Anyone around 5dpo and want to wait with me?

The dreaded TWW which actually feels like it takes 2 years 😫
It's too early to symptom spot I know but I did feel a bit crampy after ovulation, a few shooting pains in boobs and a horrible two day headache over the weekend.
Also a weird feeling almost like I have the start of cystitis but I don't. Had that yesterday and it's gone now.

Anyone else around the same dpo? Let me know how you're feeling!

flm1988 Mon 07-Oct-19 09:39:59

Hi I'm about 10ish dpo I'm feeling crap, headaches,sore heavy boobs,heavy feeling in stomach which is bloated too and feel af could start any time which isn't due yet,so kind of know how you feel x

pollysproggle Mon 07-Oct-19 09:59:33

Bless you it's such a crappy time. Do you feel positive this month?
I never get any pms symptoms, period just arrives but I do get mild IBS so any cramps/bloating or twinges could be that flaring up

charlie0692 Mon 07-Oct-19 10:13:18

Hey I'm 4dpo today, af due 16th. No symptoms whatsoever yet but I know it's very early. We didnt dtd much this month so I'm not feeling very hopeful for this month xx

flm1988 Mon 07-Oct-19 10:22:45

@pollysproggle
I do then I don't and then my minds all over place then if you know what I mean? I'm getting fed up of symptom watching tbh

GloriaMaximus Mon 07-Oct-19 10:22:45

I'm 2/3dpo (working on 2 just to increase the chance of a non squinted if I've caught this month) I'm going CRAZY! I really feel this is our month but it will hurt more if it's not 😒

SMiles14 Mon 07-Oct-19 10:26:14

I am 5DPO Today and I have been driving myself crazy! I swear I had cramps over the weekend and also thought I was getting cystitis yesterday!
I'm hopeful, we did SMEP and used CB digitals so managed to cover the entire fertile period.
Good luck! Are you going to test early or wait for AF? Is this your first?

pollysproggle Mon 07-Oct-19 10:34:21

@flm1988 me too, it's all consuming but instead of trawl the internet like I did last month looking for potential signs I thought I'd try and speak to women in the same situation.
It's so unhealthy. I swear you could google 'farts smell of roses' as a pregnancy symptom and you'd find someone saying it was one for them!
@charlie0692 hello! We didn't dtd that much either but hoping when we did it was the right days.
@GloriaMaximus me too! Trying to distract myself by every time I have a spare minute I'm analysing my cycle- like anything is going to change!

pollysproggle Mon 07-Oct-19 10:43:16

@SMiles14
See, right there you saying similar symptoms makes me perk up!
Second cycle for me but last month was more 'we were on holiday so more sex than usual and didn't use anything' it was just before my fertile window so was hoping the sperm was alive for 5 days. Wishful thinking.
This month I've done opk. I bought a thermometer to temp but the bloody thing doesn't light up so scrabbling around in the dark to find light to actually see it made me flustered and definitely wouldn't have shown the correct BBT.
Not my first, I have a nearly 13 year old and a 3 year old. How about you?

LouLouB1987 Mon 07-Oct-19 11:05:02

1/2 DPO ! Will be 3 years TTC #1 next year πŸ˜” 1 failed round of IVF (1 mc and 1 bfn)

Every month is tedious and repetitive and a real blow when AF comes. So thought I'd jump in a group for this 2ww! Never done it before.

Hopefully will get to see some BFP's if not my own. Good luck everyone 😊 xx

SMiles14 Mon 07-Oct-19 11:12:55

@flm1988 I'm the same, its so exhausting! I always start off the cycle with good intentions to just keep busy and not symptom spot in the 2ww then when it comes around I turn into a woman posessed! Its so stupid but I can't stop!

@pollysproggle Ha I know, its terrible! and you can find at least one person who had the same symptoms as you at the same DPO and ended up pregnant which just makes it worse. I do wonder whether I should just stay off the forums but I have no idea if that would make it better? Its the lack of control I hate, I was the same in the 2 weeks before O! Just itching to get to the part where I can actually do something productive.
Does your thermometer have a recall function? I do mine the minute I wake up but look at the temperature later on when I am actually awake. It doesn't have a light either so this is the only way but works for me and means I can go back to sleep after taking it.

