One dpo today, ovulation confirmed by positive opk. Started taking Fertilty Support for Her this cycle and hit my peak at 200 on Friday morning and experienced a cramping pain on the left side of my abdomen later that evening (first time I’ve ever had ovulation pain before)! Smile Started cycle 5 this month! BBT is also beginning to climb! Anyone starting their ttw?!! Eagerly waiting to see what will become of this month! Halo

I'll join if that's ok :)
Technically its 2 weeks tomorrow AF is due but I likely won't have ovulated yet as I have a short luteal phase.

I'm not tracking anything at all (which is driving me nuts) so company would be nice Grin

@Treaclepie19 Hello and of course! Smile I didn’t track anything either our first few cycles. Cycle 4 was when I begin too, and I really like to track my bbt so if you’re considering on using something; it’s affordable and really helpful. But the wait really can drive you crazy! Lol, how long have y’all been TTC?

Mymedusa24 I tracked my bbt with our 3 year old :)
I want to start tracking again really but trying to go with the flow 🙈
This is our first month trying. We lost a baby in December (TFMR) so I'm a little bit on edge!

I'm due to ovulate Wednesday

@Treaclepie19 oh okay so you already know all about it! Smile

I’m really sorry to hear that though! It’s not a bad thing to want to take it easy at all. There’s no reason to stress it, but that’s a lot easier said than done.

We’re trying for our first. My body seems to get further and further with each cycle, but no sticky baby yet. I had a chemical pregnancy In February, and I had all the symptoms for a ectopic pregnancy last month, but I don’t even know!

Hi can I join? I ovulated on 6 June and I’m on 4dpo. This is only my first cycle so I don’t really know what to expect.

I’ve had a really heavy stomach if you know what I mean. It doesn’t feel normal and it hurts to stretch out. I feel like I need to be hunched over. I’m hoping it’s positive and not just in my head. I’ve not really got sensitive boobs yet. I do feel slightly nauseous. I’ve not noticed anything else yet.

I’m desperate to do a test but trying to hold out till the weekend.

@Mymedusa24 thank you :)
Sorry to hear that, I hope this is your month!
I'm already going a bit crazy wondering how long it will take.

We had a miscarriage first which took 4 months to conceive, then our 3yo took about 5 months then the baby we lost in December was first try! (Shocked us completely)

Can I join? My cycles are confusing due to coming off the depo last summer. Think I’m about due to ovulate round about now- that’s if I even do. Fingers crossed!

@Treaclepie19 your welcome, thank you! Everything that has been happening this cycle is new with hitting my peak and having cramping during ovulation, so I really hope it is! Grin Last month my LH test showed it was high, but that was it. And the only difference this cycle is I started taking Fertility Support for Her this cycle, so I’m super excited!!!

Oh wow though, yeah I think that would have been a shock for anybody! It’s crazy how long it can take.. and how things can happen in the process too.. I was letting all of it drive me crazy too, but there’s just a peace in my heart now as we wait to find out what this month will bring!

@XjustagirlX Hello! Of course, we’re all in this together! Smile it’s hard to know when it is your first cycle! That does happen with bloating because your digestion system slows down but hopefully it will be! Those are definitely all good signs! But it is always best to wait for 8 dpo - 14 dpo if you can!

@Mummylanie3 Welcome to the thread! You don’t have too much longer then before you’ll be on board too!!! Grin

@AcesHigh666 Hello, Hello! And yes ma’am Smile I would suggest tracking to help determine when you are (if you are) to help you, if you can! Opk test are also good for confirmation just to be certain. Fingers crossed for you too though!!! Smile

Maybe we’ll all get the big fat positive this month!!!

Can I join? TTC no2 for 18 months, using OPK sticks and tracking app. Currently 3dpo and already symptom spotting because to be completely honest 18 months of TTC has turned me into a lunatic. Used preseed for the first time this month. Earliest test date is 21st. Fingers crossed for everyone!

@CreekyBeaky of course! And oh my! Well I think I would be a lunatic too! Hopefully this will be your month, you never know Smile

I plan to begin testing myself on the 16th (8 DPO). I know it’ll be early but the lord knows I have plenty of pregnant tests, so I figured why not? 🤷‍♀️

I’m about 2dpo but temps are only crawling up, so I’m a bit concerned this cycle!

This is cycle #3 for us to conceive #1 and I’ve been temping and OPK-ing from the start.
Everything crossed for this cycle!
AF due 20/06 so will test on Monday maybe...

@ELW85 Hello!
Maybe you ovulated later than anticipated? Once you get your positive opk, from my understanding, you ovulate in the next 24 - 48 hours. (Or that’s when my app tells me ovulation will most likely occur). If you already know this, then please disregard! Smile

I caved and did a test. Obviously it was negative at 6dpo. I’m glad I did it though. I got it out of my system and hopefully now I will wait till Sunday to do another one.

@Mymedusa24 we ovulated on same day! Confirmed by opk digital but Ava showing temperatures slowly increasing rather than spike. I’ve read that’s ok though so fingers crossed. This is my 4th cycle of proper trying with tracking etc.

Hi guys, can I join too?

This is month 1 TTC and I've been on the pill for over 10 years so not really sure how long my cycle is or anything. Assuming a 28 day cycle I should be due on the 23rd and Flo app predicted ovulation as sat 8th June. I've used the clear blue ovulation test but have had all high fertility and no peak yet so no idea what's going on TBH.

Just going to wait until the end of next week then try a first response test but not feeling too confident. Fingers crossed for you ladies too!

@Savvysaz Hello! Hitting 4 DPO together! Sometimes it does take a little time, that’s awesome though! Smile

@LA89 Of course!
At least so far you were able to confirm a high level of your luteinizing hormone! It takes a few days for your LH to hit it’s peak (if you do), but I would continue to test until it shows its low just to be sure. Smile

Don’t let it discourage you though!!!

I might not even have ovulated yet though (probably not until Friday) so mine may just be illness 😂

Hi everyone! Never posted before! TTC number 2!

Currently 6/7 dpo but that's only according to Flo, it's only my first month trying (but been off the pill since feb), so haven't done any ovulation test strips or anything.

I told myself I was going to be chilled and just let it happen when it happens but easier said than done!

On Saturday I went all nautious and had to lie down (maybe this was my actual day of ovulation?), and today I keep getting mild stabbing pains every so often on my left hand side but feels more like top of my groin area 🤷‍♀️

When is it too early to test?

Report
Mymedusa24 · 13/06/2019 02:28

@mummy21l Hello!
You can experience nausea during ovulation (but it would be hard say if that was the case or not without confirmation). This cycle, I experienced cramping pains on my left side during ovulation. Maybe ovulation was late this cycle for you?

With testing, it can take up to two days for conception to occur after ovulation and 6 -12 days for implementation to take place. So if you do decide to test early, it’s recommended to wait 8 DPO - 14 DPO!

But in the event that your cramping is associated with ovulation, that’s a good sign! Studies show women who cramp during ovulation are more fertile! Smile You may want to ‘baby dance’ in the next 24 - 48 hrs, in case you are ovulating (lol) and consider this 1 DPO just to make sure you don’t test too soon!
