Anyone Testing on 29th/1st March

The OPK tests are back under the sink gathering dust (hopefully forever) and the FRERs will be dusted off on the weekend of the 29th/1st March as I will be 10/11DPO then and I will start testing.

I spent last month symptom spotting like mad, this is my second month (for baby number two) so I've learned in a healthy way not to obsess over every twinge and boob ache as last month was BFN and so now I think this will be more peaceful!

So the plan is to wait it out peacefully and enjoy the break from scheduled sex and test from the 29th! Anyone care to join for a flurry of pics and line eyes and celebrations!

af due on the 29th for me. really want to hold off untill then, this is my third month ttc (baby number 2) and i am also trying not to symptom spot like madGrin but the last day or 2 have been getting sore-ish boob, cramps and some sharp pains around ovary area and now today have a very tender stomach. really not going to read to much into it though as had many "symptoms" last 2 months too lol

Welcome @Lexie365 yes I'm truly
Not symptom spotting this month as for me it's a waste of time! My charting app notes look like this

TTC Month one - OMG so many symptoms. BFN
TTC Month two - ah same symptoms as last month, AF must be on its way. BFP
Baby
TTC Month One - so many symptoms I must be pregnant! BFN
TTC Month Two - TWW begins now just enjoy the ride and get to at least 10 DPO before testing... pay no attention to ovaries womb boobs or emotions.... countdown to the 29th!

Hello! There’s at least a couple of us testing around the 29th on the Feb bus part two if you’d like to join x

bernardswatchplease · 19/02/2020 16:06

Oh good I will take a look, I usually avoid the bigger monthly bus groups as people are testing at all different times and with my slightly long irregular cycles it was disheartening seeing everyone peak on OPKs much before me!!

@bernardswatchplease I know exactly what you mean. My cycles are 28-45 days, irregular and usually longer than shorter.
Great name!

Fingers crossed 🤞🏼
I will be testing around the same time also I think as I'll be around 10dpo although I am going to try and hold out for af on the 4th if I can!

Lots of baby dust sprinkled xx

I just got my peak on OPK so I'll most likely ovulate tomorrow! I'll probably test on the 28th and I'll be 8dpo. That's when I got my BFP with my son🤞🏻

Great to find some buddies!

How long has everyone been trying? Anyone feel like this is a positive month in terms of trying and getting good BD in on time?

@bernardswatchplease

This is our first month trying for our second baby! We conceived first month with our son so I think I'm expecting great things when in reality it probably won't be that wayBlush

@bernardswatchplease I'm feeling very positive as DTD lots around ovulation and before, legs in the air for half an hour each time, prenatal vitamins, cut out caffeine and alcohol completely so I have everything crossed!!

bernardswatchplease · 20/02/2020 21:59

Good to hear everyone feeling positive!!

My only regret was not DTD the day after ovulation which was the day I saw my temp spike. That's probably the only thing that wasn't 'textbook' this month! I also ovulated a little later than expected due to a tummy bug so I won't be too flat if it's not our month!

I use an app to track DTD and temperature rises and am now on 7DPO. My chart looks so lovely and I just can't help but get my hopes up looking at my chart!
I really hope I get good news on Saturday morning!!!
How is everyone feeling as test day approaches, has any caved and done an early test?!

Hi everyone, hope it's okay to join in.
I'm roughly 9dpo. Trying for my 2nd baby. My ds wasnt exactly planned so didnt symptom spot etc as didnt know I was pregnant until I missed af and had no symptoms at all. Been trying for nearly a year as came off depo so has taken my body a while to adjust.

Over the weekend I had brown/pinkish spotting which I've never had before. Yesterday and today I have had right sided pelvic pain and also cramping and back pain.

Going to test on the 29th/1st......fingers crossed for us all xx

I'm so tempted to test. It sounds strange but sometimes if I test early and get the BFN that I know I see... it clears my mind and stops me constantly wondering all day! I'm 9DPO tomorrow (too late to use first morning urine today!) and I am so tempted to test!
I only have one FRER left I may ask my husband to hide it!
When is everyone going to do their first test?

I have a gut wrenching feeling that af is gonna arrive rather than BFP 😥 gonna test on sunday morning though but not hopeful. What about everyone else? X

I really really don't think this is my month either. I've got absolutely no indication and nothing to suggest I'm pregnant. I feel gutted as my next fertile time would be pretty much a Christmas Day baby and I'd always wanted to avoid that. And then if I do decide to avoid that (not made my mind up) then it will be a Jan baby potentially and then the gap between my children is getting bigger than I ever wanted it to be. I'm really feeling flat and just almost want to see the BFN to put my mind at rest and to reset expectations.
How is everyone else?

@bernardswatchplease I also feel the same. Been ttc for a year. My ds is 3 in august and dont want a massive gap between him and his sibling. Feeling quite low at the moment too if it's going to be a BFN I just want it over and done with to then move on to the next cycle. The tww is the pits 😥 x

@Fiona2504 I really know how you feel. If I had an absolutely selfish head on I'm loving being a mum to one toddler and the interaction gets better and more fun daily! I am getting more independence back and work is getting smoother too.
But I (personally) feel a need to give her a sibling with a small'ish age gap and so I have put pressure on myself and as months goes by I feel it's her not me I'm letting down!

Also the TWW wait makes me irrational. So far I've avoided a very long soak in a boiling bath because that makes me nervous, I'm trying to avoid junk food and alcohol and stress!
If I get a BFN this weekend I'm having Bath and Beer at the same time!

I'm home alone. It's DPO 10. I've got very diluted urine as I've drank lots of fluid (so very far away from the ideal FMU)
I have one single FRER left on my bathroom shelf.
And I'm so so desperate to test. But if I do and get a BFN I've got not decent FRERs left to try tomorrow morning with.
Please.
Somebody.
Stop.
Me.

Reaches for biscuit tin instead aaarrgghhh

Don't do it @bernardswatchplease

I stupidly did a test this evening and I'm only 7/8DPO!!!!

Obviously a BFN as it's way too early but what a waste of a test 🙄

Save it for Sunday morning I would! When is AF due?

Hey,
Can I join please. TTC #4 (I know am crazy but I'm Irish so it's pretty normal over here lol)
I have DS 8, DD 6 and DS 5.
I only came off my pill in January so this is my first cycle so I don't have a clue what my cycles are like.
I think I ovulated on the 17th/18th but not really sure. I tested yesterday @ 10dpo (I think) and it was a BFN. I don't have any symptoms. I had really sore boobs last week and I don't remember having that around ovulation but that's all settled. Had some cramps on Tuesday/Wednesday but have a feeling I'm out this month.