I am trying for #1, I got pregnant in April but sadly that ended in a MMC which was discovered at 12 weeks. I was so desperate to start trying again afterwards but I got ill and had shingles in August so this is the first month I feel fully healthy and ready again. I would have been due in January so I think as long as I am pg again by then I will be ok, although every event that passes it gets harder as I thought I would be 6 months now. Sorry to be a Debbie Downer, I just SOOOO want this to work!

pollysproggle Mon 07-Oct-19 12:56:24

@LouLouB1987
Sorry for your loss and sorry you're having a shit time with conceiving, I won't offer any advice as I have none and you've probably heard it all before anyway but I will say feel free to have a good moan to me if you need one.
I will have everything crossed for you! This could be your month xx

pollysproggle Mon 07-Oct-19 13:03:58

@SMiles14
You poor thing, finding out at the scan must have been awful thanks
It's good you're feeling healthy and ready to try again. Fingers crossed it happens quickly.
My stupid thermometer does have recall but you have to set the age range on it every time you use it so it's useless for tracking.
If I'm not successful this month I'll get a proper one I think as even the opk's gave me strange results.
I didn't get a true positive this month but it was almost positive on cycle day 12 at 8pm. I drink a lot and wee a lot, can never hold for 3 hours so my sample was either too diluted or I missed my surge or, I didn't ovulate.
Who knows

SazCat Mon 07-Oct-19 13:22:37

7 dpo for me, third cycle of TTC no 2!

Hopeful as used CB digital, but didn't ovulate til day 21. Been a bit all over the place since had implant out a few months ago. Took 7 months last time but I am impatient!!

dublino Mon 07-Oct-19 14:49:06

Hey gang . Do you mind if I join. I'm somewhere between about 2- 10 dpo , and that's if I even ovulated ! I suffer from pcos and this is my third round of clomid . Got bfp on my first but ended in mc. Ever since the mc my cycles have been very erratic and not following the norm. Went for ultrasound on cd10 ( last cycle of clomid we taught I ov'd very early so doc suggested getting scanned earlier) had good follicles in both but they were still a few days away and looked like I should have been good to go around cd 14. He'd from cd 13to about cd 17 and again cd 18 and cd 20 . Had loads of cm around cd 13 for about 4 days not really strong opk but that's nothing new for me. Had a big bbt drop cd 17 and a rise for two days then its stay around normal so convinced I did ov . Then cd 18 got another kind of stong opk and since sat I have had a dull pinchy pully sensation on and off in left side of overy uterus ,boobs have started to get sore today. Very bad insomnia last night and nauseous today but that more then likely due to the tiredness. Holding out hope that I popped an egg at some stage, just really dont know when!

SMiles14 Mon 07-Oct-19 15:02:31

@pollysproggle Thanks lovely, I hope so too smile
That thermometer sounds frustrating! Yes if you are not preggers this cycle I would treat yourself to a new one wink
I was the same with cheap OPKs, I never got a true positive and like you I drink a lot so I have no idea if that made a difference. The one month I got close to a positive it was at 10am and I only tested at that time because it was a weekend, I couldn't do that at work! This month I changed to CB digitals and they are sooo much easier, they show the full fertile week too so you can cover as much of it as possible. Also you just POAS in the morning then can forget about it all day. Pricey but I think worth it if you are having difficulty.

@dublino That sounds super frustrating, I hope you 'popped an egg' too! flowers it sounds positive and fingers crossed your temp stays up!

dublino Mon 07-Oct-19 15:17:51

@sMiles thanks. In my view my temp is not as high as it should be so I'm desperately trying not to symptom spot in case I never ov'd . In impossible though!! Evey little twinge or pain and I'm on to dr Google grin . I should cut myself away for the internet for these two weeks. My google search history is rediculas. Had a nightmare the other day and was googling that

Mimi91 Mon 07-Oct-19 15:27:35

Okay if I join? 6dpo today πŸ‘€ cycle 10 😫

fancytea Mon 07-Oct-19 15:44:13

@charlie0692 I'm similar to you - AF due 17th and didn't DTD much this month. Fingers crossed though, you never know!

Feeling very negative this month. Only on cycle 4 but it's still feeling like a very long time!

charlie0692 Mon 07-Oct-19 15:49:45

@fancytea I'm exact same as you. On cycle 4 now and not feeling very positive about this cycle at all. But it will happen when the time is right so trying not to get too disheartened. When will you test? I'm hoping to wait until sunday/monday to test x

dublino Mon 07-Oct-19 15:58:53

@Mimi91 I hate the wait!

NamelessNinja Mon 07-Oct-19 16:07:05

Can I join too? 9dpo today on 7th cycle. I've got a cold which actually seems to be a blessing as I can't symptom spot without blaming it on that! Did a test this morning which was negative.
I am so fed up of the TWW.

