Confused by my cycle this month?

I’ll try to keep this as short as possible. Me and my partner have been trying for a baby for nearly 7 months with no luck. My cycles are around 34 days and I usually ovulate around cycle day 20.

My last period only lasted 3 days and was only heavy for two days. I started having obvious cramps CD7 through to CD10 which I found strange because ovulation was still a while away. CD15 spotting/light pink discharge which I only saw once and was gone. Had cramps again from CD16 to 20 (usual ovulation day) opks positive on CD19 and in the morning on day 20.

From CD25 I’ve had tender/swollen breasts, metallic taste in mouth, food tasted off, muscle aches and headaches, slight nausea and extreme fatigue. Started having slight cramps again just now and tested negative with an frer today. AF due in 6 days.

I’m just confused about the spotting and cramping I had earlier on in my cycle despite positive opk on usual ov day?
Has anyone else had anything like this? Is it possible that I did ov earlier but opk still positive after 5 days? Kicking myself for not starting opks earlier in my cycle now.
