Hey everyonesmile

Please join me on my journey of TTC baby no 1 (5 months of TTC). It can be a rollercoaster of emotions and I think a positive thread of news, updates and tips is needed!

Feel free to introduce yourselves and explain where you're all at in your journeys. smile

Bezalelle Tue 17-Sep-19 17:36:21

Hello!

I'm 2DPO today, on Cycle 4 of ttc. I'm 38 and DP is a young buck at 29!

We're getting married in January so I'm not going to be too gutted if we don't conceive this month. We only managed to DTD once, on ovulation day.

I've symptom spotted like a madwoman the past three months. Going to try and be a bit less manic this month.

MisssC3025 Tue 17-Sep-19 17:41:08

Hiya and welcome @Bezalelle!

Firstly congratulations on your to be wedding how exciting smile

I'm very similar to you I'm around 2/3dpo. My ovulation app is struggling to work out on which day I ovulated, but on the days I had pains in one side and obvious ovulation CM we DTD!

Imagine on the one day you DTD you've managed to conceive!! That be amazing. Is this first baby?

I started symptom spotting like mad and got addicted (as was all new to me) I'm now trying to relax ish haha

Bezalelle Tue 17-Sep-19 17:45:28

Thank you!! Wedding planning is (kind of) keeping my mind off symptom spotting. blushgrin

TTC first baby, yes. I never planned on having any until I met DP two years ago. He would make such an amazing dad.

I've used OPKs for the past two cycles, and I "felt" myself ovulate this month, on Sunday morning. DTD on Sunday early afternoon. DP is living down south at the moment so we're having to time my visits to catch the fertile window.

MisssC3025 Tue 17-Sep-19 17:53:45

Aw that's too sweet!

I bet timing it at the moment is quite tiring? My DP lived in London so we would time it too and we were just so exhausted (times he got back and all the journeying back and forth) I can imagine it's exhausting?

That's why I'm a little bummed each month when I get AF, because we're so much more relaxed now we're living together! But I guess it takes time 🤞🏼

Have you tried taking anything TTC or changed routines? I know I have to eat healthily but my goodness is it hard 😖 the more I think to eat healthily the more I eat crap 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

Rinoa Tue 17-Sep-19 18:02:49

Hello all, ttc 1st baby, first round of Clomid & Inofolic. 1DPO or at least that's what the test guesses ! Wow never thought I'd be so happy to see a smiley on an Ovulation test!

I lost 40lbs and counting ever since we decided to give it a try. I never really wanted kids but I have made a full 360 and am 💯 about giving it my all.

croissantmonster Tue 17-Sep-19 18:11:37

Hi! I'm TTC, 2nd month so still early days but currently 9dpo and have felt some symptoms that could easily be AF or early pregnancy...5 more days and I'll know for sure blush
Nice to meet everyone!

Hey1256 Tue 17-Sep-19 18:47:09

Hi I'm TTC and it's driving me nuts really stressing me out.

I just want to get on with my life and you can't when TTC I never thought it would be this way.

Only second cycle so early days

MisssC3025 Tue 17-Sep-19 18:50:35

@Rinoa welcome!

This is all very exciting and a change of heart about having a baby and your positivity is great ! Well done on dropping the lbs! I need this motivation!

How long have you been trying to conceive? I've heard/seen clomid mentioned on many threads. How did you find out about it? Be interesting to see how you get on with it.

I completely empathise with you about smiley on ovulation tests! I've never had one! (Used them in first two months and gave up and just used cycle app) It's frustrating.. but I heard it's normal for some people to ovulate but it doesn't show on kits 🤞🏼 so trying to stay positive. Which opks are you using?

@croissantmonster hello and welcome!
I hope you receive the best news in the next few days 🤞🏼🤞🏼 but not to panic as yes you're very early on.