Mimi91 Mon 07-Oct-19 16:07:18

@dublino the absolute worst! I was on conception boards with people who have now had their babies, so starting to get a little impatient.

It's even worse when your cycles aren't standard. Mine are all over the place at the moment. I'm either 6dpo or 12dpo πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ who the hell knows.

dublino Mon 07-Oct-19 16:26:18

@Mimi91 thank god I'm not alone in the confusion of dpo!! Cycle so erratic this time round it could be anything. I'm gonna test next monday and every few days until af shows her ugly face .

@NamelessNinja welcome! If your 9 dpo thatsbstill quite early . When is af due ?? Maybe hold off til then

fancytea Mon 07-Oct-19 17:20:56

@charlie0692 I'm hoping to hold out until the 17th, but who knows if I'll make it! You're right it will. Trying to keep my chin up!

ShitHairDontCare Mon 07-Oct-19 17:24:07

Hey,

I'm 6dpo today πŸ‘‹ first month using CB digital OPK so 100% sure on my dates this time.

Got static smiley CD19 and DTD CD16, 17, 19 & 20 so feeling hopeful. Got my peak OPK 2 days later than usual this month so assuming AF will be due 2 days later as a result?!

Only 'symptoms' I've had so far started today, achy lower back (left side) and no CM. Looking back, I usually have creamy CM at this point in my cycle but not this month.

(Im)patiently waiting till Sunday to test. AF won't be due by then but I'll be 12dpo 🀞

pollysproggle Tue 08-Oct-19 09:13:46

@ShitHairDontCare
My CM has dried up too. Yesterday I had lots of shooting pains in my boobs that would come and go and last night I retched loads while brushing my teeth but that could just be because I had a headache which normally spells nausea for me anyway.
This morning I have a runny nose and last night had a very weird dream that one of my eyes was big and cloudy like a huge dead fish eye. WTF?

Fish eye dreams definitely mean pregnant right? πŸ˜‚

WooMaWang Tue 08-Oct-19 09:32:06

I'm sure if you google it, you'll find someone else with pregnant fish eye dreams. πŸ˜‚

I'm 8dpo today. First cycle ttc#3. My boobs feel terrible (and did yesterday) but I'm willing to believe it's purely psychosomatic.

I've had weird dreams too. Really vivid, over complex ones. No fish eyes though.

dublino Tue 08-Oct-19 09:33:51

@ShitHairDontCare @pollysproggle all mine have gone today. Yesterday I was knackered from insomnia and felt nauseous. After a great sleep last night I feel great . I'm reading way too much into every little pain or twinge

pollysproggle Tue 08-Oct-19 09:47:40

@dublino
I get insomnia too, and regular migraines and nausea throughout the month anyway so I have to exclude those as symptoms. Ugh.

@WooMaWang I'm ttc #3 too and was wondering about breast changes being hard to spot 3rd time round. After breastfeeding two they're already veiny, dark spotty nippled bags of nothing anyway so apart from the shooting pains yesterday they're no different. They never change throughout my cycle either

SMiles14 Tue 08-Oct-19 09:51:29

Hey @ShitHairDontCare I am 6DPO Today so one day behind you! I also used CB digis for the first time this month, so much simpler than trying to work out smudgy lines. Yes I believe every woman's individual Luteal phase is always the same length but your folicular can vary - so in your case if you O later than usual, your period would be pushed back too.

I'm feeling slightly nauseous this morning but I know its too early for that. I had a massive cry on dh last night because I found out that one of my friend's friends is pregnant. We were both bridesmaids for her in April and neither of us were pregnant then, and since I have been pg and had a MMC and she is now fully pg. I feel like such a D* for being sad and jealous but I cant help it, I have been fine finding out other people are pg since my MMC, but for some reason this one hit me like a tonne of bricks. It is the mutual friend's birthday on Friday and I know she (pg lady) will be there and I just don't know if I can face her and not cry with all the congratulations and pregnancy questions that will no doubt be flying around... sad Dh said I dont have to go but I'm not sure I can really skip it.

WooMaWang Tue 08-Oct-19 10:00:33

@pollysproggle Yeah. My breasts are definitely ttc#3 breasts too. πŸ˜‚ They just feel weird at the moment. Odd from the inside out. And almost... itchy on the inside (but not quite itchy).

Thing is, I had a Mirena in for a decade so I don't actually know if this is just how they'd feel in the run up to AF anyway. Or if it's something else.

