To ovusense or not?

We have been told we have no fertiity issues so have been sent home to loose weight and try naturally

I have irregular periods and when they do come they can last longer than 7 days.

I'm wondering whether to try ovusense or not? 🤔🤔

Any reviews good and bad?

Thanks Smile

I used OvuSense. I think if you have irregular cycles then it would be great for you. It will let you see clearly when you are about to ovulate so can pinpoint best time when to dtd. It’s easy to use and interesting to see a pattern after a few cycles.

Hey I'm looking into Ovusense also, I initially considered the Ava bracelet but it's not great for irregular cycles.

@Marshmallow1992 Do you have to purchase Ovusense out right and then pay for a monthly subscription also?x

I purchased one (discount code SUMMERBABY) and you get 2 months subscription with it.

I read sooo many good things about it I couldn't not buy one. I have irregular periods too and everyone i read who have used seems to have the same problem

There is a facebook group you can join once you have bought it

@SunnySunshine1990 I think it’s like £60 to buy (with a code)and you get a month with that. You then need to subscribe every month or you can buy a yearly subscription. Whatever would work out best for you.

I fell pregnant using it and I don’t know if I would have without it as from my LH surge it showed me I actually didn’t ovulate until 4 days after that. So I wouldn’t have been dtd at the right time.

@smarty14 the Facebook group is very good. Loads of knowledgable people and help on it.

At least you'll be able to start a brand new cycle. Who knows if i've ovulated half way through a cycle lol

I'm such a geek so excited to use it! Has yours arrived yet? Are you going to just use that or OPK alongside it at all?x

Been using mine for about 3/4 nights now. Its interesting to see the difference in temperatures.

No opks don't work for me
I'm hoping this will give me a good insight to ovulation. I'm also using inofolic too so lets hope it all works.

There are cheaper ways of detecting ovulation... Just saying.

Hi @EvelineUK, I understand but after recently being diagnosed with PCOS, having a miscarriage, a chemical pregnancy and trying for over a year I am willing to try anything that will help to successfully conceive.
Taking BBT with a thermometer hasn't worked for me and OPKs have also been difficult so this is one of the most convenient solutions I have found, fingers crossed it works!x

@smarty14 I have only been able to use it for the past 2 evening as AF was about! So not much to see on my chart, let me know when your ovulation is confirmed :) x

Hey @smarty14 how you getting on? This is my chart, no clue what it all means!!

Had EWCM since Sunday evening so been doing the deed the last few nights but chart isn't really telling me much!

I've ordered some ovulation strips just to double check if I am actually in my fertile window or not, I have never ever ovulated this early though so very confused!

Hope all is well with you x

Hiya @SunnySunshine1990

I have had a confirmation of ovulation which i am so shocked at but was on holiday with family in a caravan 🤭 so that wasn't going to happen! We did when we got back though. Confirmed ovulation on the Thursday dtd sat/sun

I am going to carry on using it though until AF arrives

Not going to lie i love that i have actually ovulated as i never thought i did!

Ah that's fab that you have ovulated!! Did the app tell you before hand or a few days later?xx

I think it told me on the sunday or monday. I can't remember now 🙈
But i think thats normal because its the first time using it

Next month it will hopefully tell me my fertile window.

Yeah I'm on it, it's good looking at other people's charts isn't it?

I went for my first fertility appointment today and they did an internal scan to confirm PCOS, I asked if there are any eggs looking like they are ready to go but they said it wasn't likely, bummer! EWCM for nothing :s xx

At least you have a diagnosis. Did they give you any recommendations?
I wasn't diagnosed with anything but because of irregular periods they recommend i take inofolic. Its quite pricey but defo worth a try for you.

They say it takes upto 3 months for it to make a difference but i think i can see a difference using it already. My boobs hurt today and i think thats part of my ovulation/period on way

Yeah they are sending me for day 21 bloods, partner has to have a sperm analysis done and going back in a few weeks for a follow up and more than likely will be proscribed Clomid. So glad things are finally moving!

I've never heard of infolic, is it used to regulate your cycle?x
