Hi ladies, hopping on end of September bus as AF got me this morning on 10dpo after I had spotting last night.

My stats:
Age: 34
TTC: #3
Cycle #4
CD 1

My cycles are around 31 days long so due around September 25th.

I'm away for three weeks in October so if we're not successful this month it'll be me out until my November cycle. Trying not to put too much pressure on myself. I usually don't ovulate until cd 19-21 so got a long boring wait until then.

Had no symptoms of AF at all, only sign was being grumpy yesterday but me DH and the kids were driving to Wales and it took hours and hours with the bank holiday traffic and various stop offs so was hoping that was why but nope, AF had to show her ugly face.

Annoyingly getting AF on day 1 of our holiday means going to the beach today will be nightmare and no swimming costume for me. I'm feeling really gutted but DH doesn't seem that bothered, he just thinks it will happen when it will happen. He's wanted to TTC for ages so I'm surprised he's not more bothered but I think he's just happy I agreed to try and confident it will happen again whereas I'm more aware of my difference in age since last TTC 4 years ago and worried about my irregular periods and what that means for my fertility. I've always had irregular periods but I'm older now so can't help worrying about it.

Sorry for the rant, needed to get some of that off my chest! Going for a run this morning to try to clear my head and accept another cycle of uncertainty and stress.

@NamiSwan sorry that you are feeling rough a run will definitely help.
September is going to be OUR month everyone on this thread 💪🏻
I can feel it and I have my positive pants on

Ttc 1
Age 27
Predicted o 3rd Sep
Predicted af 18th sep

My plans are use cb opks again only started using them last month and found them really helpful.
Order some new underwear to keep things interested as I am planning to dtd ALOT more than usual as dh is going to be around for more this month for the first time.

Try not to symptom spot at all planning not to put any notes into my apps what will be will be but I know stress is a bad factor so want to try any chill.

What's everyone else's plan ?/ if any

Cycle Length 32 days

Been TTC for a while but this is our first month trying SMEP. O'd CD19 last month but been having fertile CM for a few days now so could be earlier this month. BFP/AF due 12th Sept. Feeling positive this month, read so many good things about SMEP 🤞🏼

Age: 33
TTC (trying to conceive): #1
Cycle : first month ‘proper trying’ eg .timed BD (had one month NTNP in August..
CD (cycle day) 9

AF due 14th September so will probably test on that day or day before....

Finally hubby is actually keen to get BFP rather than terrified/not ready.

Plan is to BD every day from CD 9 to CD 17 (ish)...... I gave 28-29 day cycles....

With me luck with daily BD 💪 Lol

@mrssunshinexxx Fingers crosses for us both this month!! I've had some watery cm today so I'm guessing fertile window has definitely started. Probably won't dtd today, it's too bloody hot and we're knackered! 😂

mrssunshinexxx · 25/08/2019 17:50

@Tamalama do you have a plan this month?
I spoke to hubby earlier and I said do you feel anything when I tell you my period has come and he said this month he felt sad about it for the first time and he's really onboard to dtd at every opportunity this month as he is meant to be around more this fertile period so I am crossing everything this is our month also because then I would be around 12 weeks at Xmas and would be lovely to tell parents on Xmas day but I know I'm getting ahead of myself ! X

AF has started properly now so time for stats

Age: 31
TTC # 1
Cycle: 4
CD: 1
AF/BFP due: 23/09/19

Really weird, temps not dropped yet. Spotting yesterday but full AF this morning. I imagine it’ll drop tomorrow- it’s been very warm and that probably has something to do with it.

Tamalama · 26/08/2019 09:31

@mrssunshinexxx Ahh that's great news that he's more on board now 😊
My plan is the same as last month, just track using opks and dtd around that time. Trying not to plan it too much. Just trying to be more relaxed this cycle and what will be will be... x

Is it possible to get EWCM at around CD 11? Can people ovulate around CD11 or CD12??

My period are usually 27 to 30 days apart

Report
Lauralozzle · 26/08/2019 10:07

@Tamalama I think I’m going to try and be more relaxed this cycle too.

@twbmod sometimes I ovulate CD13 when I have a shorter cycle and will get EWCM CD11. Sometimes I get EWCM up to 5 days before ovulation.

Urgh, I hate AF and stupid cramps! I will not let them interfere with my day today though.

Hi there,

Fairly new to all this but I’m at:

Age 29
TTC#1
Cycle 4
CD5
AF/BFP due 18th September

Had a very faint positive last month followed shortly by AF. I heard two pregnancy announcements today, which although is wonderful is hard to take at the moment. I never thought it would be this all consuming and it is still really early days for me.

I thought about trying OPKs this month but I am worried that it will just put more pressure on an already stressful time. My stress levels are generally quite high with work etc anyway.

What are your thoughts on OPKs? Worth a go? I have natural cycles but don’t always remember to measure temp first thing.
