I just thought I'd share incase anyone finds it useful - I guess my take home thoughts are that by the time you can see even the faintest of faint lines on a one step it's worth taking a FRER and you'll probably get a very clear BFP! I'm not sure I'll use one steps again when next TTC... I was being sick in the mornings before I got a clear positive on them!

Interesting! I can't see anything on the earlier one step. Was there a line in real life? They do seem to have mixed results. I have some but I'm thinking I'm better waiting until I miss a period and use frer rather than waste money on one steps, testing like a psycho before AF is due. 😂

Congratulations though!

@paintfairy the first day I thought I saw something on the one step was on 24th which is why I took the FRER, but it was the faintest line of all time - could only see it under the brightest light and at certain angles.

@Ellabella234 yeah it's so tricky - I told myself I'd wait until at least 10DPO to use the FRER, but after I saw the hint of a line on the one step there was no way I could wait!

@Mummy2wannabe2020 do you mean me? I was due AF on 29th/30th, so I got my BFP nearly a week earlier.

@bluemoom2468 sorry I clicked wrong name. Yes i was looking to see if maybe was after you were late that it became more positive. I have the same type of test and not sure if i have ovulated late or just inaccurate. I am 3 days late and had spotting for 2 days before af was due x

@Mummy2wannabe2020 I think my story is unusual - I suspect a combination of early ovulation and early implantation. One steps aren't great at picking up low levels of HCG as you can see from my pics. If I were you I would take a FRER today/tomorrow and you'll get your answer. Good luck!

I thought it would be useful to add this image to the thread to show that one steps do get dark, but they take a long time! The top test was approx 10-11 DPO and I tested almost daily to 26 DPO
