Thought I'd start this one. This is my first bus and would love to chat with other's TTC in August.

Stats:
Age: 26
TTC number: 1!
Cycle: 1st officially TTC, although was a chance last cycle
CD: 6 of 27-29 day cycle
BFP/AF due: 2nd Augst

I'm trying to really prepare my body as much as possible for pregnancy. Trying to lose some weight and strengthen my core and back as I've got crap core and lower back muscles which worry me a bit in terms of pregnancy

Welcome @organised5 and @hellobrass :) First cycle for all of us, how exciting! What are you doing to keep busy? I'm approaching my fertile period and it's all I've been thinking about today! And it's really slowing time down, need to distract myself somehow.

Hi guys! I’m 30, TTC#1, cycle 3, CD10, AF due 2 August. Keeping fingers crossed but only third month in and already can’t imagine getting a BFP, both cycles so far I kept imagining pregnancy symptoms before AF and got through quite a few very negative tests. Ah well. Fingers crossed for this month!

I stopped the pill 3 weeks ago and my body is all over the place. No period yet annoyingly!

Did an OPK last week and it had a negative line but this week have had zero lines at all.

I've just seen my July FW come and go, which was really weird. I keep thinking "this time next month...". I've been tracking my cycle and have OPK's ready to go but I haven't used them before.

Work is keeping me busy, but I think it will be my TWW when I turn into an impatient mess!

@ValidUser We'll be due our AF/BFP on the same day!

@Thismummyruns Have you downloaded an app to start tracking your cycles? I have Clue and I find it really useful and interesting. I've never known so much about my cycle before - it's such an eye opener!

Hi everyone,
Very new to all this!
28 and have just decided to TTC with my partner. Stopped the mini pill (cerazette) a week ago. Haven't had a withdrawal bleed but I did have about a week break between prescriptions a few weeks before and had a withdrawal bleed then. No real symptoms from stopping the pill, have been very tired and queasy but I'm a teacher at the end of term so that's usual!
Trying to be relaxed about it all but I'm naturally anxious and impatient and would love things to happen quickly!
An added anxiety for me is that I was conceived through GIFT (slightly different to ivf) and my parents had unexplained infertility. I'm so scared something is genetic and I could have problems to! Any other test tube babies with positive stories?

I have, I've downloaded 3 as I couldn't find the one I used back with DC1. Didn't know which one was best so thought I'd use all 3 and keep the one I like to use.
Problem is all I've been able to track is 'symptoms' as still no sign of first bleed!!

August will be cycle 15 I got bfp in April but lost it soon after.

Cycle 13 was a write off as DH got a sickness bug during my FW so I wasn’t going anywhere near him.
Cycle 14 he was in hospital (not serious though!) for the FW so another write off!

Just waiting for AF to arrive now to start cycle 15! And crossing my fingers no more disasters befall DH in the FW!!!

@EverythingNow sorry to hear about the last two months. Fingers crossed for you this time.

Question for all: how often / many times are you DTD during your fertile window? Getting confused with all the advice online. Clue says my FW is 6 days from CD11-16. Was planning to DTD every other day to include estimated ovulation day of CD15, so 11, 13, 15. We missed CD11 so now I'm in a muddle!! Am I over thinking it?

I hope this will be a lucky bus for everyone one:) @everythingnow so sorry about your loss and I hope your DH will be better and this FW!

@organised5 from what I've researched they recommend every other day as that should cover it. My DP travels a lot so is away 1-4 days a week on average but when we're together we have sex 1-2 time a days just because we want to really. I think the main thing so just to have sex on or around when you ovulate at least once! Anyone else have anything to recommend?

I'm due to ovulate in around 2 days and feeling very relaxed about it all and just really enjoying it. My DP and I have had a really nice weekend which has just been so nice, feeling like I'm in a little love bubble

We are TTC our first. Trying since we got married in Feb so starting to worry it'll never happen. I thought my Italian genes would help me bread like a rabbit!

Started using Flo to track my cycle. Worried that doing too much tracking will take the fun out of things though. But at a loss with it all but do think it'll happen when it's supposed to.

Hi everyone 🙂 AF started yesterday (2 days early - thanks!) so off the July bus and onto August.

TTC: #1
Cycle: 5
CD: 2

Cycle 3 we had a BFP but chemical pregnancy (to be honest prefer the term very early miscarriage but it is what it is).

Last cycle I used OPKs, SMEP and Conceive Plus but no joy. Will be doing the same this month.

I've printed off a blank calendar so I can make all sorts of notes as the month goes on. I know I have it all on my phone in my app, but there's something about a pen and a bit of paper!

I'm going to track CD, OPK, DTD and anything else I can think of.

I'm finding it so hard to concentrate on anything else at the moment.

@HelloBrass I did that this cycle just gone and found it really soothing, will be doing it this time too - I have apps too but like you I like pen and paper. I had different colours etc for different things. Hope it helps you too!
