Is this a positive ovulation test?

Is this positive? The one nearest the camera. Or should it be darker?

I’m not sure they ever get darker than this for me but I know on the packet it says it needs to be as dark as or darker than the control line. Thank you.

Not yet, nearly.

Looks very close, keep testing once AM and once PM. Need to be equal darkness or darker.

Thank you both. I am worrying now that I never get one darker than that...

As in in previous months! I got my EWCM yesterday. I will test again tonight as suggested by @mamaAJ

Personally, I'd test again at 12, 3, 6 and 8 (but I was a bit crazy ttc 😬) so as not to miss the surge. I got pregnant twice using these. I think it's safe to say that you can dtd now anyway.

Haha OK thanks @Chanel05 I’ve never thought of doing them more than once a day! We DTD last night. I’m just worried because I’ve been a few months trying and I don’t remember on previous months ever getting a properly dark test.

NEarly there!
I test twice per day when I’m that close - the first pick here was about 2pm (nearly there) and then at 8pm (positive, I think! 😂)

I just did one and it was lighter than this morning!

If mine never get properly dark, does it mean I’m not ovulating?

@PeterPipersPepper how long a urine hold had you done? There's a chance you surged between this morning's and this evening's. You can surge multiple times in a cycle before ovulating too.

When close I used to do one in the morning and one about 2pm! I'm sure I read somewhere that it was a good time to do it....I can't remember where (unhelpful sorry) but I am 17 weeks pregnant now - used OPKs for two cycles x

@Chanel05 I hadn’t really stopped myself from going to the loo - probably about two hours since I’d last been. Am I right in saying you’re not meant to use first urine of the day in case you get a false positive?!

I wouldn't worry OP. I never or very rarely get a true positive on the IC ovulation sticks because I can only test once a day. They get darker, then they get lighter and I know I ovulated in between.

@PeterPipersPepper they say that but when I got a positive on cheapies in mornings I knew it to be accurate. I temped and did opks along side it for 16 months to confirm.

Thanks @Literaryseed I think I’m just overthinking like you do when you’re TTC and driving yourself mad!

Thanks @Chanel05 I might start temping from next month.

Make sure it's been at least three hours since you last went to the toilet and try not drink anything during that time also. You'll get your most accurate result that way.

Thanks @willithappen I didn’t know any of that - glad I started this thread now.

Definitely test twice a day. It's easy to miss

No worries! I was the same. I drink quite a lot during the day and always thought my lines were faint/struggled to catch my peak but when I started doing the above I was getting better results.
Here's one of my super strong lines I got doing it this way.
