Hello!

So after breastfeeding for 10months and not having a period since beau fell pregnant with my first baby (11.5months old) my period finally came back 16th Aug...11months after my daughter was born.
We had been trying for baby number 2 for a while but honestly it was so hard not knowing where I stood re ovulation and period. So I couldn't properly get into the swing of it lol.
Since my period returned, I have kept tracked using the ovia app, and we gave it a good jolly go all of last week when it said I should be ovulating (poor hubby didn't know what hit him hahahahah)!
I'm not expecting to be one of those lucky few (you know the ones who fall preg the first time!) but, thought it'd be nice to have some support from women going through the same journeys.

Ps, i don't know what all the abbreviations are in other threads I've seen so I may need help!

Hi!

Also ttc #2 (our first is 21 months) and first cycle trying this month. According to the flo app I was ovulation end of last week and we DTD 3 times leading up to. Again, not expecting to be lucky enough to fall pregnant in the first cycle but nice to have someone in the same position.
AF / BFP is due 14th September

Fingers crossed for you!

@whambam89 Yes exactly, nice to be able to talk about it with someone else that isn't hubby or family. Too much pressure when loved ones get involved.
What does DTD, AF and BFP mean, I don't know any of the lingo 😩

Also TTC #2
#1 is 26 months

I’m not really meant to be trying until after October but coil is out!

Dtd = do the deed (shag)
AF = Aunt Flo (period)
BFP = big day positive

Hi,
We are also TTC no. 2 first is 19months.
Ovulation predicted by flo yesterday and think hubby was surprised last week!
Don't know why but I'm feeling really anxious this month and stressed by the whole thing.
Periods have not been regular for a couple of months and it's messing with my head, so desperate for number 2 and know that none of that will make it any easier.
Sorry for rambling but was hoping some of you would understand! Confused

I'm also TTC number 2, first child is 2 years 8 months, fell present with her within 4 weeks of stopping the pill. Been off the pill since 1st July, just had my 2nd normal period, using Flo app to work Out my fertile days. Trying so hard not to stress!!

Hello! I'm also about to start TTC #2. My son is almost 3 and this would be our first cycle trying. Just waiting for AF to start! I'm a few days late so a bit stressed about it all.

Hey all, TTC #2 and DC1 is 8 months. Hard to believe I'm back at trying to conceive again so quickly, but for several reasons time is not on our side!!

It took 10 cycles and also had a MMC first time round so hoping will be quicker this time 🤞

AF due 14th, and have been regular since they started back around 6 weeks PP. Had nausea at 2.5 weeks followed by a BFP at 3.5 weeks last time so hoping signs will be there early this time too! I hate the 2 week wait!!

Sounds like we're all in a similar position with just a few months between our #1

I can't remember when I started to feel symptoms / what the symptoms were last time - anyone else the same?! 😂

We go away on the 12th so AF is due while we're away, not sure whether to be optimistic and take a test with me or be patient and wait until we're back on the 20th!

Hi I m ttc no 2. Son is 3 years old. First cycle off pill. I used to ovulate day 13 which was yesterday but not had a positive opk so not sure if hormones are all over place. I think last time I felt nausea the day before period was due but didn't get positive pregnancy test until 2 days after Af was due.

It's nice to know we are all in the same boat. When is everyone's pregnancy test date/period due?
I'm on day 19 of my cycle so got another 9 days to go before AF (thanks @Woodlandwitch for helping me out with the abbreviations 👍🏻)

Having only just had my first period back since having my DD (11.5months old) at the end of last month, and not knowing what to expect in terms of how regular/normal my periods will be, I'm optimistic but trying to stay realistic. Me and my hubby DTD x3 through my "fertile" week, and I'm hoping I'm still super fertile after DD & BF.

My sister in law just found out she was pregnant and it would be such a dream if we could be preggo together! For the whole family, it would be wonderful but life usually has other ideas lol.