I keep having too pee too. Much more than usual. DP and I drove somewhere at the weekend and I could not manage the 2 hours in the car without needing to stop and pee either time. I still needed to pee again when we arrived. But, again, maybe that's just my body readjusting to normal hormone patterns.

dublino Tue 08-Oct-19 10:23:01

@sMiles14 it's very tough. Dont feel guilty for how you feel ,its perfectly normal . A friend of mine announced she was pregnant 2 weeks after I mc back in april. Her due date is 13 days from mine. Exact same. Hot me like a tonne of bricks and I couldn't face her for a few months. Decided best thing to do was to meet up one on one with her so then I wouldn't have to listen to the 30 million baby pregnacy questions that everyone be asking . No one else pregnancy or babies have bothered me just this one.

Sunflower2019 Tue 08-Oct-19 10:43:22

Hey girls, Just been lurking and thought I’d join in as you are at the same time scale as me, I believe I’m around 7/8 dpo... as missed my surge with Opks 😭 have bought a clearblue one so maybe more accurate for next month.
I’m also on my third Lot of cystitis, woke up with it today 😫
I’m not feeling hopeful at all this month and not feeling any different x

Queenlucy02 Tue 08-Oct-19 11:16:02

Im 7dpo due 14th - my 10th month trying and had 3 miscarriages in that time. Feel fine so far this month and before iv had nausea and sore breasts starting from 5dpo so think im out this month. Sending lots of baby dust to you all! smile

SMiles14 Tue 08-Oct-19 11:19:39

@dublino Thank you for your sweet reply, and sorry that happened to you, that sounds awful. I don't know why this one announcement has got me so bad seeing as she and I aren't actually friends, but I am just letting myself feel what I feel and trying to stay positive that this is our month. The more I think about it the more I think I might have to stay away on Friday because I just think I WILL just cry when I see her and that would be a huge mood killer. I will see how strong I feel on the day I think.

dublino Wed 09-Oct-19 10:03:29

Ladies. This might be a bit tmi but just want to see if this is normal. Past few days I've had like a pinchy pulling dull cramp come and go on my left side . Not really painful or anything. Just noticable . Not exactly sure how may dpo I am as I've pcos and everything is all over the place. Had very little cm the past few days . Opk are very white . Went to loo last night and when i wiped there was a load of cm in the tissue with tiniest streaks of blood. If i ovulated when i should i wouldn't be due ad til at least Sunday. Anyone know if this is normal ??

pollysproggle Wed 09-Oct-19 10:55:46

@dublino
It could be an implantation bleed?!
Have you had any more blood or cramps today?

KaybeBlossom Wed 09-Oct-19 11:20:17

Hi new here do you mind if I join? 6dpo AF due 17th and I am driving myself insane lol!

pollysproggle Wed 09-Oct-19 11:36:34

Hi @KaybeBlossom
7dpo here and the same. I'm not feeling very optimistic today but it's still early days.
I'm not testing early this cycle either- I took about 15 tests last month which is silly behaviour. I have one test in the house and I'm saving it for the 16th!

SMiles14 Wed 09-Oct-19 12:04:51

@dublino tentatively agree and think it may be implantation, if you are due af Sunday and assuming a 14 day luteal phase you would be around 10dpo which would make sense.
@KaybeBlossom welcome! I'm 7DPO and also driving myself mad! I also really really want to hold off on testing til I'm due so hopefully we can stay strong!

KaybeBlossom Wed 09-Oct-19 12:09:18

Glad it isn't just me! This is cycle 2 for me and the amount of tests I did last month was embarrassing really and I had myself so convinced I was pregnant. So I'm trying soooo hard to leave it until AF is due but the days feel so long and slow and no symptoms yet really. Maybe a slight bit of cramping?! Do you already have children @pollysproggle @SMiles14?

pollysproggle Wed 09-Oct-19 12:24:07

@KaybeBlossom
I'm ttc #3 I have two DS's aged 3 and almost 13
I don't have many symptoms today but one thing I do have which I've completely dismissed as a symptom because it's probably madness is an incredibly stiff and sore neck. I've had it for two days and it feels like an injury but I haven't done anything to warrant it. Just came on with a headache and isn't getting better.

KaybeBlossom Wed 09-Oct-19 12:44:50

@pollysproggle aw that's lovely! I'm also trying to conceive #3 ds is 10 and dd is 7 so it's been a while since I've done this lol. So easy to hope every little thing is a symptom isn't it. Although I have also had a headache the last couple of days hmm

SMiles14 Wed 09-Oct-19 13:29:04

@KaybeBlossom I'm ttc for #1, I had a MMC in July so been trying ever since really. although this is the first month I feel healthy enough, I think the previous cycles I was a bit optimistic.
I have had niggly cramps since about 4DPO, boobs haven't grown yet though which was a dead giveaway with my previous pregnancy but I cant remember what DPO it happened. Still early days yet so I'm hopeful (but trying not to be too hopeful!)

