Why is it so impossible to just relax and forget about it until AF does or doesn't (hopefully doesn't!!) show up....

If anyone else is around the same timing as me would be lovely to have some tww buddies x

I'm 3DPO and know exactly how your feeling! It's on your mind constantly!

Waaaay to early for any symptoms but I still google each DPO every day 🤣

I'm either 6 or 7 DPO today. I managed to contain it mostly during the week as I was working but now it's the weekend there are fewer distractions. I just want to know.

But given my age (40 plus), even when I do get a BFP, I won't have any expectations that it will result in a baby. So I could be in the same state of limbo for months.

Are you both ttc your first baby?

Crossing everything and sending baby dust to us all x

Yep I'm TTCing #1. With a donor. Long story but maybe if I end up on this thread for months I can tell it in instalments!

Hopefully none of us will be here that long @bitheby!!
I'm ttc my first as well. Never thought it would be so all consuming. Every time I say to myself I'll forget about it now until AF time but then I'll feel a new twinge and I'll be back on google!!

I have IBS so can't even get excited about twinges as I have them all the time anyway. Am hoping these twinges are reproductive and not digestive system twinges.

I was on the pill for about 15 years and coming up to 6 months off it now, so I suppose I'm still not used to what my 'normal' is. I'm just praying every day that this is it. If I am pregnant I would be due around the time of my mother in laws anniversary- hoping that is some sort of sign that shes looking after us from wherever she is!

Hi Ladies,

I have been reading for a while but never posted. Came off my pill in October, took a few months for AF to arrive and still not regular. Been using OKPs to track ovulation.

This is our first official month TTC and I think I am about 3dpo...

I can't stop googling and reading up on things!

I'm good, I swear I can feel twinges in my lower left area. Like a poking feeling but then again that could totally be my imagination. It's good a playing tricks on you 🙈 as I think it's too early to notice anything at all.

How are you feeling?

Fifol · 08/02/2020 13:33

@GeLe I had a few small twinges the last two days and a but stronger this morning. Other than that nothing really. Boobs a teeny bit sore but that's pretty normal at this time of month regardless of whether pregnant or not, as far as I know.

It's more my mind that's anxious now!

Were you on the pill for a long time @GeLe? I was on it for half my life! I actually came off it last september so similar to you but my periods became regular from the next cycle really apart from a 50 day cycle last month. I used the clearblue ovulation test with the smiley faces this month in case I had another long one but all seemed to happen as expected!

Yes...I was on the pill for about half my life too. I didn't get a period until December, then it was a 33 DC until my next period in Jan and according to OPKs I didn't ovulate until CD 25 this time. Currently on CD 28 and AF due 21st of Feb, making this cycle 41 days approx!! I have no idea what's going on but we have been DTD as much as possible since my last AF to cover it and when I got a positive on the OPK. Apart from that, I haven't got a clue. I just need to keep my fingers crossed and see what happens.

I'm actually really annoyed because I always planned on coming off the pill around October and I remember asking the nurse if I should come off sooner to prepare for pregnancy and she said no and that as soon as I stopped things would go back to normal. On researching, I now realise that is not the case at all!! I would much rather have came off sooner and used other methods of contraception to let my body get back to normal if I had known. I guess that's my own fault though for not doing my own research at the time.

It's so hard not to symptom spot, it's all that's on my mind just now.

What age are you ? I'm 32

I have endometriosis so I get a lot of pain and twinges so I can't tell myself it's positive 😭 I keep looking out for possible implantation bleeding well this next week or so 🤞🏻

Report
Fifol · 08/02/2020 14:04

@Sadie95 endometriosis sounds awful, hope any pains you're getting are for an implantation happening!

@GeLe I'm 30, 31 next month. I think coming off the pill everyone is different. As I said I had a period 32 or 33 days after coming off it and cycles have been between 29 and 33 days since, bar last month. Having said that I dont know if that even means everything is working properly since then but can only hope it is.

Everywhere I look it seems people are announcing their pregnancies. It's probably just that I'm more sensitive to it now I suppose!

@sadie95 I hope it's implantation. Fingers crossed for you.

@fifol yes everyone is different I guess. Totally agree though, I feel surrounded by pregnancy announcements. Fingers crossed for all of us too 🤞

I'm hoping next week I can start noticing things more clearly...

I'm either 5 or 8dpo, FF changed my ov date to last Monday for no apparent reason after previously putting it as last Saturday the day I had a positive opk. Month 21 of ttc had 3 cps since last year. Feel super negative to be honest.

@Fifol I'm ttc #2 ,,, dd wasn't easy and the bfp took my by surprise!

@Whyhaveidonethis My positive OPK was last Saturday too. Because of my age I hope I ovulated the same day but my apps all pushed me on a day until Sunday. So I’m either 6 or 7 dpo.

How is everyone feeling? I'm 5 or 6 dpo now...I think! Nothing to report symptom wise. When are you all thinking of testing? xx

Fifol · 10/02/2020 13:46

Hello @MrsCl19 @GeLe I think I'm 7 dpo now. Haven't really felt anything much in the last couple of days. Don't think I'll ne testing for another week or so. I would rather wait until AF is late, if I can hold out that long!

Hoe about you ladies?