I remember feeling so down on 1st and 2nd month of TTC because I wasn't educated on it at all, but since I have been reading and watching so much stuff I tell myself each month that's it's fine and to stay positive! I think when it hits a year then that's when I should start to worry and get myself and my DP checked! A long way to go yet!

smile

MisssC3025 Tue 17-Sep-19 18:53:40

@Hey1256

I can empathise with you! We're here to support!! Remember (I Know it's easier said than done) to stay calm and positive a relaxed body and mind I'm sure helps with TTC. I don't take my own advice but I hope writing this to others helps me out too! smile

Lemonysherbet Tue 17-Sep-19 18:55:32

Hey all,

Here to join the gang 😁

31, TTC number 1. 3rd cycle of trying (march, then a break as went to a Zika country and had to wait 3 months) then August, had a bfp, and then lost it a week later sadly, so this is the 3rd month. @bezalelle we only DTD once last month and got a bfp so it really is all it takes 😘

I'm 9dpo and due Sunday, also going on holiday Sunday. Wasnt planning on testing but obviously I've been symptom spotting like a loon and I've got lots of odd things going on, but not the same as last month so not sure what to think. I have no tests in the house on purpose!

imnewtothis Tue 17-Sep-19 18:56:16

Hi me and DP are ttc our first, cycle 4 after a chemical but keeping everything positive, well trying to!

DaiJai1066 Tue 17-Sep-19 19:00:36

Hi, We are also (I think) ttc. I had an ectopic in July which resulted in my Fallopian tube being removed so now my cycles are all messy. I’m trying not to look at ovulation days but just try and keep it fun. It’s so hard though! I know we will have done our best this month! I wish you all lots of luck and any tips for working out when I’m ovulating will very helpful 😊

Chanel05 Tue 17-Sep-19 19:11:12

Hello 👋
I've been ttc for 13 months and I had a mmc in May. I got a positive opk this morning and I usually ovulate the day of my +opk so I dtd this morning and intend to do it again tonight before sleep 😴😂.

Chanel05 Tue 17-Sep-19 19:12:05

Sad typo - I've actually been ttc for 15 months.

Rinoa Tue 17-Sep-19 19:56:18

@MisssC3025 these are the ones I use constantly, also got the clear blue digitals as confirmation lol https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B001G7STT0?psc=1&ref=ppxpopp_mobbb_asin_title

We've been ttc 22 months. I have mild pcos (think it was more severe when I was over 30BMI) so weight loss really helped. I didn't even exercise except for the odd yoga, just did low carb and it was easier than I thought. It's the initial cravings that made it hard but I decided to make it a lifestyle and overall feel much better for it. I'm convinced being so heavy made my hormones super imbalanced and really ruined my mood.

Yes I'm on the Clomid thread on here too, as u can see I need all the support I can get haha. This testing and waiting really stresses me out !

StephyRose Tue 17-Sep-19 21:07:54

@HEY1256 I totally sympathise. This our first cycle of TTC and it has really consumed me. I've been a lot calmer today and am trying to be overall. I dont know why but I got really overwhelmed by the pressure to fall fast (one cycle #1!) and its ridiculous. It is supposed to be a happy time so thanks original poster because a positive thread is definitely needed. smile

Hi everyone, I'm 29. TTC baby #1, on Cycle #1 and 7DPO. AF is due on the 25th so I have just over a week to go. I bought a pack of two First Response Early tests today but I dont think I will use them early. If I am pregnant (which I dont think I am, zero symptoms whatsoever other than abnormally hormonal - putting it down to TTC stress though! Haha) that is amazing. Especially when we only DTD once as DP was tired on the actual day of Ovulation ... cue eyeroll.

But if not there is always next time... it will happen when it happens.

She says - on the first cycle! If we get to a year I might be singing a very different tune. :p

Happy trying everyone. Wishing baby dust to all!!

croissantmonster Tue 17-Sep-19 21:35:28

Thanks for the warm welcome @MisssC3025
Trying to not get too obsessed too soon, just so very excited!!

@Lemonysherbet
We're due on the same day smile I've also been symptom spotting even though I shouldn't...fingers crossed!!

Tbug Wed 18-Sep-19 10:22:26

Hi smile

I'm 23 and on 6 month of TTC.

