Would you leave it a month before trying for a baby after coming off the pill, i read somewhere it can increase the chance of miscarriage, is this true?

I was told to wait at least a month and wait for at least one normal period. Don't know how it will effect chances of miscarriage, you should talk to your doctor to be on the safe side.

I think the idea is for you to have a 'normal' period so that your body is in shape to conceive. It also helps with calculating when the baby is due.

With reference to your original post have never come across that, where did you read such information?.

You don't have to wiat a month post pill, some docs like to know when the LMP (last menstrual period) was to help with dating when the baby is due.

you're also apparently most likely to conceive the first month after coming off the pill rather than waiting.
