1st fertility appt - north east england

Hello, me and my partner have our first fertility appt tomorrow. Was wondering if anyone could tell us what to expect?

I know they are going to tell me to lose weight as my BMI is over 30. However I really struggle with weight loss...i seem to loose a few pounds and then my weight just sticks. Wondering if it is to do with my pcos. Really hoping they don't just tell me to go away and lose weight!

They might do. I know a couple who have been told they won't do anything until she loses at least 3 stone and him 5 stone.

They'll likely ask you both to do some tests, SA for your partner and then blood tests for yourself and an internal vaginal scan to check how everything is looking.

Based on those initial test results would depend what other tests they may go on to do.