Using the Femometer App along with their ovulation sticks- so helpful and accurate!!

Also taking pregnacare smile

I thought it was going to be easy to get pregnant sad feeling a bit rubbish!

Hey1256 Wed 18-Sep-19 10:47:24

I just purchased the clear blue advanced monitor I've heard so many good reviews online about it people seems to fall pregnant quite quickly after using so I'll let you know how that turns out! It arrives Friday which is a week before my next ovulation

Aw20hcs Wed 18-Sep-19 11:32:18

Hey ladies, 9th cycle of ttc baby #2 here smile. Af due around the 21st, so cue me symptom spotting like crazy. Bfn this morning as I had a cheapy test spare and couldn't help myself haha. Baby #1 took 2.5 years of ttc, conceived after 6months of metformin for Pcos. May go back and speak to GP about starting again soon if it doesn't happen naturally this time xxx

croissantmonster Wed 18-Sep-19 13:10:43

Eep I've got some pink CM 😊 10dpo today. I do sometimes get some spotting before AF (due 22nd) but it's usually darker, maybe brown. This is very light pink...
Only 4 days until Sunday at least 😆

Jurassiclover Wed 18-Sep-19 13:34:55

Hi,

This is 1st cycle TTC number 1 - last cycle we didn't actively try as such, rather just didn't prevent.

Trying to still be relaxed atm so just trying to DTD every other day at the moment, don't wanna jump into OPK's yet!

Currently on CD11 so hoping all goes well!

Sending baby dust to you all!

Jurassiclover Wed 18-Sep-19 13:36:16

Just realised I'm CD10 not 11 hahah oops

Positivity2019 Wed 18-Sep-19 14:59:10

Hi everyone, thought I’d jump on. I’ve came off my pill the end of May but feel like it’s taken an age for my cycle to settle down. This is my third cycle and I’m 7DPO. AF is due either sun/mon/tues, not sure which yet as my first cycle was 40 days and my second cycle was 25 days. Typically I’m 28 days regular so I’m hoping this will be my first month back to my usual cycle length. I plan to test on tues next week if no AF. No symptoms except some dull pains on my left side just above my hip today. They are a bit stabby and I’ve never had it before so fingers crossed for implantation and praying it’s not just trapped wind 😂.
My birthday is tomorrow and I’m hitting the dreaded fertility age of 35. Had hoped to be pregnant by now but I was definitely just kidding myself that we would come off the pill and get pregnant straight away, although I know it does happen for some people. Being on here has taught me heaps and has been incredibly reassuring.

SMiles14 Wed 18-Sep-19 15:38:18

Hello Ladies, in much need of some positivity during this process so wanted to join you all. I am 29, ttc #1, on cycle day 3 Today. On cycle 4 (I think) - Fell pregnant first month trying in April then had a MMC at 12 weeks in July. Been trying ever since but Aug - Sept was first normal cycle really. Very eager to make up for lost time and just be pregnant again already!
lots of luck to everyone!

croissantmonster Wed 18-Sep-19 16:04:11

@SMiles14 that sounds tough 😔 sending you some really positive vibes!! 💜

imnewtothis Wed 18-Sep-19 16:56:22

Sending you positive vibes Smiles..we can all do this together!

Makeafamily19 Wed 18-Sep-19 17:57:51

Hi all!
TTC#1
31
Cycle 4 (cycle 2 of proper trying!)
CD2

@StephyRose I get what you mean about the pressure of falling fast. Not from other people, I just think I feel like if it doesn't happen fast then there must be something wrong. Even though I know that isn't always the case.

Positive thoughts!!

Hey1256 Wed 18-Sep-19 18:01:27

@Makeafamily19 I know how you feel. I'm convinced there's something wrong I'm waiting for cycle 3 at the mo

DaiJai1066 Wed 18-Sep-19 19:29:37

I wish you all lots of luck!!! I’m not sure how to go about trying to conceive as in I don’t drink often but should I be stopping? Should I stop the occasional biscuit etc? I don’t want trying to conceive completely take over my life yet I want to live my life. Does anyone else feel the same? I have currently just started my two week wait although I’m not hopeful ☹️

DaiJai1066 Wed 18-Sep-19 19:30:17

On a positive note my partner is making dinner!

