Acupuncture and reflexology - my experience

I am posting in infertility too in case any find it helpful.

So yesterday I met with a Chinese acupuncturist who specialises in ancient Chinese medicine.

I had accupuncture, he told me my womb is very cold and this is before he knew my history of miscarriage and endometriosis.
He has sent me away with some herbal tea he has made using Chinese herbs and I will see him once a week for the next four.

After doing lots of research, I found a lady local to me who specialises in fertility issues, IVF, miscarriage, PCOS, endo etc and uses reflexology and fertility massages to help relieve these symptoms and relax you.

I had my first session today and I absolutely loved it! I felt so warm inside, the foot massage was an hour of absolute heaven and she has made a detailed plan for me to help me through this mentally and physically.

I will report back in a month or so and write how I feel they’ve helped or if I feel they haven’t helped me at all and if any of you are weighing up holistic options, please feel free to ask away 💕

Thank you for sharing your experience - I looked into acupuncture earlier in the week as I've been considering it since my miscarriage in October. My only issue is that the acupuncturist said to wait 3 cycles before TTC again which scared me, as I don't want to wait. Did you receive the same advice?

I had acupuncture following a miscarriage in 2017. I found it really helpful for my own mental health (in that it felt like I was doing something positive) and very relaxing. I got pregnant again very quickly, saw the acupuncturist until 13 weeks and then went on to have a healthy baby.

Started seeing an acupuncturist a month ago as TTC number 2, and I just found out I'm pregnant.

I know lots of people don't believe in it, but I think anything is worth a try! X

I have just started having fertility reflexology too. Just got back from my second session. I’ve found it wonderful so far, even if it is possibly a load of crap TTC-wise, at least it’s a lovely hour of relaxation. The wait is on to see if it’s working...

Sorry to hear of your loss @danielasummer 💕 I haven't heard that no as I believe that acupuncture is safe during pregnancy too. I really have my fingers crossed you get your little miracle soon! xx

So happy to hear your positive story @loveacupoftea18 and congratulations! ❤️ I feel even if it isn't what it's cracked up to be, the guy I'm seeing isn't very expensive and I definitely felt relaxed afterwards so even that's worth it in itself!

Oh @Nat4392 just how wonderful is it?! So so relaxing, warming and just pure heaven. I'm a big believer in reflexology. I'm wishing you all the luck in the world 🥰
