So im just getting fed up and worried now.
Came off the pill after 10 years last september. Had withdrawel bleed. First af 1st dec. 1st and 2nd cycle 39 days. 3rd 41 days. Now cycle 4 cd50. No af, bfn on tests. Is it possible ive just missed this period? Is there something wrong with me?

When I came off the pill I had normal periods then suddenly one of 56 days!!!! Then a few all over the place then back to normal.. now I'm fine. Bodies can be weird! X

@Luckylola12 nothing wrong with you! Your body is probably just taking time to adjust back. My cycles were between 32 and 50 days for 4/5 cycles after coming off pill. My last cycle was 50days before I got BFP! It is annoying when you don't know what's going on but you will get there. 👍🏼

@mumof1hants thanks for sharing! Out of interest how long are you cycles now? Also how long since stopping the pill did they regulate? 😊

@rudyroo thankyou! Thats reasurring to hear =) did you use opks to track? Its really hard when cycles are all over the place!

When I was younger my cycles were totally irregular. I always put it down to stress, it seemed the more I wanted AF to come the longer it took! I dont know if that was the case, it probably did have something to do with being on and off the pill and not eating properly! Seem to be pretty regular now x

@Luckylola12 yeah I used OPKs and was able to be more control of my cycles that way. I started from about day 10 and always managed to get a peak. You could try temping too? (Although saying that, I tried and gave up, my temps were all over the place and it stressed me out!)

Hi @Luckylola12 I stopped the pill back in October, didn’t have a period until 5th December, then have had a 31, 54, 45 day cycles and I’m currently on day 36 of this cycle! You’re not on your own xx

I haven’t even stopped contraception and my body decided to just skip a period last month. I finally caved to my concerns, bought some internet cheapy tests to put my mind at rest even though I have an implant and my period started that morning.

Bodies just like to fuck you over for shits and giggles.

Hi @hoping87 its good to hear that its normal after stopping the pill! Just wonder how long it will take to regulate?

@rudyroo im going to buy some cheapy opks (when af finally arrives!) So i can test as much as possible! Are you testing twice a day? I tried temping but kept forgetting to do it each day haha!

@mrsfraserb thanks for sharing! I am trying not to stress, i didn realise the inpact it can have with your cycles!

@xsharonneedlesx that must of been confusing! Bodies are very strange sometimes haha!

@Luckylola12 no I just did it once a day but I got the digital ones with smiley faces so I didn't have to analyse the strips. They worked well for me but I know they are expensive.

Luckylola12 Mon 20-May-19 10:51:51

@rudyroo they are very expensive! Maybe ill get lots of cheapy ones and try twice a day =) still no sign of af 😪

Luckylola12 Mon 20-May-19 10:52:49

@rudyroo when you got your bfp did you figure out what day you ovulated on? Was it the classic 14 days before?

RudyRoo Mon 20-May-19 11:37:48

@Luckylola12 when I got BFP I got peak on cycle day 17, but who knows how long my cycle would have been if I had got my AF. I would start using cheapies like you say and see how you get on. Hope everything sorts iteself out soon for you.

Morning everyone....thought I’d share this with periods didn’t really regulate after stopping the pill, but this has happened!! So try not to worry too much about your periods! X

Quite possible and normal. Some women miss a few. Don't worry about it.
