Hi ladies,

I suffered a silent miscarriage end of October and was just looking to start a thread for ladies in a similar position to me, who are trying to conceive at the moment. Would be lovely to have some support and guidance.

Hello. I'm so sorry for your loss. I have 2 rainbow babies and 2 angels. I have pcos which affects my fertility. Hubby and I have been trying conceive for a year with no luck. Having had about 5 years of difficulties I hope to be able to help.

Hi @pandaobsessed I'm in the same boat. I had my second MMC in November and this is my first full cycle since so now in the TWW. Sorry for your loss.

Where are you in your cycle? I'm DPO 3 so AF/BFP due around 17th although I will not do any testing unless I'm a week late.

I had my miscarriage at the end of October. Now trying again.
In that awful 2 week wait period to see if I’m pregnant or going to get AF.

Hello, would also like to join!

I had a late miscarriage at 18.5 weeks in October. I finally ovulated just after Christmas and am in my first tww since.

Wishing everyone lots of luck xx

Hi Ladies.
I had a missed miscarriage in November, and now I’m waiting for my second period since, or fingers crossed BFP! I’m due sometime this week and it’s looking unlikely it’ll be this month due to no symptoms 😔
Got my fingers crossed for us all 🤞🏻

Hello ladies, it's lovely to meet you all. I'm so sorry you've all been through similar events. But I hope we all get that BFP really really soon. I've just finished my second period since having the miscarriage, so hoping this will be my lucky month. Fingers crossed xx

Hi @Newbie21, sorry to hear you've had two miscarriages. Sending positive vibes your way. I'm currently three days post period, so coming up to ovulation in the next week according to my Clue App. I ordered ovulation tests to determine when I am actually ovulating though xx

I’m trying hold out until Wednesday before testing, it’s not easy.
And today I hhave been feeling some cramps, so beginning to think this might not be my month.
It’s nice to be able to chat with people who understand.
All my friends and family have fallen easily. But I’m also 40 at the end of the month, which I’m not sure is helping me either.

I had a miscarriage in September. Been TTC since then but no luck yet

Hi ladies,

I had my second mmc in November. We decided to wait 3 months or so to start trying again as waiting on a referral.

I had a normal period 3 weeks after the mmc which ended in a d&c but then in Dec with what should have been my second period I had bleeding for one day only so see what this month brings! Hoping they go back to normal for when we do begin ttc again.

Sorry to hear about all your losses. So hoping 2019 is our year!

I’ve just tested and got a BFN ...should have known better!! Walked past a Superdrug on my way home and couldn’t help but nip in a pick a test up. I’m either 12 or 10 dpo and know it could still be early but deep down know I’m not!
Since the miscarriage, I’ve wanted a baby more than ever, it hurts so much 😔

MollyFaith00 · 07/01/2019 18:50

@PurrMaid I just wanted to say you are not alone. I also tested today even though it is too early, it was middle of the afternoon (🤦🏽‍♀️) and I promised myself I wouldn't but did it anyway and got a bfn too. I now feel sooooo sh*tty about it.

But it's early and so don't rule yourself out yet!! I'm 9dpo (with my previous two pregnancies I got bfps around 8/9 dpo so am feeling a bit blue).

It's just so hard. Sometimes I feel really logical and positive about TTC after my loss. But some days I feel COMPLETELY insane and overwhelmed by wanting to be pregnant again.

It's such a tough journey and I'm sorry we're all going through it. 💐

I caved and tested too.
Got a BFN I’m 10 or 8 dpo. Will leave until after Wednesday now.

@MollyFaith00 @Em39ma
Sorry to hear of your bfns too 😔 I got a positive at 10dpo with a frer with the pregnancy I lost, so i think I’ll end up giving up hope this month.
Im the same, I can be completely fine and be calm about it all, then the next minute I’m going crazy googling everything. The TWW is the worst. Would just quite like AF to turn up now to get on with the next cycle.

Em39ma · 07/01/2019 20:05

I tried a Frer but I don’t when mine showed up last time.
I fell whilst on the pill. Took a test then as looked about 5 months pregnant and came up with 1-2 weeks.