Hey1256 Wed 18-Sep-19 21:11:27

@DaiJai1066 yes I totally see where you are coming from about the alcohol. I have decided to not drink mom - fri during tww but if I have. Social event to attend then i have three max.

This to me seems reasonable as some people can take years to conceive and if I'm one of them I don't want a shit two years lol nine months is enough if we actually get pregnant!!

I also know that so many people don't even know they're pregnant and their babies are fine. As long as once I know I'm pregnant I stop then I think moderate low drinking is fine

StephyRose Wed 18-Sep-19 21:48:59

@Makeafamily19 Totally. I really feel the pressure as my Mum was a fertile Mertyl all those years ago and my sister fell with my nephew on the second or third month of trying.

My Mum keeps saying not to worry about it and that I'm my Mother's daughter but you dont really know what's going on inside until you do know ... if that makes sense?

Thank you, same to you xx smile

Xarx123 Wed 18-Sep-19 22:06:17

Hey 👋🏼

Hope it’s ok if I tag along.

This is my 3rd month actively trying after having my endometriosis surgery, 1st month trying I had a chemical which was quite hard.

Currently 7dpo I think as I haven’t temped this month as loosing the will having to wake up at the exact same time every morning as my schedule is all over the place. Symptom spotting just now not had cramping or anything but really grassy and creamy cm. Hoping this month is the month x

MisssC3025 Wed 18-Sep-19 23:14:28

@Lemonysherbet @DaiJai1066 @Chanel05 @imnewtothis hey ladies and welcome!
Thanks for sharing your experiences/journeys so far. I have everything crossed for you all.

Love the emoticons @Chanel05 😴😴 it's so tiring to DTD sometimes 😂

MisssC3025 Wed 18-Sep-19 23:17:48

@Rinoa thanks for sharing that link I'll deffo look into this!

About weight loss carbs are my demon!! However these last two weeks I've upped my protein and fruit and veg and my energy has peaked! Usually by 8pm I'm dead and now I'm up at 11pm not tired at all! Fingers crossed I keep it up!

Clomid I really need to look into. This something you can buy over counter? X

MisssC3025 Wed 18-Sep-19 23:21:19

@StephyRose welcome and you're welcome positivity is needed during these times! I empathise with you about pressure and how overwhelming it is! And don't get too hooked on symptoms as they could be AF symptoms and then it'll make you feel worse!

I chucked at your "cue eye roll" comment. Partners are so inconsiderate 😂

All the best keep us posted in the next few weeks !

MisssC3025 Wed 18-Sep-19 23:24:04

Hey @Tbug !

Ooo 6 months a month more than me! How you feeling? I have considered pregnacare.. how long have you been taking it? Any side effects?

Isn't it crazy that when you start TTC you learn so much! I was so naive 5 months ago! Thinking it would happen straight away!

MisssC3025 Wed 18-Sep-19 23:24:53

@Hey1256 ooo yes let us know how you get on with the clear blue monitor !!

MisssC3025 Wed 18-Sep-19 23:29:03

Welcome @Aw20hcs !! I hope AF doesn't arrive on 21st for you! Baby dust your way! Thanks for sharing your experience it's incredible that that works! X

MisssC3025 Wed 18-Sep-19 23:30:47

@croissantmonster wow really?! Omg good luck I have everything crossed for for you! Keep us posted won't you?

MisssC3025 Wed 18-Sep-19 23:36:46

@Jurassiclover @Positivity2019 @SMiles14 @Makeafamily19 @Xarx123

Hey ladies! Welcome and Thanks for sharing your journeys. It's amazing what we have all been/currently going through and we just try to stay positive! Strong women right here!! thanksthanks

Rinoa Thu 19-Sep-19 08:15:03

@MisssC3025 yes low carbing (Atkins, Keto etc) really helped out!