KaybeBlossom Wed 09-Oct-19 13:30:06

Just seen 3 magpies on the roof. That has to be a sign right?!... πŸ˜‚

KaybeBlossom Wed 09-Oct-19 13:31:51

@SMiles so sorry I hear about your mmc. Keep reading lots about boob symptoms but it's not something I ever remember happening. FX for you that this is your month!!

dublino Wed 09-Oct-19 13:32:47

Thanks ladies. I'm trying not to think that it was that . The bit of blood was tiny like a drop mixed in . Nothing this morn and no real cramps so far. Trying to convince myself that I'm not so womt be horrifically upset fone mon when I start to test . When is everyone else planning to start to test

BB28 Wed 09-Oct-19 14:23:50

Hi Everyone, can I join in on the TWW? My cycles can usually be anything from 25-30 days so I am not sure exactly how many DPO I am. According to a tracking app I have been using I am 5 DPO. Its our first time TTC, I came off the pill around 3 years ago as it really didn't agree with me, but we have been carefull until recently when we decided it was time to try. I am trying not to symptom spot as I will just drive myself crazy!

pollysproggle Wed 09-Oct-19 16:08:19

I'm doing the same @dublino as don't want to get my hopes up!
Didn't stop me looking up neck pain as a symptom though- first thing I read was that it was linked to ectopic pregnancy which just proves no good can come from googling symptoms!

Welcome @BB28!
Same here, contraception free for 3 years and just used protection as the implant I had gave me really bad acne. I feel so much better for it too. I used to think I had irregular periods and also had a scan about 10 years ago which showed cysts on one ovary so thought for a time I had PCO but since being contraception free discovered my periods are actually like clockwork and a scan a year ago showed no cysts whatsoever!

XjustagirlX Wed 09-Oct-19 17:11:16

Hi can I join? I’m 3dpo so very early to the TWW. I am going to do cheap tests from 6dpo onwards. It actually helps me to do tests and I feel like I’m getting it out of my system for the day.

BB28 Wed 09-Oct-19 17:25:17

@pollysproggle the pill and implant did exactly the same to me, they just made me feel terrible! Thats great news though, had the cysts cleared up on their own?

I had the same symptoms as you yesterday I thought I was getting cystitis pains but it seems to have gone away today, strange!

pollysproggle Wed 09-Oct-19 18:16:45

@BB28
I'm assuming they did! All I know is they were there 10 years ago and now they're not. The cystitis feeling I very weird I wonder if it means anything? I've only had it once before but will never forget how horrible it feels.

Hi @XjustagirlX the more the merrier!
Let me know how you get on with the early testing, I did it last month but this time around I'm not testing until AF due date. I do have some ovulation strips lying around so will probably do them beforehand lol
With my last pregnancy I got a positive on one a few days before my bfp

ShitHairDontCare Thu 10-Oct-19 08:16:56

Good Morning All,

Sorry to have joined and then ran, had a lot going on recently.

Just wanted to let you all know that today, at 9DPO, I got my BFP πŸ˜€
I know it's early to test but it's my birthday tomorrow so wanted to know.

This is our first and we are SO happy! Fingers crossed all goes well.

Good luck to you all ❀️

CooperLooper Thu 10-Oct-19 08:40:05

Congrats @ShitHairDontCare smile

I'd like to quietly join this group as I've been lurking, but I feel a bit of a fraud (dunno why!)

Had my implant out on Saturday last week TTC #1. I've had it in for over 5 years without a single period, but curiosity got the better of me so I've tested a couple of OPKs to get an idea of when my periods would come back. DTD a few times over the last couple of days and got my first flashing smiley CB today, so assuming I've got a couple of fertile days to do the baby dance again before my long lost friend AF appears in a couple of weeks (I guess).

Technically I could test in 2 weeks? I'm completely clueless about this whole thing but also really excited and just wanted to join in.

