My first baby i got a BFP at 8dpo and I'm 10dpo now with nothing I'm feeling really disappointed. Has anyone had a later positive with their second baby? Or am I out?

You could have ovulated/implanted later this time.

Wait until your period is late then test. Far less worrisome and anxiety-inducing.

The two won't be related at all - it's got to do with when the sperm meets the egg add then how long it takes to implant in the womb +another few days before the hormones build up to a detectable level in your urine. I've read implantation can occur as late as 12DPO so you could still have another 5 days before a BFP shows up! :)

@Bezalelle I know when I ovulated but not sure when I implanted although I did have sharp pains in my right abdomen at 5dpo🤷🏼‍♀️ if that was the case though I would've got a BFP by now. I'm hoping implantation happened a little late!

Second time seemed longer and I wasted lots of pregnancy tests!

It's hard to wait but as PP have said wait until the day your period is due (or a bit later if you can manage it) and test then, ideally on your first wee of the day.

Fingers crossed 🤞