No Clomid is prescribed. We've been referred to go to a fertility clinic and they prescribed it to me. It's meant to induce ovulation as I don't seem to do so on my own. I'm on my first try of it and now 3DPO hoping it takes !

SMiles14 Thu 19-Sep-19 09:38:10

Thanks all for the welcomes smile I too need to lose some extra lbs, obviously put on some when I was pg earlier in the summer then the following month I got shingles which meant 2 weeks off work but I kept eating normally so piled on the pounds. I know I should be easier on myself but I just feel so bleugh. I am back to the gym after my holiday last week and eating well so hopefully they will start to fall off soon.

I agree that it's amazing how much you learn about your own body when you start ttc, your whole life you are led to believe that you will fall when you want to and its so easy, its so misleading! I do enjoy knowing more about my body though, noticing signs and knowing what they mean. smile

StephyRose Thu 19-Sep-19 10:06:26

@SMiles14

Agreed! That's why I am glad this thread is here and even when and if AF does come, that's a good thing because it means I am healthy.

Positivity to you and all smile xx

croissantmonster Thu 19-Sep-19 10:24:11

@MisssC3025 yes and it stoped after about 4 hrs, just a trace of pink!! Dying to test but holding out until Sunday morning when AF is due...plus it'll be our 1st year wedding anniversary 💞 praying it's a winner!

@DaiJai1066 ahh I have the should I drink this/eat that dilemma 🙈 I was on holiday for two weeks until last night and struggled to decide when to have a glass of wine etc!

croissantmonster Thu 19-Sep-19 10:25:51

@SMiles14 I'm really enjoying learning about my body too! Mad to think so much just goes on inside there without us 'doing' anything, even just our monthly cycles!

imnewtothis Thu 19-Sep-19 10:38:54

I'm on the 3rd day of a flashy smiley today, really hoping for a static soon, trying my best to keep positive on the TTC journey bit it's so hard

Jurassiclover Thu 19-Sep-19 10:48:46

I could deffo do with loosing a few pounds myself. I don't think I'm massively overweight (size 10-12) but I definitely have a bit of a tummy. I also have hypothyroidism so really need to make sure I keep on top of that as I know that can affect fertility. Currently struggling with DP as his sex drive has taken a walk confused haha

SMiles14 Thu 19-Sep-19 10:54:15

I am pretty much on the drink til its pink wagon, as the baby doesn't get nutrients from you until a few weeks past your missed period anyway so it's unlikely to do any harm. Having said that I don't drink during the week and only have maximum 3 pints/ 2 glasses of wine at a time, unless it's a special occasion/ I'm going out out!!

@Jurassiclover I'm the same, I have just noticed my clothes don't fit right any more and my boobs are trying to break free of my bras!! I was shocked to see I had gained as much as 10 lbs sad I'm being really careful tracking my calories and sot of sticking to slimming world as thats the diet I have done in the past with the best results.
It's so hard when you are struggling with low sex drive, I have had it before myself. Is he particularly stressed at the moment?

Xarx123 Thu 19-Sep-19 11:16:15

So that’s me 8dpo today I have so much gas along with belching. Just got out the shower and got lots of watery white mucus tmi sorry and still really bloated. Period Is due on the 25th September x

Jurassiclover Thu 19-Sep-19 11:17:21

@SMiles14 I know it's so hard isn't it! I n ed to start tracking stuff deffo, me and DP are thinking of starting up yoga together or going for walks/jogs. He's in a job he doesn't like and we've recently moved into our own place so I guess that's definitely some stress haha!

croissantmonster Thu 19-Sep-19 11:34:53

@SMiles14 aww this info is very useful and I wish I'd known on holiday...would have had a couple more glasses of wine 🤣 or at least not worried about the couple I did have!

Lemonysherbet Thu 19-Sep-19 21:31:27

I've just got a very faint bfp after a very early MC last month. That's positivity right there 🥰

StephyRose Thu 19-Sep-19 21:58:42

Amazing news @Lemonysherbet!! Congratulations grin

Hey1256 Thu 19-Sep-19 22:43:11

@Lemonysherbet huge congrats!!! How long were you TTC?