Good luck to all x

pollysproggle Thu 10-Oct-19 08:47:02

@ShitHairDontCare
Amazing, Congratulations!! Did you have any symptoms we can mull over?
Happy birthday for tomorrow too what a great present 😁

pollysproggle Thu 10-Oct-19 08:51:54

Welcome @CooperLooper!
Don't worry, I think even if you're a pro at ttc it's still confusing. If you got the smiley then definitely do the BD

pollysproggle Thu 10-Oct-19 08:55:15

My new symptom today is ewcm that's cloudy looking 😷
I'm not sure if it's normal for me or not as I have never tracked cm but I don't think I got it last month at this time

dublino Thu 10-Oct-19 09:16:47

@ShitHairDontCare congrats!!! What a great bday present. Any stand out symptoms you have??
@CooperLooper no ones really an expert. I'm ttc 14 months now and theres always something I haven't a clue of each cycle
@pollysproggle how many dpo are you now?? Was there a lot of it

ShitHairDontCare Thu 10-Oct-19 09:25:22

Thank you ladies 😊 still can't believe it's ME posting about MY BFP!

Symptoms I've noticed over the past 9 days are:

*Heartburn (off and on)
*Sore throat (only when swallowing)?!
*Greasier than usual face
*My CM dried up CD7 and then went watery yesterday
*Couple of twinges in my lower stomach (def not as strong as cramps, felt more like wind)

The biggest one though is that I had stabbing pain on the left side of my lower back which lasted a couple of hours on CD6. I'm assuming this way implantation.

I didn't (and still don't) have sore boobs, tingly nipples, nausea (thank god) and cramps/stretching feelings. These were all things I was looking for as they seem to be commonly reported but I guess it's true what they say - everyone is different.

I have 2 more FRER which I'll use over the next few days and a CD digital weeks predictor which I'll use once I've passed AF due date.

I have my fingers crossed for all of you that you get your BFPs very soon 🀞🏼 I'll be keeping an eye out for them x

pollysproggle Thu 10-Oct-19 09:28:18

@dublino
I'm 8dpo. A fair amount, i never check my cm unless it's on the tissue but for the purposes of ttc I did my first internal check (not fun) before I went in the shower and there was lots more.

dublino Thu 10-Oct-19 09:47:13

@pollysproggle sounds around the same time I got it . Hopefully good omens . Gid I hate ttw. Had some more dull cramps on and off yesterday . A bit nauseous and bad diahoria last night and this morn but I think that's more to do with my medication

KaybeBlossom Thu 10-Oct-19 10:28:02

Congratulations @ShitHairDontCare!! Haven't noticed any changes in my cm. Did feel a bit crampy last night and I've got a terrible headache today but guess that could be anything. One week yo go until AF is due. Going to be the longest week ever!! How do you stop yourself testing early!?!

pollysproggle Thu 10-Oct-19 10:40:34

@dublino I feel generally unwell this month anyway so symptom spotting is hard. This neck pain isn't getting any better and have daily headaches because of it. I don't think it's pregnancy related at all so I'm going to the doctors tomorrow to have it checked.
I don't want to take anything for the pain just in case so I've been walking around stinking to high heaven of deep heat.
I'm not feeling particularly pregnant either but I was last month and bfn.

@KaybeBlossom I was just in tescos and browsing the tests- really wanted to buy one but resisted and bought myself a cake instead lol
I have one test at home which is for day of missed period so I'm staying strong and waiting for 16th grin

dublino Thu 10-Oct-19 10:45:04

@pollysproggle you can never go wrong with cake grin

SMiles14 Thu 10-Oct-19 11:09:58

Congrats @ShitHairDontCare what great timing! :D

I am 8DPO too and still feeling nauseous, it is definitely getting stronger. Last night I had such bad heartburn too. For those that temp I have also had a dip at 6DPO and it has gone straight back up to its highest yet. Have had a lot more CM too...

@pollysproggle I had a headache/ neck ache like that once, a daily headache that wouldnt go away. Docs didnt know what it was and I eventually went to a chiropractor who said I had slipped a disc (no idea how!) and he popped it back and it went away. Felt like a weight being lifted, it was amazing! So if Docs are no help get yourself to a chiropractor! I waited wayyyy too long to go as I wasnt very active at the time so thought there was no way I could have hurt myself in that way.

pollysproggle Thu 10-Oct-19 11:49:22

@SMiles14
Definitely! I've heard amazing things about chiropractors but never had a reason to go before.
I got some panadol extra from Tesco today and that's made it a bit better.

You're the same dpo as me, are you going to test earlier than AF due date?

