Hi Guys

I had my HSG test on Friday (What a traumatic experience!). I bled a little on the day but nothing much- just when I wiped. No blood on Saturday but on Sunday I started to bleed heavily. It's like I'm on my period but heavier with lots of clots passing through. It's continued today with no sign of stopping at moment.

As anyone else experienced similar? The whole test was difficult and she couldn't find my cervix so was quite rough when she was looking around because I was so tense. Not sure if this is contributing towards the heavy flow. No fever or anything that would indicate a sign of infection.

Thanks all x

Hey. Having had your HSG this is not a normal reaction you should go to a doctor ASAP. Just to be safe.

Do not delay, go to the hospital. This is considered an emergency. Bleeding heavily after HSG is abnormal and something is wrong. They should've told you if heavy bleeding occurs you need to see a dr immediately.