Jurassiclover Thu 19-Sep-19 23:10:14

@Lemonysherbet omg congrats!!! Ahhhhh that's amazing! How long were you trying if you don't mind me asking?

Lemonysherbet Thu 19-Sep-19 23:19:13

Thanks guys smile

This will be our third month. We only DTD once each month too. Husband now things he's got super sperm. Just got to stay cool calm and collected and hope it's a sticky bean

Hey1256 Fri 20-Sep-19 07:33:19

@Lemonysherbet wow that's amazing. Were you using ovulation sticks or was it pure guess work?!

Lemonysherbet Fri 20-Sep-19 07:49:32

@Hey1256 we used opks smile

Hey1256 Fri 20-Sep-19 07:55:10

That's amazing! I they don't seem to be working for me so I purchased clear blue advanced knife hopefully this will help for next month smile

Hey1256 Fri 20-Sep-19 08:46:39

Lol sorry about the typos I was half asleep when I sent the last one!

I meant to say the opks have not been working for me. I have now purchased the clear house advanced monitor so fingers crossed it nails down my ovulation as with the cheaper opk stocks apparently I wasn't ovulating!

MisssC3025 Fri 20-Sep-19 09:27:58

@Lemonysherbet this is amazing news! Keep us posted !!!

SMiles14 Fri 20-Sep-19 09:30:40

@Lemonysherbet YAAAY! Congratulations that is awesome! I am inclined to agree he has super sperm haha!!

croissantmonster Fri 20-Sep-19 10:43:31

@Lemonysherbet amazing news!!!! 💜 congratulations!! So nice to hear some good news!!

Looks like my spotting was probably start of AF, roll on Oct! Good luck everyone! smile

AL94X Fri 20-Sep-19 11:26:49

@misssC3025 Thankyou! None of the usual af signs yet, no cramps, spotting etc. Had terrible heartburn/acid that made me feel nauseous the last 2 days- vv. unusual for me confused Hope this is our month I'm scared of testing yet, don't think I can face another BFN xxx

AL94X Fri 20-Sep-19 11:28:28

@lemonysherbert wow congratulations amazing news!! Xx

MisssC3025 Fri 20-Sep-19 11:58:49

@AL94X hey!

How many dpo are you? Fingers crossed for you! smile

AL94X Fri 20-Sep-19 12:08:26

Thankyou!
I am 13 dpo, AF due tomorrow! Had a BFN a couple days ago so trying to hold off poas as long as possible xxx

Jurassiclover Fri 20-Sep-19 12:59:41

Feeling very positive today, DP's sex drive reappeared last night (strangely after a row hahahah clearly I just need to annoy him and make him angry) so I'm feeling hopeful we should be able to carry on DTD every other day this month crosses fingers

MisssC3025 Fri 20-Sep-19 15:08:02

Crossing my fingers for you both @Jurassiclover @AL94X !!

I'm counting the days... this month I feel like my DP and I have DTD more than normal, so I'm hoping this is the month!! Also tried more positions this month, as usually we stick to missionary (sorry TMI). I found when we did missionary it would all come out of me lol. But we did others and it hardly came out!! 😂🤞🏼

Hopefully it's made a difference. As I've heard if you have a tilted uterus (which I don't know if I do or not) other positions can help it all go in.

Anyone else know about this??

smile

Xarx123 Fri 20-Sep-19 17:10:13

I’ve done a test today I can see a very faint line not sure how to actual post the picture on here to see what yous think I’m only 9dpo and very scared of doing tests early after my chemical. Not sure how to tell if it’s just an evap line though so bit worried about getting my hopes up x

Rinoa Fri 20-Sep-19 17:58:22

@MisssC3025 sideways seems to work for me and I've been putting my legs up with a pillow under my bum lol not sure if it makes a difference but it feels like less comes out. And i try not to get up for at least 30 min. Oh the glory of planning dtd.

