2years and counting success stories

Hi so I've been trying for just over two years. Always wanted like 4 kids. But now I'd be grateful for one. Just want to know people success stories really to give me hope xx

2.5 yrs to conceive my first. Had started fertility investigations. Positive test 3 days later. 😊 Ds1 was born.

Then........9 months later, I was still bf a LOT, co sleeping a lot, on the mini pill. Drs once. Pregnant. Ds2 was born 18.5 months after ds1. Happy accident.
I was/am old too. 37 with my first.

With ds1, we on my dtd twice that month, both much earlier in the month than you'd think would be successful.

Nearly 3 yrs with number 2 - had also started fertility investigations. I was 41 when dc2 was born. Shagging to the calendar was grim! Good luck.

I got pregnant with DS a few months after the 2 year mark when I was basically resigned that it would never happen.
We had recently bought a one bed flat.

3 years to the month here. Had an unsuccessful round of IVF, was gearing up for another one when we found out I was pregnant. We were unexplained infertility and did that really annoying thing of having drunken sex once in a month and got pregnant. We'd given up trying to conceive naturally so I wasn't very healthy and my cycle had been all over the place for about 6 months (post IVF).

I may have got a little more than tipsy around the time of implantation.
Not that I'd recommend it, but some people report finding out they were pregnant shortly after being drunk.

Similar to PP, over 3 years and had started the ICSI pathway due to Male factor infertility.

All of a sudden pregnant with our 1st.

Now onto 4th baby, all naturally conceived, and neither we nor our doctors quite know how...(except for the obvious sex thing!).

TBH I'd probably have gone with ivf earlier, rather than wait 3 years of heartbreak, but we got there in the end. It's just a horrid time, feeling it might never happen

@Lweji I was basically drunk from the moment of conception (my birthday) to getting my BFP (just before Christmas) due to an endless stream of birthday/pre Christmas celebrations. I didn't realise I had morning sickness because I just presumed it was a constant hangover.

DS1 took 2 years and 8 months to conceive after conceiving 2nd month with DD.
DS2 was conceived while still bf when DS1 was 10 months!
DTD every other day between cycles with DS1

@Fae28 I was just taking folic acid. I can't take the usual conception vitamins due to the iron. I had also given up, wasn't tracking anything. But I do remember the days we dtd (CD 6 and 8) and (tmi....) I also remember that I didn't feel the "goods" come out til much later, whereas often it was exiting almost immediately.
