Late period-negative test

Hi everyone, newbie here,

I was wondering your experiences on having a late period with negative test.
I am currently 5 days late, I am like clock work with 28day cycle. I took a test after a niggle of feeling a bit bloaty in my stomach and boobs, with slight cramping like a period is on it's way but hasn't come.
The thing is the probability of me being pregnant is against the odds. My partner works away so the last time we had sex I was on my period so we used condoms (correctly)
We had a lot of sex during my ovulation period, but then I had a period like clock work, it was a bit lighter and lasted 6days rather than 3-4.
I'm very confused, I have never missed or Ben late for a period but I'm testing negative. What could cause it?

I’m in the same boat. I normally have a 23/24 day cycle and am on day 29 and had a negative test this morning.

I’m 10 days late. Have a 26/28 day cycle. AF have only ever stopped when pregnant.
I’m still breastfeeding but I got AF back 6 weeks after birth and have been like clock work since.
Only feeding 3 times a day now too. I’m really confused

Hi ladies, hope you don't mind me jumping on thread!
I'm 5 days late but have done 2 pregnancy tests and both negative. I've got quite tender breasts which I don't normally get when due on.
I did have a miscarriage back in December but have had a normal period since and been scanned so I am all ok and back to normal down there.
My question is, has anyone had multiple negative pregnancies but in the end been pregnant?

My AF turned up this afternoon. I did this before I got my BFP last February. My LG is now 6 months, we are trying again so could be interesting to see if I get positive test next week, as that’s what happen to me last time.

Just did the Superdrug “early detection” test and BFN!!!! CD 32, normally have a 23/25 day cycle!!!

I’ve started taking vitamin D3 supplements and wonder if this has something to do with it.

Slight update I'm 9 days late and still no signs of AF showing. The only other thing I've noticed is I've become much drier down there. Not feeling stressed and I have previously been checked and cleared for Pcos, endo and thyroids working.
Going to wait another week before asking the Dr.

I’m 11 days late today (CD43) lots of cramping over the last week but no sign of AF. Had 4 BFPs but did have 2 positive OPKs about a week ago so no idea what’s going on!

I’m also 1 week late on CD35 and always on time. I’ve had 2 BFNs but still lots of symptoms. This has never happened before and wish I knew what was going on

@SammeB I had a tiny bit of pink when I wiped last night and my cervix has gone hard so think AF may be on her way

I don't check my cervix often enough to notice a change but mine is so high up I can barely feel, but it is hard. No idea if that means AF is coming, but I hope something happens. Still feeling a it crampy, stuffy nose and generally just a bit off. Driving me slightly crazy trying not to over think about it.
How often do you check your cervix?

Hi everyone, I’m jumping on this thread as I think I may be going mad! I am now 13 days late on my period, I have never ever been late on my period if anything it comes a day early. I don’t feel stressed at all, if anything being at home has made me more lazy. I have done three tests now, and all are BFN I don’t have any major symptoms except minor cramps, few headaches, and falling asleep right away whereas before I would lie in bed looking at my phone but now I sleep as soon as I put my head on the pillow.

I did a test this morning being 13 days late now and it was a BFN, I’m going to do a test every Saturday until my period is due on 3 May, and if still no AF on 4 May then I’m going to the Docs to find out wth is wrong with me!

I've just tried using the online GP service for my area and it says I will get a call or email by Tuesday evening. Hoping the Dr can shed some light. Feeling pretty certain that I'm not pregnant now (unfortunately) and am keen for AF to show! I have one more Clear Blue which I will use in a couple days time (14days late)
Anybody had any good news?
I've been reading forum after forum about the situation, seems like a lot us ladies go through it but doesn't seem to be any explanation as to why. It's all very frustrating

I've had this before. I was 5 days late before AF due, then a period 3 weeks after instead of 4? But then back to mormal after that.
Im now 6 days late and wondering whats going on!

I’ve got my period now - it was ten days late. I had just started taking vitamin d supplements and apparently it can change you cycle.

@Sammeb I'm in the same boat I am currently 3 weeks and 3 days late for af I got a bfp on a frer it was faint but deffo there and pink did a test the next day and got a bfn! I've had a blood test done to check my hormones with the gp I would love to follow this thread to hear what your gp thinks! I've been quiet sick and nauseous I've also had bad back pain sore boobs and cramping on and off since my af was due!

@Redmarchingband Yes its very frustrating!! I keep checking everyday if AF has arrived, it is difficult to keep doing tests and seeing BFN and its expensive! I wonder if late periods are common at the beginning of TTC as I have never been late since I was a teenager and I am now 32 and I have just started TTC. Still no AF and I don’t want to tests until end of the week to avoid disappointment.