It's so weird DH has no issue with sex drive prior but ever since we've been planning it exactly by O days he seems to be mechanical lol I sense he struggles to get into it. He says he feels pressured 😂 but it's only around that time then back to normal. 4DPO today and he feels less pressure 😆

AL94X Fri 20-Sep-19 17:59:11

@xarx123 I'm not sure how you upload photos on here either but my fingers are crossed for you! My 1st bfp was very faint but if the line came up within a few minutes, it's more than likely not an evap xxx

Hey1256 Fri 20-Sep-19 18:19:51

@Rinoa I'm planning to try that!

Call me daft but I've been going straight to the toilet post sex and having a quick wash - do you think this will have reduced my chances?

I HATE the stuff being inside me, it freaks me out I have a serious case of ocd with it but needs must - if I should be keeping it in I will.

I just assumed that it's already gone inside so don't need the loose bits anymore?!!

Xarx123 Fri 20-Sep-19 18:57:23

@AL94X positive vibes! It came up after 3 minutes so hopefully it wasn’t an evap and hopefully it sticks x

Rinoa Fri 20-Sep-19 20:54:02

@Hey1256 I know it feels uncomfortable to be all wet down there. I try to only wipe around but 'inside' if that makes sense sorry if Tmi but for me its never 100% inside. Some seems to drip out, so I actually find putting legs up against the wall helps gravity do its thing! I'm used to cleaning myself and peeing afterwards too but I try not to. If I have to really go best not to hold it.

I'll let u know if it works 😝

@Hey1256 @Rinoa

Yes it's horrible haha! But I've read up that most of it shoots into you and that left over stuff that comes out or is around your lady regions is the semens nutrients and excess fluid. If it's healthy sperm filled semen 10s/100s of million sperm has gotten inside.

the position that literally has nothing coming out of me is from behind. Once done I flip over and it's the tiniest bit of wetness! Usually with missionary I have to use half a loo role but when we've done it from behind I literally use one sheet!

If a bean doesn't stick this month I will continue doing that position next month and I will try sideways too when I'm tired haha.

This is my test pretty hard to see as picture is rubbish but I’m going to try again in the morning

MisssC3025 Fri 20-Sep-19 22:23:37

I see a faint line within the red circle I've drawn! Is this where you see it?

@Xarx123 xx 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Xarx123 Fri 20-Sep-19 22:32:13

@MisssC3025 yeh that’s what I see also - it’s also clearer in person and I took the test at 5pm after only like an hour or 2 hold as I just felt I wanted to lol so I’ve been holding since absolutely bursting but trying for the 6 hour mark before bed to see if it’s any clearer. I think I’m only about 9dpo roughly - fingers crossed but so worried it won’t stick as it happened 2 months ago.

MisssC3025 Fri 20-Sep-19 22:40:10

@Xarx123 ah! I have everything crossed for you! Maybe morning wee would be much better than tonight's wee? X

Xarx123 Fri 20-Sep-19 23:02:20

I’m really nervous as it didn’t stick 2 months ago so I have lots of cheapies I’m going to use over the next 5 days to check if it’s getting darker 😬

MisssC3025 Fri 20-Sep-19 23:04:26

Everything crossed for you @Xarx123 🤞🏼🤞🏼

AL94X Fri 20-Sep-19 23:05:39

Update- I just took a cheapy test, what looked like a vv faint pink line appeared, i took it downstairs to show OH and it had gone sad Not even a minute after it showed up, it just disappeared. Talk about a kick in the teeth. So looks like I'm out this month.
@xarx123 can definitely see something, hope its the start of your BFP, definitely test again in the morning! 🤞🤞xx

Anyone awake need advice !!

6dpo and going London tomorrow for a friends birthday! We are going to a bottomless brunch 2 hours of unlimited prosecco and pornstar martinis! What do I do? If I refuse drinks (especially unlimited ones) my friends will clock on!!
We're continuing the day at a crazy golf bar and then going to a rooftop bar then a club!