SMiles14 Thu 10-Oct-19 13:04:59

@pollysproggle Glad you've got pain relief, I hope you find the cause soon smile

I am going to try really really hard not to, but realistically.... I probably will if my symptoms continue. I am v scared of the prospect of a CP so I really want to wait but it is killing me! When are you planning to test?

pollysproggle Thu 10-Oct-19 13:19:01

@SMiles14
Not until AF due date on 16th howeverrrrrr....I have some opk I'll probably test with beforehand. I got a positive on those a few days before my bfp for DS2

WooMaWang Thu 10-Oct-19 13:59:51

@CooperLooper I had a Mirena out after a decade of no periods in September. I got some bleeding on the 11th-14th (although I'd struggle to refer to it as a period based on pre-mirena bloody volumes). So I decided to use opks to get some idea of a cycle. I got 5 days of flashing smileys followed by a solid one on CD17 (assuming the 11th was CD1 and not just post-Mirena weirdness).

I'm still not entirely clear about when I ovulated really. I'm working on the assumption that it was the second day if smiley faces. Which makes today 10dpo in my guesstimation.

I have no idea how long my cycle is. Assuming it's 28 days, AF is due on Saturday. 2 weeks after guesstimated ovulation is Monday. So I have no bloody idea when to test really. It's all very confusing.

Also I have loads of annoying symptoms but I'm working on the assumption that it's just impending AF rather than anything good.

First post because we've just started TTC and I can't believe how emotional the TWW is. I'm looking for the smallest signs even though I know it's too early (8 DPO like you) and keep crying at the drop of a hat. Pretty sure I've been the world's worst employee this past week, so distracted.

Feeling for all those who have been trying for a long time. Sending love and luck everyone here who's eagerly and emotionally waiting. X

CooperLooper Thu 10-Oct-19 19:03:18

@WooMaWang it's so frustrating isn't it. It's a dream not having any periods for years, but then tough when you're just stuck guessing what your body is now doing! 5 days of flasheys followed by a static is great though, great idea to use opks to pick up on that x

pollysproggle Thu 10-Oct-19 20:04:24

Hi @A29T
It's only my second TWW and it's all consuming I know exactly how you feel.
Last month I had an 'if it happens it happens' approach and now I'm slowly going a bit mad.
I watched 50 First Dates movie earlier and was balling my eyes out at the end- crying because of a flipping Adam Sandler film! It's madness.
Welcome anyway and fingers crossed this is ours and everyone's else's month!

Ellsbells112 Thu 10-Oct-19 20:42:04

Hi everyone! I hope its okay if I join??
The tww is laddening and it's great to chat to the lovely ladies on here who get it!!
I'm 4-5dpo ttc no 2 (officially anyway) came off my copper coil in april but only in August did we start actually tracking etc
I know it hasn't been long and I'm already driving myself mad god!

How is everyone feeling? Anyone in similar dpo to me?

I'm sitting here feeling very light cramps...sooo light and telling myself to stop paying attention πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ€£πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

A29T Fri 11-Oct-19 08:20:37

@pollysproggle I feel you. We can be soppy sisters together.

@Ellsbells112 I was driving myself crazy immediately too. I really wasn't prepared for it at all.

9DPO now and feeling nauseous. If it's all in my head then that's some powerful and cruel grey matter in my noggin. Also came down with a cold. BAH! 4 days before AF due. Give me strength not to test πŸ’ͺ

SazCat Fri 11-Oct-19 08:23:49

11/12 dpo for me and I had a bit of brown spotting last night. I think I'm probably out. sad
I did have spotting with my last pregnancy but not til around 6 weeks.

pollysproggle Fri 11-Oct-19 08:32:36

@SazCat
Do you normally spot before your period?

ShitHairDontCare Fri 11-Oct-19 08:40:43

Thanks @KaybeBlossom keeping my fingers crossed that it's your month too 🀞 I couldn't resist testing early πŸ™ˆ zero willpower x

pollysproggle Fri 11-Oct-19 08:43:02

I did an opk this morning and it turned darkish but not reading too much into it as feel symptomless today really. Woke up feeling a bit wet from cm but that's it.

How is everyone else feeling today?

