5 days of positive ovulation test

I've been testing ovulation since around Tuesday last week. The tests started light and showed a positive on Friday and then also the same Saturday, Sunday, Monday and today. Why am I testing positive for so long?

This happened to me a couple of months ago but I had a negative in between (so +ve for 2 days then -ve then 2 days +ve). Asked on here and someone said that your body can gear up for ovulation and doesn't manage so tries again. Can you track O using temping or CM? I was only using OPK's before but now I am trying to track all these things so I have a clearer idea, sometimes I think OPK's can just make you more confused!

Are you using the cheap OPK Test strips? Some people's LH surge can last a few days - others a few hours - if yours has remained peak/high for couple of days I would just say you have a long surge this month x

Yeah using cheap opk strips. I have been using the same strips for the Last 7 cycles, but this Is the only one that I have found to be this long. I only use test strips at the moment, but think I may also have to start temping, as according to the test strips I'm still showing positive today and it's making me really unsure if I'm actually even ovulating.
