Clearblue advanced digital confusion!

I started using the clearblue advanced digital ovulation tests on cd8 and testing with FMU, my cycle is usually 28 days . I’m now CD12 and still getting a blank circle Sad I’m so confused because all 3 of my apps (yes I know, I’m not sure why I need 3 either!) that’s fertile windows differ by a day or two all now say I’m in my fertile window, I’m getting twinges in my ovary and I’m sure I had a bit of EWCM yesterday. Is it possible the tests are wrong and I am ovulating or about to, I thought I’d be getting the flashing smiley by now?! I’m so confused and after months of TTC I don’t want to miss an opportunity just because these tests are wrong!

Hi @irishblondie - I've been using them for a few months, and for the first couple of months, I had 6 days of flashing before I got peak. However that shortened in the month or two after, and in my most recent month, I didn't get any flashing - it went straight to peak. I don't think the tests are wrong (as it always seems to show peak when I expect it to), I think perhaps my cycles just vary with different amounts of estrogen peaking at different times (the flashing tracks estrogen). If you think you're in fertile window, I'd dtd regardless and keep tracking to see what it says over the next few days.

Thank you @Luz192 that’s helpful Smile do you test first thing in the morning?

Hi not sure if this will help or not but my cycles were between 30-32 days. I didn’t get high fertility until day 15 and then ovulated on day 17. I always tested first thing in a morning.

I used them last month for the first time, my cycles are normally 28-31 days. Last month I got AF on day 29 & my peak solid smiley face was on CD17. A lot of people find they ovulate a lot later than their apps say they are, including me & my app. It always says I'm going to ovulate earlier than I do, so don't worry x

@Irishblondie Hi! Just keep testing, it will happen. I agree if you getting other systoms of EWCM no harm in DTD just incase that's what I did this month.

My 1st month using Clear blue. I had 3 blank faces before I got a flashing smiley and then another 5 flashing smileys before I got my static peak smiley. Turns out I ovulated at day 18 and I'm also on a 28 or 29 day cycle. Every other app said I was past my peak 🙈 so just keep on testing 🤞

I usually get my peak in the afternoon rather than the morning. This morning I got negative in both my digital and cheapies but knew I was having ovulation pain so retested after holding pee and tested around 4pm and got my static smiley face and positive on cheapie :) maybe try testing a couple times a day over ur fertile window
