Out of interest. How long does the whole conceiving thing take? As in. If all goes well. How long for the sperm to travel up to the egg. And then fertilise. Then implant? Just started TWW and interested in it all 😊

I'm not a pro but this is what I know from googling this myself
Sperm can survive inside you for 5 days I believe, and an egg only hangs out for 12-24 hours?
Then if an egg gets fertilised it burrows into the womby walls at 6-10 DPO
However I may be corrected 😂
Hope it helped a bit!
And yes womby walls is a scientific term 😉

😂 love it!

So. I ovulated 2 days ago. Been dtd everyday for a while now. Including today. So technically it could be fertilised by now? It's fascinating when you think about it!

@mrsawhite I read a somewhere that you don't ovulate when you're poorly, your body waits until it feels healthy and that blows my mind!
The body is amazing! 😍
