Anyone experienced a crazy luteal phase?

Just wondering if anyone has had he same experience as me. Been tracking fertility through FF app for the last three months of trying. First two months my luteal phase was really short, like 8 days. I panicked and starting taking conception Wellwoman and eating all the foods that are meant to lengthen it etc. This month FF has basically given up on me, saying my luteal phase is too short to predict ovulation. However my temp has spiked the last two days (cd 20 and 21) and so I don’t know if I have ovulated or what?! It seems really late compared to previously. The last few months have been a 25/26 day cycle. Any wisdom would be appreciated!!

Hello, just wanted to offer some reassurance to you. I came off the pill last November and my luteal phase was very short. First and second month only 7 days ☹️ Third month got 9 days and fourth month was 10 days. This month my period didn’t come and I tested at 13dpo and got a positive result. According to my app I am 4 weeks and 5 days so very early days so cautiously pleased.
Please be assured it can happen 😊 I took a few different supplements too that I can share with you.

Ah fab congratulations! What did you use to increase the length of your luteal phase?

I don’t know whether it was the supplements or just my body adjusting. But I was taking folic acid, vitamin d, vitamin b6 and vitex. Good luck 😊

B6 can lengthen a luteal phase... mind you, it doesn't always work!

Ah the pregnacare before conception that I’ve been taking has B6 in too. Hopefully it’ll work! I’m just co fused because FF app has decided not to tell me ovulation or anything this month and so because I’ve had two high temperatures in a row I’m wondering whether it’s a late ovulation (I’m on cd23 today) or if it’s a raised temp due to getting my period soon. So confusing!
