I saw a thread about this back from 2019, a few people noticed their resting heart rate started to increase steadily after ovulation and they got there bfp. (Although people did report it rose then dropped before AF)

Just wondering if anyone on here has tracked and got a definite bfp?

I'm currently 10dpo and my heart rate has jumped from 60bpm to 67bpm since ovulation.

Not sure when my period is due as they are irregular.

Attached my chart too!

Yes my heart rate increased before getting a positive, I miscarried at 7 weeks and it picked up that too

It rose by a few beats per minute I got my BFP on the 31st December. I miscarried on the 21/22 January.
I ovulated on day 20 of my cycle which was around the 14th December

This is interesting. I ovulated on the 28th December. This was my HR and I got my BFP on the 8th.

@Kona84 @BeingATwatItsABingThing

Thanks guys, interesting to see the correlation. I'm sure there will be people it doesn't ring true for but hoping I get my bfp soon too!

Fortunately I only checked in hindsight so I wasn’t dwelling on it.
I might watch it in the 2ww for curiosity but going to have to not look at it throughout the pregnancy I think I’d worry too much

I track my RHR. It starts rising after ovulation and then drops the day before my period. When I was pregnant twice last year it continued to rise. I had a mmc with both of those and knew something was up when my RHR dropped again.

I wish I didn’t know this now. I’m obsessively checking it every day...

Mine plateaued for 3 days like it did last cycle before dropping but today when I've checked it's gone up 1bpm :O
Along with a few other symptoms and having really vivid dreams that I get a bfp I really hope these are all good signs

I’ve officially taken the Fitbit off. It’s annoying because it’s my watch but the stress it was causing me was too much. I’ll put it back on after my 12 week scan.

I’ve been watching mine since I started getting positives on opks.
Last week it was consistent.
I got a peak ovulation on Wednesday 19th and my heart rate increased from 65resting to 66resting and now it’s sitting around 69.
I’m excited because when I check back to December when I conceived the same happened.

@BeingATwatItsABingThing I don’t blame you for taking it off. I will be doing the same if I get pregnant again.

So I've been watching this thread for a while, I've noticed that my resting heart rate peaks when I'm about to ovulate, then it drops once ive ovulated and then starts to rise again until AF and then drops when AF has started.
I'm due AF in about 3/4 days and as I would expect resting heart rate had been increasing, but this months it's already gone about 2bpm higher than last months highest... and I'm still supposed to have a few days until AF. I'm hoping it's a good sign but I will update when I know either way.

@Alicespring what happened in the end?

Report
Kona84 · 22/02/2020 20:39

My RHR has stayed at 68bpm I’m currently 2DPO. I hate waiting.
To help deal with the miscarriage I put together a journal. And yesterday I did a page on RHR. At the moment my HR is like my last DPO