Ellsbells112 Fri 11-Oct-19 08:50:26

@a29t fingers crossed for you, sounds good! I know that I only found out I was preggars when I was like 6 weeks I just remember thinking "huh wheres my period?" So I let that give me hope when I feel nothing lol.

dublino Fri 11-Oct-19 09:28:49

Morning ladies. I think I'm 11 dpo today . Broke out in the dirtiest spot yesterday eve on my chin which is nothing new before my period but this one is perticulery nasty and sore which wouldn't be the norm. And this morn I had another load of creamy egg whitey cm hmmm. Trying so hard to fight the urge to test tolorrow but I know on my last bfp I didnt get that before day 14 . Been doing opk every morn still as I have the pcos and my body likes to do it's own thing. Bit darker this morn then the pearly whites of the past few days but nothing mental . I wish it was Monday already so at least I'd know

pollysproggle Fri 11-Oct-19 09:30:53

All sounds promising @dublino
Have you got a pic of your opk from today?

dublino Fri 11-Oct-19 09:38:43

@pollysproggle no just checked and binned it . It's nothing too major though. Be interesting to see if it gets darker though. I usually stop after ovulation but this cycle my temp didnt rise to its usual after ovulation so I was a little sceptical. I had a definite dip and a rise which has stay steady but it's only around the 97.6 mark when it's usually 98 after. Last time I got a bfp I had weird tingly nipples that were fairly constant from a few days before but this time round I just get random pains the odd time in breast. Usually my whole boobs go very sore before af. Always my tell tale sign that shes on her way. No sign yet

dublino Fri 11-Oct-19 09:39:32

@pollysproggle have you a pic of yours opk??

pollysproggle Fri 11-Oct-19 09:43:00

That's what I've been having @dublino
Boobs feel fine but random twinges and shooting pains.

Here's my opk pic.
It's darkish but not nearly a positive

dublino Fri 11-Oct-19 09:45:44

@pollysproggle that's defo darker then mine! Looks promising though. Are you gonna check each morn ??

pollysproggle Fri 11-Oct-19 09:48:29

@dublino
I have one left! Thought I had more but it was the instructions leaflet so I'll take it tomorrow and see. Why about you?

dublino Fri 11-Oct-19 10:00:28

@pollysproggle I have about 20 left! I use alot each cycle . Debating now if I'll keep using them over the weekend in case i start giving myself false hope confused . Ever since mymc in april I've found it hard dealing with my bfn so I've been doing my best not to over think everything this cycle as to bot get my Hope's up. I'm not doing very well wink

SMiles14 Fri 11-Oct-19 10:02:17

@A29T I also am very nauseous this morning at 9DPO, have a headache and lots of excess spit (ew!) which I have heard goes along with the nausea. I thought the exact same thing about my mind playing tricks on me... I will be so so shocked if I am making this all up! I really don't want to test early but might give in at 12DPO if I still feel like this...

KaybeBlossom Fri 11-Oct-19 11:08:02

Morning ladies. Sorry been a bit quiet have been so busy with work. Still no symptoms at all for me, not sure whether to read anything into that or not but not feel it very hopeful! I have a whole bag of opks so maybe that will help with my serious urge to poas lol

A29T Fri 11-Oct-19 11:09:57

@SMiles14 same re saliva yesterday. I'll hold out until 12DPO (Mon) too. Nice to not be alone in this x

SazCat Fri 11-Oct-19 13:10:54

@pollysproggle I sometimes spot for a day or to before, tbh it's only my third cycle since I had the implant out and I didn't have a period for nearly a year with that. So not really sure what my normal is!

So I guess I'll wait and see if AF comes in the next couple of days. If not I'll prob test on Monday... suppose there's a small chance it could be an implantation bleed!

pollysproggle Fri 11-Oct-19 14:50:31

Fingers crossed it is @SazCat!

This wait is torture and I don't know if I'm only noticing this because you mentioned it @A29T @SMiles14 but I have noticed I have a very watery mouth today hmm

A29T Fri 11-Oct-19 15:27:14

@pollysproggle oh boooooo. I'm sorry if I set you off!

pollysproggle Fri 11-Oct-19 16:10:52

Lol don't worry @A29T I'd be obsessing anyway. You should see the things I've googled which I haven't mentioned on here πŸ˜‚

A29T Fri 11-Oct-19 16:23:42

@pollysproggle oh I can imagine!

Sax83 Fri 11-Oct-19 16:38:51

Hey,
I’m 5DPO too. I’ve had prolonged ovulation type pain today. Has anyone else experienced this?

pollysproggle Fri 11-Oct-19 19:32:30

Hi @Sax83
I had some cramps after ovulation which Im not sure is usual for me or not?
I don't get pms symptoms usually (unless I'm faking them to get out of something lol)
But these were so mild I could of had before and not taken notice because I wasn't looking for symptoms. I'm writing them all down this cycle though!

What sort of things are you experiencing?

KaybeBlossom Fri 11-Oct-19 19:36:42

@pollysproggle your comment made me laugh. I have literally just googled 'can spots on bum be a sign of pregnancy' after noticing I seem to have spotty cheeks which I have never had before πŸ™ˆπŸ˜‚