Any advice really don't want my friends to clock on just yet!! ☹️☹️😩😩

MisssC3025 Fri 20-Sep-19 23:07:52

@AL94X that's so odd!! Did you keep it horizontal when you walked around with it? Did you take a pic?

Maybe try again with morning wee??

Hey1256 Fri 20-Sep-19 23:47:22

@MisssC3025 @Rinoa lol thanks for the advice ladies! I will try both next month see what happens grin

Hey1256 Fri 20-Sep-19 23:48:49

@MisssC3025 I would have three drinks max, that's my routine until I get a positive. I'm also trying not to drink Except one day a week.

I think a few drinks won't do any harm. Or at least 1 drink and say you're on antibiotics?

imnewtothis Sat 21-Sep-19 07:47:26

First off good luck to everyone testing today!

Hayleylou89 Sat 21-Sep-19 07:57:39

Hi Ladies, first time ever using this so bare with...Im TTC and i used Natural Cycles app and essentially im in the 2 week wait, Had positive LH readings cd 18 19 the app predicted ovulation cd20 but last night Cd23 i had what looked like implantation bleeding but is it too soon to get that as its only 5 days at most since conception but this looked exactly as implantation bleeding is decribed i took a picture after a few wipes but not sure how to upload it and the today cd24 nothing atall when i wipe... how long until i can test my app says my period isnt due for another 9 days as my cycles are 35-38 days. Any advice welcome ??

MisssC3025 Sat 21-Sep-19 07:58:59

@imnewtothis I found this hope this is helpful x

MisssC3025 Sat 21-Sep-19 08:02:45

@Hayleylou89 hey I use Natural Cycles! Great app! The fact you had something when you wiped could be implantation bleeding 🤞🏼🤞🏼 as you're so far from AF yet!! You won't be able to download a picture yet if you're new to Mumsnet! Think it takes a few days.

If I were you I would wait until first day AF is due to test! And I would use a FRER as pink dye is more sensitive. I have everything crossed for you!

How long have you been trying?

imnewtothis Sat 21-Sep-19 08:07:04

@MisssC3025 thanks so much that's super helpful, I sent a picture of the smiley to my partner so he is prepped for extra baby dancing haha

Hayleylou89 Sat 21-Sep-19 08:19:30

@missc3025

Thanks for replying ...So i come off the pill in January and was getting a married in June so was using the app to prevent for the first 6 months, Went on honeymoon in Aug so this is first month really TTC my cycles are either dead on 35 days or dead on 38 but each month its one or the other... yes its so wierd that im So far from AF and it definitely wasnt like AF it was a light pinky colour, I dnt really feel any other symptoms my boobs arnt sore, (they were a little during ovulation as always and i had ovulation pains too for a couple of days) but no sore boobs now, just a little headachy but nothing major, ill try and post pics in a few days, Im going the fair today for neice and nephews bday (think ill
Stay off any rides just incase) xx

StephyRose Sat 21-Sep-19 08:37:21

Hi lovely ladies,

I am a glutton for punishment as I tested just now when I promised I wouldn't... AF due on 25th and have been getting very odd pains which cant be period pains - unless AF comes early.

I did a FRER test. I'm not going to post a photo as the faintness of the test line is embarrassing haha! BUT if I look hard enough it is there. I opened a second test and I couldn't see a test or pregnancy line at ALL in comparison to the one I just used.

Thoughts on this one? Maybe I am just being a Hopeful Hannah. hmm

MisssC3025 Sat 21-Sep-19 08:56:12

@Hayleylou89 This sounds very promising if it's a pink colour! 🤞🏼🤞🏼 have fun today and keep us posted!

MisssC3025 Sat 21-Sep-19 08:58:00

@StephyRose well you took the right test if testing early. They do say FRER can detect few days before AF and I guess it's only 4 days! So 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 maybe don't take anymore until 25th (I know that's very hard but will be a lot stronger then if you are pregnant!)

🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Hayleylou89 Sat 21-Sep-19 09:41:40

@MisssC3025

I will... with being so far from AF im probably best waiting a while before testing arnt i? Not due AF until 1st October x