Hi girls! I’m new to this!! I’ve been TTC for 6 months, I had what I thought was a period last month but did a test 3 days later and it was positive!! Tested for 4 days and on the 5th it said negative 😔 now I’m so messed up with my cycle I’m going crazy! I had a positive ovulation test on the 28th December and was due my period on Saturday. I’ve had what I think was implantation bleeding but it’s lasted longer than 2-3 days, always pink not red. It’s so frustrating waiting!!! I did a test this morning which is probably way too early but I just can’t help myself!! My BBT has also stayed elevated but I just can’t work out why I’m still having bleeding.
Anyone had a similar thing?? Xx

Well I think I’m out. Really bad cramps and burning wear I really don’t want it to burn. Normal signs AF is on its way.
So bad just went down stairs in the dark and fell down😥
Now have a sore toe, ankle and arm to go with it.

Oh no @Em39ma poor you. Hope you're ok. Fingers crossed it's not AF.

Good luck to all and I hope this is a lucky thread. Like others I go from trying to be positive to crying my eyes out and anything can set me off. At the moment though I'm feeling hopeful whilst there are days that I hate the TWW there are other days where I embrace the fact it allows me to be hopeful and not be worried or hopeless. Holding on to that hope also stops me testing early. I've had a few CPs as well as the MCs so having a BFP doesn't feel the same for me now. I'm also lucky to have a little DS who is 2 and a half, I fell straight away with him and I enjoyed my pregnancy. Now pregnancy is tainted with constant fear but maybe if I can fall and get beyond the 12 week mark I can enjoy it a little bit. I also find myself yearning for bad morning sickness so I know I'm pregnant. I know this is a ridiculous thought cos I had no sickness whatsoever with my son so not sure what it would prove!

Anyway, less rambling from me. good luck ladies.

@pandaobsessed I started using OPKs after my first MC and I have found it has really helped me understand my body more and made me feel like I can have a bit of a say in the process. Maybe that is a silly way of looking at it but I do think it has helped me. Hope it works for you.

@PurrMaid @MollyFaith00 @Em39ma don't let your negative tests get you down ladies. You still haven't met AF this month, so you never know. Try and stay positive - if AF does come this month, you can have more fun trying for your rainbow baby next month. I'm a good one to talk though as I get down about AF arriving every month since the miscarriage. Hopefully this is a lucky thread 💕

@Em39ma I hope you're not too sore after your fall, bless you.

@Lola87 Welcome to the thread! Does AF usually start with pink bleeding for you? Otherwise it sounds possibly quite promising. Keep us updated!! My fingers are super crossed for you.

@Newbie21 My ovulation tests should be turning up today, so I'll start using them today. Hopefully they help. We do the deed every other day (on most occasions), so wonder if we are missing it.

@Panda obsessed. I’m not to bad. A black toe, and good bruises on my ankle and arm. I’m rather good at falling down the stairs, when’s I’ve blessed the new house. I do make a habit of doing it about once every few months.
Not sure what’s happening with me. Cramps really bad and the painkillers aren’t doing anything.
I have the doctors this morning, so will mention it to her.

@Em39ma Sorry to hear about your fall, hope you’re not too sore!

Does anybody use the clearblue ovulation tests? I used the cheap ones last month but thought I’d give the clearblue a go? I never got a positive which is why I’m probs not preg this month. Do you use them first thing in the morning or in the afternoon?

@PurrMaid I know they say to use ovulation tests in the evening, so that the hormone level released when ovulating is at its highest. Don't do them first thing as won't be accurate (apparently) - unlike a pregnancy test.

@Em39ma yes mention it to the docs. Maybe they can do a pregnancy test for you there? I had cramps and had a BFP before so you never know! Your bump sounds nasty - maybe it's to do with hormones. They do say you get clumsier certain times of the month 🙈

Hello, hope you don't mind me joining. Sorry to hear about everyone's losses, my early MC (6 weeks) was 13.12 and although me and DH have been devastated by the news we have tried to stay positive and have already started TTC again even though I've not had AF since the MC. Last couple of days my boobs have been really sore which was the main symptom I had last time I had a BFP. Before MC I had fairly long cycles (34days) so AF isn't due until 16.01. I'm trying to hold off testing but not sure I'll be able to wait that long if my boobs carry on hurting so much.
