Clear blue saying 3 plus weeks??

Found out today I'm pregnant by doing a clear blue digital. Had no idea no real symptoms and my last AF was on 17 July nearly 4 weeks ago but I ovulated on 31 July 2 weeks ago.

I'm confused how I am getting 3 plus weeks when I could only have conceived 2 weeks ago

On the leaflet it says 3 plus weeks is 5 weeks pregnant

I am now freaking out that its twins!

Anyone help?

Mine said 3+ weeks and I was 11 weeks pregnant Grin and didn't know .....

Why do you think you're pregnant with twins?

Thanks @CrazyCatLady159

Because I read that if you were further on than you thought you might have higher hcg levels which are associated with multiples!

I think that 3+ is the maximum that clear blue can go ... it means that you are 5+ weeks normally however obviously by pp& myself we was further along

Sane thing happened to me op, turned out I'd conceived the month before but still had a period! Found out at 7 weeks and the test said 2-3 iirc.

The doctor dated my pregnancy as starting a week after I usually ovulate so I must have implanted late.

Congrats!

@mamansnet oh god I hope not because I've been drinking on holiday and had some big nights out since coming back. I will be so worried I've harmed it if I am further along. I read that it's not such an issue in the first couple of weeks but after that all the important bits are forming. If I'm further along I could have caused damage

So did I! Please don't worry. Even if you are further along than you thought, it shouldn't have affected your baby too much at that stage. My DS is no worse off for me having had a few dozen drinks before my BFP, he's now a happy little 2 year old and perfect in every way!

Could be twins, could be you’re further along, could be you just have higher hcg levels than the averages they use. I wouldn’t worry but worth mentally preparing yourself just in case - I was not expecting twins at my scan and I did not take it well 😂

Must step away from dr google as now it's saying high hgc readings can mean abnormalities and indicate molar pregnancies

I was only 14 dpo yesterday ( I got a positive opk) 15 days ago) and got 3plus weeks so that's really high isn't it!!
