Constant smiley flashy face on OPK

Hi all.

I'm TTC - Cycle 8 although had a MC in Feb which took some time to settle and resolve.

This month in trying OPKs (the clear blue ones if that makes any difference). Cycle length 35 days (although has been a bit screwy since my MC). I'm on CD25 and for the past 10 days I've had a smiley flashy face, still no static smiley! What is going on?! I'm so fed up of my body!

Any advice welcome...!

King x

I had loads of flashing smileys the first month I used it but did eventually get the static. I think I started testing too early though.

I know how frustrating it is seeing that bloody flashing face! Try keep with it, it should happen.

I got my bfp the second month of trying these and do really feel that it helped x good luck x

@kingofthemountains
Hi! I’m on day 10 of the flashing smiley too. Are you doing cheapies in the afternoon as well?

I had the same thing the first month. It also takes some time for the reader to get to know you. I never got a peak in my first month and I think I got up to 18 or so days flashing. The best thing I find to do is buy the internet cheapies and only when the second line is getting nearly as dark at the control line that’s when you start using clearblue. This way I only have had to use 2-3 a month - much cheaper!

Thanks - I wasn't aware you could get cheaper ones! Will look into it next month (not feeling positive for a BFP) and try again....!

@Chanel05 it's so frustrating isn't it?! First day I tried to use it I got the low fertility face so I thought it was working properly!

@kingofthemountains it really is! I felt smug on my first day of the flash and now it bothers me deeply! I keep thinking that SURELY it’s got to stop flashing soon...

@Chanel05 also means that I now have no idea when AF is due - maybe the app I'm using to track is right after all?! Argh! It's not helping me not be a crazy person about it all Sad

@kingofthemountains same! When were you expecting it to arrive? I’ve just done an internet cheapie and the line is so faint! Last week they were much more visible and I’ve barely drunk anything since 11 deliberately 🙈. I’m not convinced my ovulation is coming.

Bloody last Saturday!!! I can usually feel it but don't think I have yet. My cycles used to be so regular - stupid MC messing it all up!

I don’t feel like I know what I’m feeling for! I was due it last Saturday too! Tomorrow has to be the day for both of us.

I just looked back at my app and I got 14 flashing before static! Crazy but it did finally come. Looks like I only have 3 the cycle after x

Just to offer hope ... was in a similar situation until this morning when the static finally arrived. I think I'll go back to cheapies after this month as the cb advanced is just to stressful let alone expensive!!

I started testing on cd8 as my mc cycles have been 28 days, and it took until cd23 (missed a day early on hence my numbers were out!)
