TTC number two... still breastfeeding. I temped with Baby 1 but this time going on ewcm and rise in libido! Cycles are pretty regular but slightly long at 32-35 days but they've always been like that. Periods returned when my greedy EBF baby was only 4 months and have been like clockwork. Baby is now 18 months old.

Anyone wishing to join and just about starting the 2 week wait are welcome!

Hi!

First month TTC. Ive just got fertile signs so I may have a 3ww to see as my cycles are slightly on the long side and I'm on CD 15 today.

I fell pregnant on my second month TTC last time - I also recommend pre-seed fertility lubricant!

I also symptom spot like mad! When are you going to test? @Daisydays1 I got my first BFP at 11DPO last time.

@SaharaRoxy i did a test this morning knowing it would be negative, its way too early. Especially since im not 100% sure on dates. I had my coil removed after three years in nov and i had totally lost track of when my period was due... had a weird light af mid dec and downloaded an app to try and figure it all out. That thinks i ovulated boxing day so thats all i have to go on at the moment. I have zero clue on what pms symptoms are normal for me, so for all i know the mood swings and sore boobs are just going to be a monthly problem 😂😂 will test next week if i can wait that long!!

@Daisydays1 i know, its frustrating. I already have 3 amazing tiny humans so i know im already incredibly lucky. Its my first time actually trying to conceive though, all the other times it just kind of happened. So all feels different this time!

@hatepickinganame yeah I know what you mean I have two already but would like one final baby but feels strange as when I was young I just went with the flow but now feel like I constantly analysing it all, aged 34

Im 33 this time around, youngest is 5 so it all feels shiny and new 😂 i naively thought that since id never had to try before it would just happen straight away, maybe actually ttc puts too much pressure on?

@Lizziejayne13 sorry to hear about your chemical, before joining this site i had no idea about them. Good luck for this cycle!

Hello. Can I join you ladies? 1DPO.

I had a chemical pregnancy last month which was rubbish. TTC #1, been trying since March last year. Find the whole thing quite exhausting really! Going to try not to symptom spot ha.

Fingers crossed for everyone x

Welcome everyone!

I just tried one of the super fancy clear blue OPK tests expecting to see a fertile flashy smile but I got a blank. I hope I've (obviously hope I'm ovulating) not missed it and am instead a little early. Judging on previous ttc charts I ovulate about CD 17 so maybe not ovulated yet this cycle!

How is everyone feeling about it? Stressed? Chilled?

I havent got to the idea of testing for ovulation yet, we're taking a chilled out approach to ttc, or at least he is lol. Im driving myself crazy wondering if its happened. Really didnt think i would, especially only 6 weeks into it! Now have some crampy stomach pains, but no idea if its just period pain. One week to go! I keep telling myself that if af shows up at least i know everything still works properly and ill have a better idea on cycle length. I have pcos too so no idea if thats gonna make a difference now im older...

@Hatepickinganame I actually found the planned / measured / OPK / focussed method of TTC made me feel calmer and less stressed! I liked knowing for sure I'd ovulated and also in our hectic life allowed more planning for baby making! A bit boring I suppose but really helped keep me calm!

@SaharaRoxy i think knowing id ovulated might make me calmer, i had a bit of a meltdown in december (was admitted to a&e with severe stomach cramps on my left side, checked for possible ectopic and pcos issues but all clear. They chalked it up to a bad first af after having the coil removed) and cried on my oh shoulder cause i was convinced my body wasn't working properly. I think if nothing happens for us in the next couple of months I might start checking just to put my own mind at ease!

Can I join! Trying for number two and number one is 15 months old and still breastfeeding too. Had a period since August but cycle lengths are a bit irregular. I'm 37 and terrified I'm too old.to get pregnant again! I have PCOS which caused no issues last time when I got pregnant by 'accident' bit I now also have uterine fibroids after the last pregnancy so no idea if they might cause problems. Period not due until 20th ... Xxx

Welcome
@Ktn35 I'm sure you'll be fine! Maybe track your temperature and use OPL for ovulation? I also loved pre seed and lots of my friends had success with that too. Are you using any apps to track? It's harder for me to track this time as I'm not temping and still bf through the night. I hope I'm actually ovulating!

Another negative OPK this morning. Cycle day 16 but previously when tracking for baby one I ovulated as late as cycle day 23 and my periods can last anything from 32-35 days so there's hope for me yet this month!

Thanks @sahararoxy I am on CD15 so almost exactly the same as you! I am also breastfeeding at night but I had some EWCM today so hopefully that's a sign. Having sex every other day at the moment (partner is thrilled!) So fingers crossed ...

I'm not talking temps either. If I don't get BFP this month I might start!

When will you test? Will you wait until you are late? X

Hello ladies, we are ttc #1 and in cycle 3 after a loss at 18 weeks in September. Currently nearing the end of the hideous 2ww and on cd29/ 8dpo. I started testing at 6dpo even though I know its far too early but i have been getting cramps and backache the last couple of days. AF due next week but I will keep testing every morning though. I cant help myself. Thank god they are the cheapies! Fingers crossed for us all!
