Hello ladies. I have been ttc for a long time and tried just about everything. So now ‘fertility smart’ vitamins keep popping up on my pages. Just curious if anyone has Tried them or has an opinion on them? Please help x

Hi @Carley321 👋 how are you?

I've not heard of them but just googled and looked at the ingredients and they're pricey and not sure they're much different to other fertility supplements. The one thing that stood out was its got 100mg of coq-10 - ubiquinol is absorbed more effectively, I take 200mg a day and am considering doubling my dose. I saw a recurrent miscarriage consultant this week and he was happy with me taking this plus folic acid and vitamin D. He didn't mention that I needed to take anything else.

X

I can heavily recommend ‘It stars with the Egg’. Some of it is a little ‘aghhh’ (cutting out all plastic turned out to be really hard) but actually a few of the supplement advice was spot on (bits C, D and E for example which are all pretty cheap). I can really recommend if you’re looking to improve egg/sperm quality?

Hi @VenusStarr I’m not to bad thank you. Still trying to stay sane through all this madness.

Yes they are pricey which is why I had to look into it more as I don’t trust the reviews you read anymore. I’ve spoke to the doctor and just recommended vit d and folic. But I just need to be doing more.

Hi @CL1982 I have heard of this before. But have always been afraid to try it because I don’t know if I’d become obsessed with it when it’s not always manageable. Sperm ok. Not sure on egg quality. Have had tests and I do have a blocked tube but not had an amh yet. Thanks for the reply x

@Carley321 are you under a fertility clinic now? I know you had an hsg recently. Try ubiquinol if you're worried about egg quality. I get mine from amazon for £20 a month, plus the seven seas vit d and folic acid. The consultant was happy with this and didn't recommend anything else xx

@Carley321i have to be honest I have just avoided hearing anything in plastic and now take a high strength but C/D/E and it seems to work 🤷‍♀️ I know what you mean about getting obsessed. She did a pretty good job of busting things she didn’t feel were helpful which was interesting.

@VenusStarr no not under anyone... well we have been going back and for to a private clinic. But the first time I’ll be seen by a gynaecologist on the nhs is tomorrow. It’s just so hard to know what’s best when there are so many false reviews about. I’m also scared of anything that may mess with my cycle.

Maybe I will give it a read thanks @CL1982. It’s so hard to know what to do for the best isn’t it lol.

Thanks @VenusStarr went well I think. The supplement completely went out of my head though 🙈. I’m having more bloods, and also going to be scanned over my cycle to see what’s going on and was again reassured that I am waiting for a lap. So it went ok and their doing everything to see what’s going on which is all I can ask for at the moment. He also said a little weight gain wouldn’t hurt. But this I’m struggling with, I just can’t seem to gain weight...having said this, since starting this med diet I have gained 2lb so 🤞 lol. Hope you are well?

Hi @Carley321 just wanted to say I've been taking them for 6 months and also my
DH and we've seen nothing for it. We've been ttc for 15 months and I was really excited to start these, however everyone's different so maybe it helps more the others. I'll keep everyone updated if I get a BFP.

Xxx

Hello @wabx, know I’m a little bit late. Pls any luck with fertilitysmart tablets, pls They are quite pricy so want to know from a real user. I’ve seen reviews on trust pilot and mamma.net but 80% of these are exactly the same...word to word but different user names. Kindly give feedback from your using fertilitysmart tabs

I didn’t buy them after. It’s a lot of money if the reviews aren’t genuine 🤔. Would also really like to hear if anyone has had any luck with them.

Hello Ladies, I just was looking for an info whether I can continue to take fertility smart furing the pregnancy and found your forum. I just want to admit that I was taking fertility smart only 1,5 months before I found out that we are pregnant. It is a lot of money but it worth a shot! I miscarridged in Dec 19 and now I just wanted to make sure it won't happend again as in the UK gp won't do any tests except thyroid and won't advice any suplement to concive. So I took the challange and here we are! Already 5 weeks pregnant STM and over the moon. If you can afford it, give it a go for at least 3 months they recommend. I was taking only one tablet a day and it was enough. I am 37 y o and this would be my second baby. They are working on the prenatal and postnatal drug but it is not available on their web yet. Good luck to all of you!! Fingers crossed for your pregnancies!!!Smile
