TMI picture - Implementation bleeding advice

This is my 3rd day of brown spotting, only there when I wipe. I am 8-9dpo pains in lower right abdomen. I keep reading that implementation bleeding can be either light pink or brown.
Has anyone got any experience with this? Or had similar spotting?
I honestly thought it was my period starting early. but now 3 days of this I am starting to wonder if it’s possible 🤔

I am trying my hardest to resist testing but I won't believe it till I see the 2 lines. How long did you get your positive test after this?

Still no sign of af, cycle is usually 34-36 days long and I am currently on day 35. Had a faint positive yest morning but I think it was an evap because this morning it was flat out negative.

This evening I am have strange cramps and bloating, I suspect af might be showing up. Have no idea why I had brown spotting fri-sun.

I hate that this is so confusing 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Beanchopper did this ever result in a BFP? I'm having the exact same light brown discharge now, 5 days before I'm due on but got a negative test.. thanks xx

Hi sorry to jump on your post, I’m 9dpo and started light bleeding on Sunday and have subtle cramping, yesterday morning I was bleeding a bit more heavier, and then it got lighter in the afternoon and now it’s heavier but it’s not as dark as my usual period, I’m just wondering is it possible for my period to start 7dpo? I’ve been tracking my ovulation and got a positive test on Sunday 17th (did the deed then) but as I have irregular periods I’m not sure when I’m due on and Google’s no help at all, I know it could be my period but I’m just confused how I’ve come on so early any ideas?? Thanks xxx

@Jadelouise21 doesn't sound like a period to me, Google said you can implantation bleed between 6-12 days so could be implantation but don't take my word for it as I'm new to all of this!

@lozpants that’s what I was thinking but it’s not spotting there’s quite a bit of blood but it’s not enough to fill a tampon or pad, but it’s lasted nearly 2 days so I’m thinking it is my period it’s just confusing as to why I got a positive ovulation test and a week after I’ve come on! I’m baffled lol, fingers crossed for you! Hopefully there’s somebody who’s experienced this too! Xxxx

I've had similar to this but we missed our fertile period this month so def not preggers, just to say it can be a natural bodily function that isn't pregnancy related :/ but I hope for all of you it is the good stuff!!

I had the same through all my pregnancies... I did miscarry a couple later on, but I also successfully carried one single and twins. The brown discharge and cramping were definitely implantation in my case. I hope so for you! Good luck!!!

It’s like a pink red, brown colour but sometimes it can be heavy, I know it’s probably my period just don’t understand how it’s come a week after I’ve ovulated, very confusing xxx

@Jadelouise21 I had strange bleeding 7dpo earlier in the month. It started the 14th and ending the 17th. The first day it was just spotting but day 2 and 3 I would get up in the morning and rush to toilet as I could feel more blood was going to rush out. It would go back to nothing but spotting during the day - I would wear a pad but just get a little smear of blood. Very unusual for me as Im used to very heavy bleeds. The colour ranged from pink to red and then brown on the last day. I also had lots of symptoms such as nausea and back pain that have stayed with me (was even sick Sunday/Monday). I never got anything bar a BFN.

I started OPKs early last week as I was concerned I would ovulate earlier if this was a weird period. Sure enough, my OPKs have got stronger and went to peak yesterday. No idea why it happened but our bodies can do all sorts of weird things.

This will be my 3rd day of bleeding, the cramps stopped last night and now it’s just a bit of blood more pinky with a bit of brown in god knows what’s happening, it’s very confusing I’ve got a test anyway as I’m 10dpo today so will maybe test tomorrow or Friday, I’ll start testing again after I’ve stopped bleeding and see if I get a peak earlier, I’m not really sure when my periods due as I have irregular periods, app says today but I came on a week early on my last period so really messed me up, I was testing 6 days after my period and then got a positive on the 17th, I’m trying not to think about it too much but it’s hard and it’ll be my first pregnancy so I don’t know what the symptoms are I don’t think I’d be bleeding like this for 3 days if it was only implantation bleeding.
