hi ladies from the old TTC thread, time to start a new one you think? Its gone way past 500!

Right.go on then, a little bit of magic is fun!

am off to Glasto this weds, and aparantly its good luck to run around the stone circle 3 times.

I'm doing it once for myself and some of my TTC buddies, but if you fancy a little of the glasto luck your way... pop your name here!

(its only a bit of fun!)

How funny can you try a couple for me, I've been trying for my first for 7 months and no joy yet. So some good old fun may just work.

I hope you have good running shoes you may be there a while.

Have a fab time.

Ok so is this our new TTC first baby thread then? Shall we all post on here from now on?

Have a wee thing I am worrying about. Went to a wedding on Sat and both me and dh got v drunk, sort of unintentionally. Had a brilliant time and danced the night away with all our lovely pals.
But next day thought I was going to die from my hangover and so did he - have we totally damaged all his sperm and my eggs for the next couple of months?! I know that sounds mad, but have been reading in Zita West's book about life cycles of sperm and worried we have nuked them all in one evening?!
Please someone tell me I'm being a twit!

Thanks guys - you must think I am mad!

no my lovely, not mad, just a worrier!

its natural to worry, but dont let this take over your life, i know its so easy for it to. Ive seen it with my friends.

If youre healthy and happy, and take your folic acid, and look after yourself its ok, a mad night out isnt going to ruin your chances, it means youre relaxed and having fun!

If you followed evry single bit of advice in the pregs books, you would eat nothing unhealthy, drink nothing have no fun at all.

Its when youre pregnant you need to be really good. xxx

this is the fun bit my love!

oops - missed this thread..

get your running shoes sorted fi!!

Treenie - I'm the same as you - a total worrier! DH had a really heavy night a couple of weeks ago and I had a total fit worrying what damage he'd done. Bit of a nutter really! Do you think it is just that some sperm die off or can they have damaged the actual sperm that may fertilise the egg - it's all very scary!

Hi Treenie,

You have to live you life sometimes, we to were at a wedding on Saturday and got very drunk. It is not like it happens all the time. You have to let your hair down sometimes. Don't worry although the same thoughts did go through my mind.

We had our business trashed on Saturday night some nice people stole 30 wedding dresses and our alarm did not go off so insurance might not cover us!!!!!! I ask you what is someone going to do with 30 dresses. So you seriously have to enjoy life because who know what is around the corner.

Toomuch you have to get Zita West's book - it will tell you all about it. Basically they have 100 day life cycle and what he does in those 100 days can effect everything from how well they swim to how healthy they are. That's why I'm worried. God knows what happens to eggs! Glad to hear I'm not alone if being a massive worrier.
But Fi is right (thank you for being the voice of reason Fi!). One wild night isn't going to make that much of a difference I hope and I'm doing all the other things right. What a flippin minefield this all is though eh?

Babybratt that is so aweful! What a horrible thing to happen. But you know what, even if the police don't get them karma will. Strong believer in that - what goes around comes around.
But poor you, you must be so shaken up.

Treenie - I'm such a worrier that I reckon I may avoid the Zita West book - DH is never going to give up alcohol completely so it will just make me worry more. But you think one big night out won't make that much difference? Or do you think you need to wait over 100 days before TTC to flush out the bad sperm?

BB - sorry to hear about your theft! People are awful aren't they - hope it all goes well with the insurance company!

It can all get mighty worrying cant it when you start researching. I think you have to remember that people have been doing this for years, and hey- our parents did it probably pie-eyed after a night at the local disco!

Try not to worry girls. anyway- we are all going to be pregnant by christmas bacuse im runnig around the stone circle until im sick for us!

On the old thread you said not to use OV sticks - why not? do you not like them? Interested to hear your opionion
