnant and wasn't :(

bumphope2020 · 11/05/2020 10:43

I've had different symptoms every month and always BFN. This month I feel very tired and thirsty, which after much googling means I'm either pregnant or have diabetes. I think Google's top result should be "if you're TTC stop scrolling, it's all in you're head and you need to step away from the computer".

@BatmanBaby that sounds promising! Let us know if you test!

@bumphope2020 google is the worst for symptom asking. Especially as so many are PMS symptoms too. Our bodies play cruel tricks on us!

Thanks - just trying to hold out, don't want to be really down by getting a BFN :(

Also coffee seems to be making my feel more nauseous...no idea if that's a symptom...driving myself mad lol

Every time I notice something I'm telling myself it's probably nothing.. And then I start the googling! Hopefully this is a lucky thread for all of us!
@BatmanBaby sounds promising fingers crossed for you

@batman baby sounds really promising, the coffee thing sounds like an aversion!

Report
BatmanBaby · 11/05/2020 13:39

Arh, I always thought with an aversion, just the smell would also make you feel nauseous?! I like the smell of the coffee, but if I drink it my nausea seems to be kicked up a notch or two!

Hi all, hope ok to jump on! I'm currently 10dpo, did an internet cheapie this morning but no hint of a line. @kim160790 did you test in the afternoon then? I've heard that SMU can be better than FMU so now not sure which to use tomorrow?!