Do you wonder how it'll be with two little babes? I honestly feel like the first 3/4 months or newborn stage was all a sleep deprived, baby bubble, out of body experience lol! Bloody loved it though ❤️

@vialarooski my test date will be the 14th if AF hasn't arrived by then. I'm trying to spot symptoms already, does anyone else become obsessed? 😂

Report
Vialarooski · 03/09/2019 14:06

@whambam89 yes but I'm really trying to not think about it, in the past I've practically convinced myself I'm pregnant with symptoms I think I've got and been so gutted when it's come back not pregnant. 😩

What preg symtoms did you have first time round before finding out you were?

@whambam89 @Vialarooski I hear you both I am so obsessed trying to spot symptoms etc it's a little ridiculous! AF due 16th if it doesn't then not sure how long I'll be able to hold out before testing.
Away for the weekend 14/15th so sods law AF will arrive then.

@vialarooski I was exactly the same last time, I think it was 3rd cycle first time round that we fell pregnant after being on the pill for 10+ years, I didn't have loads of symptoms last time - sore boobs and slight cramping if I remember rightly. My boobs felt really heavy and sore this morning but I'm sure it's too soon to get any symptoms and I'm just imagining it 😂 how about you? @eleanor1984 we go away for a week on the 12th and AF is due 14th🤦‍♀️

AF is due on the 12th, and I don't really feel like I'm having proper symptoms yet, but I don't know if I'm dismissing possible symptoms because I don't want to tempt fate.....
I don't really remember having many from my last pregnancy. Apart from having like a heavy feeling in my pelvis/uterus. It was so weird, I knew straight away I was pregnant and tested on the day my period was due and it was positive. The only other thing that was weird was that I lost my sense of taste, everything tasted so bland lol! But It wasn't until after I tested that I started having proper symptoms.

If I was being picky....for symptoms (which I obviously am because I've logged them in my Ovia app 😂) I had a wave of nausea this afternoon but I put that down to having my multi vit which always makes me feel a bit sick if I haven't eaten enough beforehand, also I'm feeling pretty knackered but I'm putting that down to having some crazy dreams last night and not sleeping well. I've been randomly sneezing loads and felt super bloated yesterday. All of which could be easily justifiable....????

Sneezing loads and crazy dreams and bad sleep here but didn’t realise those could be signs!
Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻

If I have any nausea I'll test sooner, if not probably wait until AF due date on 14th.

People say that no 2 pregnancies are the same and I wonder how true that is. I had bad nausea from 3-20 weeks last time followed by back pain, sciatica and lots of fatigue. Not sure how I'd manage all that with a baby and going back to work!

How's everyone feeling? Any possible symptoms?

Report
Vialarooski · 05/09/2019 07:36

@whambam89 morning, I'm feeling pretty normal..although my sense of taste feels like it's dulled. I was finding everything pretty bland yesterday and that was my first symptom with my first pregnancy 🤔

I'm also finding it hard to get to sleep, which I never ever usually have trouble with (I'm normally asleep before my head even touches the pillow) but that could be down to a number of things.

Oh and my nipples are tingly and look a bit darker than normal lol!
How about you? Anything?

Hey can I join, I'm currently TTC #2 also, I have a 17m little boy and were onto month 2 now of trying. I got pregnant the month after coming off the pill with my son, praying it happens quickly again. I had convinced myself I had all kinds of pregnancy symptoms last month and was gutted when af came 3 days early. I'm on cycle day 10 today, according to ovia app I should ovulate around tuesday next week x

@vialarooski that all sounds positive!

My mood is all over the place but that could just be me stressing about our first holiday abroad with a 21m old next week 😂 boobs are still tender and really weird dreams / pregnancy dreams. I think I'm probably looking into it too much though. Only a week for you until you find out either way, is that right?

@charlie0692 hi! It's so hard not to constantly symptom spot isn't it? Good luck this month 🤞
