Hi all,
New to this board ☺️
I’m 32 and myself and DH are trying for number 2 (we have an almost 3YO DD). We just had a chemical pregnancy - AF was due May 18th, already faint pregnancy test lines got fainter on May 19th and disappeared completely on 20th. Started bleeding May 20th and now on a very heavy AF.

We are emotionally ready to just got for it again, my question is have any of you positive experience of getting right after an early Chemical pregnancy and if so did you find you ovulated earlier/later.

For example, I ovulate exactly 14 days after my period starts. As my period was technically 3 days late, do I assume I will just ovulate 14 days after this bleed started? Or do I count 14 days after period was actually due?

Anyone who has just been through the same that wants to join me on this journey please do! X

Hello! I had a chemical last month, bled heavily like you.
Ovulated again this week, 13 days after start of bleed as the bleed started a day later than period normally would. confirmed by clear blue ov sticks and symptoms fitted. Now the wait again!
🤞

Oh fingers crossed for you!!!

So basically your ovulation didn’t really change - it happened as if your period had been on time? I’ve ovulation sticks arriving tomorrow (good ol’ Amazon!) so I’ll start testing as soon as bleeding stops but in theory then it could be as soon as next Friday 31st...so strange how the body works!

How far into the TWW are you the @Morningchorus? Just a few days I imagine? I’ll be so excited to hear how you get on - and sorry for your loss 💐

I had 2 chemicals in a row. Ovulated 2 days later than normal. Day 14 not day 12.

Oh sorry to hear that @Summerjustmaybe , are you still TTC? My normal ovulation day is day 14 so I’ll just have to see what the sticks say

After a mmc at 45 I gave up sadly. I found the cheap ovulation stripsbofd ebay really good. Tested at 2pm and 10 pm and always caught my positive!

Oh I’m so so sorry to hear that - it’s very kind of you to give advice when I’m sure it’s quite hard if you think that dream is over for you, thank you so much. 💐 Yes I’ve ordered the cheapie ones and heard that testing in that time period is best. Xx

I'm new here too and had a chemical pregnancy 23rd March, my period was due on the 18th March and had positive tests but then sadly negative a week after and really heavy bleeding, got it all confirmed at the docs
I had a completely normal period last month exactly 23rd April and I'm now 2 days late this month, we started trying again straight after
I'm just starting to get excited but had 2 negative tests today, my boobs have got bigger and really tender but I'm still nervous it might just be late due to what happened, going to try another test first thing in the morning so keeping everything crossed

Aw so sorry to hear about your loss @SamRwl, and this waiting game is so horrible! Do you know when you may have ovulated this month?

Absolutely no idea I've never done an ovulation test which is making it more confusing still absolutely no sign of AF and BFN this morning

Oh no, I think they say it can take a few cycles to get back to normal sometimes so it adds to the pain of waiting and hoping. I know it’s so hard but try not to test even for 48 hours. But that’s coming from me, a total POAS addict!! Xx

Hello @LittleRedSocks I had a chemical / loss on 12th May. I ovulated on cd14 iam now 2dpo. It hasn't changed mine this time. I have had 7 miscarriages to date and they have all done strange things to my cycle from lengthening to shortening it. Even changing my period length and how heavy it is. Good luck this cycle. I'm in the tww and it's hell. It's also hard when you are a poas addict because there's no point peeing on any sticks until at least 10dpo lol

Oh my gosh, 7 losses I’m so so sorry to hear that @Lilimum7, I really hope you will get a stick BFP in around 8-12 days! Please keep me posted! Do you start testing earlier than ten days?! I start usually around 6 coz I’ve no patience! I worked out that over the last two weeks I spent £120 on pregnancy tests!!!! I’m pretty ashamed of myself 😢But in a way I’m glad I did becuase I was braced for MC because the lines were consistently light then started fading so I knew the day before I started bleeding that I was out. So I’ve now stocked up on the IC’s (50 for £4) so I can POAS to my hearts content this time! And of course ordered the ovulation strips too!
Have your MC’s been over a number of years or every consecutive month? Have you spoken to doctor? This happened to my friend about 5 times and he prescribed progesterone and now she has a 2 year old boy! Xx

@LittleRedSocks no I had (this is a long list) natural mc at 6 weeks, cp, cp, missed miscarriage at 7 weeks, mmc at 12 weeks, mmc at 8 weeks and cp.
Praying the next one sticks. I ve seen a specialist who has taken so much blood but says I'm healthy and to try asprin and progesterone pessaries if I get a bfp.

Oh fingers crossed for you, honestly, you’ve been through so much. Do you think you could even try start aspirin and pp’s now?

@LittleRedSocks I'm doing pineapple core and progesterone cream at the moment. Doc will not give me the pessaries until I get a bfp. And they said to only do asprin at bpf too although that makes no sense to me. Surely if its to help in plantation I should be on it already, hense me doing pineapple core (natural asprin)

LittleRedSocks · 27/05/2019 00:43

Oooh, I didn’t know there were different types of aspirin! Due to autoimmune disease, I was on 75mg aspirin from 12 weeks last pregnancy (with my DD) - intrigued about pineapple? X

No, not yet! Only finished AF/CP bleeding a few days ago and according to my App I should be ovulating Monday/Tuesday (though should be tomorrow if I am to go by original AF?). Peeing on those IC ovulation strips but nothing yet! What about you?? X

Hello All,
I’m very sorry to hear about your losses but I am glad to find a thread like this. I got a BFP on Weds morning this week but to my complete disappointment I got very bad cramps & started bleeding Weds evening & have been bleeding just like AF since but with a bit more cramps. We just want to try again but had been wondering whether I would ovulate at a similar time as usual.
Seems like I might! I hope everyone is doing well and a massive Congratulations SamRwl on your BFP!
