How long after pain in the ovaries does ovulation occur? Confused.

I’m confused about my ovulation day. I had a positive OPK on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning. I had very strong ovulation pain in both ovaries on Thursday all day. We DTD Tue, Wed, Thu but not after. I would have thought my ovulation day was Thursday but my natural cycles apps says Saturday given the temperature swings. Can someone please help with understanding the exact ovulation day? I hope we didn’t miss our chance!

I would agree with your app, I am usually crampy a few days before Ovulation. The test strips from Amazon are a great & cheap way to keep track (currently using them as natural contraception)
