Hi, just looking for some other people's experiences because I'm starting to feel really down in the dumps.

It is my 7th cycle since my miscarriage and still nothing ☹️

Came off nexplanon implant in may 2018, pregnant August, miscarried September.

Weirdly I've had blood (only a small, pink amount) during 2 cycles around the time ovulation should have occurred and again this cycle. Have sought GP advice and they reassured me that everything I'm going through is "normal" yet it doesn't feel like it to me 😥

Any words of encouragement very welcome, really feel like shit 😔

I had a chemical at the end of October & was pregnant by the end of December. Wishing you lots of luck x

Thanks, pretty quick for you although not really sure what a chemical is.??

I had a miscarriage in December and still trying now (just going into the tww for cycle 4 post miscarriage although we didn't try this month).

A chemical is a really early miscarriage, before 5 or 6 weeks I think. I had one at the beginning of this montj and was really happy to have conceived again but then started bleeding after a few days.

Ah, really feeling like this just won't happen and that the age gap is getting bigger and bigger which in itself is making me panic, really thought something would have happened by now ☹️. Maybe I should book into gp again???

Not many. There is 20mths between DCs and I has a mc in between them.

@michellebops because from what my GP was saying they wouldn't look into it unless I had another 2 more MCs 😫😫😔😔

Yes I track everything and have a lot of sex! As I'm over 35 I have already seen the fertility service. My blood tests are fine and my dh's sperm is fine too. I have been waiting for a HyCoSy scan with the nhs for a while and am finally giving up waiting and having a private one this week (£500). It's to check my Fallopian tubes aren't blocked. I do have a nearly 3 year old - she took 9 months to conceive. Hang in there!

@queenqueenqueen yes my gp.

I'm almost 42 and already have a 3 year old.

This was my first miscarriage

@Michellebops & @seven201 do you think I should go back to GP then?

I'm 31

Like @seven I also had a mmc this time last year and absolutely nothing since then. Fingers crossed it happens for all of us soon!

Good luck edinbeezer and everyone.

Queen, I think if you're under 35 the guidance for referral is if you've not conceived in 12 months (mc count) or if you've had 3 miscarriages in a row. So I think you need to wait a bit longer for nhs. It had been 6 months since my mc when my gp referred me, but that's only because I'm over 35. I went to gp in August and saw the fertility dept late jan. some trusts are quicker though.

I regret not going private sooner. If you can afford it maybe look into costs.

Hi ladies can I join? I had a mc in September and just started cycle 7 since. I’m so fed up. I stupidly convinced myself we would be quick again as it was only 2 cycles the first time. I’ve also got the due date coming up next Sunday (Mother’s Day) and struggling to get my head together. X

Our stories are very similar in a lot of ways.

I got pregnant the first month of trying.

I didn't had a miscarriage, but sadly, I had to have a TMFR. (Which is when they basically induce a miscarriage I guess.)

Now it's been 6 cycles of trying and nothing.

I also have been spotting at ovulation since my TMFR. Last few cycles, it's got heavier.

Seeing the GP on Monday. I've had tests for infections and STIs plus an ultrasound for "retained products" or cysts etc and all came back totally clear.

I think I'm going to be fobbed off with "it's normal". But I am worried it's my thyroid or my progesterone is too low!

Have you had any other symptoms? Just before ovulation and my period I get stupendously fatigued.

Sorry, it's been 5 cycles and now we're on our 6th of trying. Think I ovulated today actually.

@wildflower2019 why did you have to have TMFR? Do you know why you bleed around ovulation? Has a GP ever said what that could be? It's just happened this month to me and it's bothering me 😥 do you think I should go back to GP?

SO Sorry you are going through this, it's so bloody hard. Do you have other DCs? Xx
