Cervix check - lumps

Hi all.

Before I go into this I know that I need to speak with my dr but given it’s a Saturday, I’m just posting for advice until I can contact them Monday.

I’ve recently started doing a cervical check to help with tracking my ovulation. Last night I checked and everything seemed fine. We then had sex.

This morning when I woke up; I went ahead with my cervical check but was met by 2 hard lumps (with a bone like feel to them). I can’t feel my cervix at all, just these lumps and then space above them, guessing my cervix is too high up to feel.

But these lumps, I’ve never felt them before. They are to the back of the vaginal wall (when laid down they are down towards to bed). They are both quite hard, not too far in from the opening. There is no pain or irritation. I only noticed because I was looking for my cervix.

Could it just be irritation after sex? I’m so worked up and feel sick that it might be something serious. I can’t stop thinking about them.

They definitely weren’t there last night.

Hoping someone has experienced something similar and can help.

Thanks x

Hi. I have noticed this a couple of times and panicked at first. Mine felt like just a hard wall. Was like one or two lumps though hard to explaim.I only feel it at certain times in my cycle though. I had a private smear and the doctor checked all inside with her fingers and said everything was perfect. So i dont think you have anything to worry about. I still feel mine every now and again whilst checking my cervix however if you are worried id get checked out for peace of mind xx

@Trying2019 thanks for telling me of your experiences. It sounds very similar. They lumps are more toward the front and luckily don’t feel to be on or near my cervix xx

You're welcome. Im sure its fine. Mine changes constantly. After sex, different times of the day after the toilet. Yes mine was more the feel of my vaginal wall ( if that's actually what its called 😆) rather than anything else xx
